First time visiting this location of Two Eggs in Hampton. The restaurant was clean had great parking outside. There wasn't any music playing which was great for a mid week visit. Service was good and the food was delicious. Although I intended on paying cash my check was brought to me with a card surcharge. I wish establishment such as these would ask first how payment would be made and inform patrons of such surcharges. Otherwise another great dining experience here. read more

Original location was excellent; food, staff, ambiance. While this place is much larger and offers better parking, the experience level of the staff and subsequently, the food needs improvement. We waited two hours for food. Still, didn't yet. Do, we left on Martin Luther King Day.

We really enjoyed this small place, but there were a few things that could be worked on. We put our name on about 30 minutes ahead on yelp, and then waited another 30-45 minutes before being sat. I do believe they need to look into finding a larger restaurant for the weekend crowd they are pulling, as for some people an over hour wait for breakfast is too much. Our server was very friendly, but the hostess were not so much, nor did I see a lot of care in how they carried to go orders lol. They had a DJ there that was pretty neat and good to listen to while waiting on the food. The french toast with strawberries was delicious. I asked for crispy bacon, and I LOVED that when I received it is was actually crispy. Means not only my server understood, but that the communication between server and cook is good. As usual my fiancé loved his eggs Benedict as well, we can't remember the name but we do know the egg Benedict he had, had crab in it as well which was a first for him. My daughter and I had brunch here yesterday. It was our first time at a Two Eggs. We arrived and was greeted pleasantly by the host. She sat us immediately. Our waitress, Samantha (I believe), was so sweet and accommodating. We didn't realize they closed at 2pm and we arrived right around closing time. When I realized it, I apologized to the waitress and said if it's too late we understand. She assured us that it wouldn't be an issue. The place is a nice size. I love that the tables aren't packed in. I wear a mask because of health issues and the host was nice enough to swat us in a booth away from everyone else. I really appreciated it. I didn't even ask for it, but I was happy she did it. The food was excellent. I can't have gluten and was so happy to see they served gluten free pancakes and waffles. No other restaurants do that. I had the blueberry waffles and they were delicious! For once, I didn't feel deprived of what I like. The chicken sausage and my eggs were good too. My daughter enjoyed her food as well. If it wasn't for the long wait time this place would've been a 5 star experience. I joined the line from home and it was about a 40 minutes wait. When we were about 3rd in line we made our way to the restaurant (we only live 10 minutes away) when I walked in we were first in line and 2 people were seated before us. I didn't complain because I'm not sure how long they were waiting. After being seated our server was quick to get our drinks and food order put in. I ordered peach beignets and the grilled chicken bowl both were absolutely DELICIOUS! They have music playing but it isn't so loud that you can't hear yourself think. You can have a conversation without shouting at the person across from you. After tasting the food I understand the long wait and will definitely be returning. read more

Consistent and well balanced. Plenty of vegetarian options if you need that in your life. Beignets and Green Fried Tomatoes I'll pass. Tomatoes were to firm for me and well, I don't know much about beignets, they may have been good, too much like a doughnut and I don't like doughnuts. My niece liked the beignets though. My only drawback is that I didn't ask for no sodium and my wonderful grits were much too salty and I didn't eat them. Also, The staff was very attentive except our waitress. It's a restaurant that is run like a nightclub. Their wait-list sucks, as I've never actually been sat within that window. It's normally an hour off every time I used it. Meaning we waited an hour after what we were told. The new location is nice inside, but the waiting area is setup to handle two families at best. Most have to wait outside or in their car. Is you get good service, the food is great! If you get one of the less skilled servers, your food comes out cold. Food: Best breakfast in Henry County, Georgia! I have visited this location on multiple occasions. Each time I make sure to get something different to have a diversified viewpoint of the food. From the sweet potato pancakes to the shrimp & grits, the fried green tomatoes to the breakfast tacos, I have not been displeased with the food. I would honestly suggest any item on the menu. You will not leave hungry or unsatisfied. Service: Once you are seated everything moves at a rapid pace. From the bar to the last corner booth, the wait staff are attentive and ready to serve or be of service. The wait times can be tremendous. I would not recommend eating here if you are pressed for time or immediately hungry. Particularly I would not recommend dining in on the weekend. Wait times can be two hours plus and that is no exaggeration. Ambiance: Cozy, chill and laid back. The inside of Two Eggs reminds you of the comfort and ease of being in your grandma's kitchen. Very casual and usually a nice mix of r&b tunes are spinning. Near the bar I have noticed that sporting channels are played so there's something to watch if the tunes don't do it for you. If I had to guess no more than 75-100 people would fit in the restaurant at one time and that could be a stretch. I would not be surprised if that number was more like 50-75, honestly. A go to breakfast spot in Henry County (McDonough)!
