Kim and Kristine took care of our dog and 2 cats for a week (we did the "slumber pawty" sleepovers) and it was so amazing being away and not worrying the pets. They sent regular updates and pictures and Jen was great at putting together coverage for a full week on short notice! A lot of people look for the cheapest option but there are 2 big benefits I see with investing in actual professionals - 1. We knew our pets were getting the best care so didn't feel guilty and 2. We had someone in the house while we were away. The second one was important to us because we were broken into when on a previous vacation (when we lived in same city a few houses away in a very safe neighborhood). The police told us keeping visible activity in and out of the house while gone can help prevent this. The cost for quality care was much less than the value of what was taken in that incident. When we returned our pets were obviously very well cared for. The sitters slept in our guest room but brought their own linens to use on top of ours so we wouldn't have to do laundry which I though my was extra thoughtful (though we would have been happy for them to use ours). Will be using them whenever we go away and highly recommend - just plan ahead so you can book them in advance! Bonus points for their text updates on the pets being hilarious read more

Worst experience. Jen who picked up the phone was extremely rude. She did not want to answer any questions that I had. In fact she belittled me by saying a bunch of insults to my puppy. Never have I thought that someone who deals with pets have so little concern. She hanged up the phone on me while I still was upset. When I called back , she had blocked me. I asked for support on media pages , but as a admin she banned me from The page. Not sure if she even is a legit trainer. I ended up getting the right help from another trainer that respected me. We had a dog walker back in New England before moving out here to California, but found we didn't need one most weeks thanks to our respective work schedules. When the holidays came around, we realized we would be gone for 5 days and had no one to care for our pup. After a recommendation from our vet, we gave Jen a call and asked her if she'd be willing to dog sit for us. She agreed and we couldn't have been more happy. Jen was phenomenal. She kept in constant contact with us through text message and even sent pictures of our dog so we knew he was doing well. I originally contacted Jen last year in 2011 inquiring to have someone pick up our Cocker Spaniel from our wedding venue in West Covina, and drop him off at the Petsmart Pet Hotel in Monrovia (our dog acted as our ring bearer during our wedding ceremony... totally cute, I know). She couldn't give me an exact price because she said she was planning on increasing her rates for the following new year but told me that the pricing would not go up that much. Communication with Jen seemed to be good initially last year and in the beginning of this year. Jen even said she would help us out (she said she penciled in our date for the job). However, when trying to get ahold of her towards the end of July, it became a bit of a challenge. She got in contact with me eventually and said that her cell phone was dropped in a bowl of water and so she did not have the best of reception (which was a little frustrating that she did not have a reliable means of contacting her... and yes I tried calling her other number that is listed on her website and also emailing her, but response was not nearly as quick). Jen wanted to meet us and our dog before the wedding so that she can get to know our dog a little bit more. But she was not flexible in the dates she had to meet us and then ended up cancelling. Because of the lack of response/ slow response and flakiness, we really had to scramble looking for someone else to pick up our dog at our wedding venue. Luckily we found a husband and wife on rover.com at a much cheaper price and better deal than what Jen had quoted me ($30). I was very disappointed with her lack of communication and would not consider hiring Jen for future dog related needs (honestly, I think I'm being generous at giving her 2 stars). read more

I needed a break from work and wanted to go to Vegas for a few days of relaxation and fun. I had a week and half to find a pet sitter but it was a little tricky because I am fairly new to the San Gabriel Valley and didn't know where to start looking. I found Two Dogs Petsitting and after reading all their good reviews on their website and on the fox la hotlist site, I called them to see if they still had availability. Within a day, I got a response and price quotes from Jen, the owner of the business. Prices are very reasonable and Jen and Steve are very friendly people. Our dog is picky when it comes to male strangers and Steve instantly became his friend. Jen and Steve were very accomodating, even with my last-minute change of plans. Because Steve did a good job, I came home to a calm dog that probably didn't even notice that I was gone. On my next trip (or if I get too busy that I can't walk the dog), I will definitely use their services again. I've been putting off writing this review only because I didn't want this pet sitting company to become too busy that I'd have to call months in advance. I know it's evil ... but I decided to take the risk and thank Jen and Steve for a job well done with this review. read more

I cannot say enough good things about the care that Jen and Kim have provided for the various animals in my home. Jen is beyond amazing. She has a heart of gold! We were traveling back late from out of town, and our pup was going to be stuff at the Petsmart Pethotel in a kennel for another night if we didn't make it there by 6pm. I was crying hysterically, and my husband got right on yelp and tracked Jennifer down to see if she could possibly pick him up and hold him for us until we got back in town. She was able to do that and take her to her friend that pet-sits, and she even sent me a pic of our baby when she picked him up! He even met a new friend! Her doggy Beans! And I think that fundraisers she handles are so wonderful and we even made a donation to the YMCA Metropolitan of Los Angeles. We stopped using this so called company a few years ago because she abruptly cancelled our dog walking sessions because she wanted to get newer clients at the time in which she could charge more money. Completely caused a problem additionally, when we scheduled for pet sitting due to a trip we were taking and she cancelled on that. Of course we have never done business with her again. The owner of Two Dogs Petsitting has gone above and beyond for our two hyper dogs. Jen takes them on three hikes a week and they come home completely exhausted. She also makes sure that they are clean when she drops them off which is important to us since we just got new carpet. We have hired them to spend the night with our two and even though Jen was already scheduled to spend time with other dogs, she had Steve meet us and he stayed for two nights and Jen stayed for four nights. It worked out really well and our dogs absolutely love them both. With previous sitters, we always had to wash all the sheets and clean up when we first got home. With Jen and Steve, it was like they weren't even here. Super clean and very tidy, they left the house better than we did! Our dogs are the luckiest in Monrovia, and we are so grateful to have the best pet sitters around. Honestly, the best rates and service in the area. We highly recommend them! read more
