I WAS NOT! loved it. The grits were very good. I requested cheese be added to mine. Since it did not come with my dish. The grated bits on the top could have been excluded. It was delish without the distraction. It added no value. My egg was fried HARD the way I asked. My husband's eggs were scrambled soft the way he likes it. The shrimp and grits were awesome! We had a reservation for 9 and waited over 30 minutes just for someone to take our drink order! Food took forever to come out and there were several other tables that came in after us who ate and left. They only had one waffle maker working. When A (yes, meaning one) plate finally did come out, there was hair in it. We didn't leave the establishment until almost 3 hrs after our initial reservation time. Oh and the owner himself messed up one of the orders telling one of the minors their waffle was one thing when it actually was something else. When confronted about it, he said "too bad" . When we refused to pay for the waffle he called the cops and lied that the patron was "irate" and "refused to pay for her food" and that he was "nothing but professional". You would think with all the mishaps, mistakes and the wait being what it was (not to mention he was in the kitchen majority of the time assisting) he would have at least taken the freakin waffle off but to call the police and lie is absolutely ridiculous! We were actually looking forward to spending money in this establishment because we were celebrating 3 birthdays but never again! I wouldn't be surprised if they shut down in the very near future! I have always wanted to come have brunch at Scrambled since they've moved to this location. On the day we decided dine with them, we were treated like royalty before we even entered the building! They held the door for us as we walked up, greeted us graciously, and seated us at an open booth. This location has a variety of seating for booths, tables, as well as a bar with plenty of natural light. We ordered Chicken and Waffles with the Million Dollar Bacon, The Admiral, Shrimp and Grits, and Strawberry Waffles. The food looked so good, I wasn't able to take a picture of everything that was served to us. Carlee's suggestion of fried shrimp with the grits has become my absolute favorite.
