    Flat White
    Esther C.

Came here as a party of 6. The staff were all nice, but the service was slow. It took a while to place our order and get the waitstaff's attention throughout the whole dining experience. I ordered a flat white and I think it sat on the counter for so long, that even the latte art became mush (picture is how it was brought out). I wish at that point the waitstaff had better judgement to make another one so that was pretty disappointing to me. In terms of food, I got the Chicken Harissa Bowl and shared the mushroom soba noodles. They were both good and we enjoyed our food. Note that you can get the sauces on the side if you want to customize how much chili oil in the food. Having come to a few times, I think it's okay if you're looking for a neighborhood spot. And last thing is they do the tip on your post tax amount, so be aware if you kind on the principle of things

    Salmon Quinoa Bowl

Based on the reviews, people seem to have a mixed feeling about this place. However, I had a lovely experience and can confidently say this is one of my top favorite brunch places in Brooklyn! My girlfriends and I tried the following dishes: 1. Smashed Avocado Toast (6/5) - we were sharing every dish and this was my top favorite! Loved how fresh and tasty smashed avocado was and the portion was pretty decent for one person as well. 2. Lemon Poppyseed Waffle (6/5) - this waffle was a truly one-of-a-kind. The texture was soft like cornbread and it tasted amazing with cream and fruits on top. Beautiful plating too! 3. Banana Walnut Bread (5/5) - I have to say this is the best banana bread I've ever had. The cream on top tasted heavenly. Since it was more like a dessert than breakfast, I would also consider a takeout. 4. Salmon Quinoa Bowl (4/5) - combination of soft texture (salmon, avocado, and boiled egg) and crunch texture (pickled radish, sliced carrots, and cucumber) was nice. Portion was pretty big! *Great service. We went to the wrong location and were 20-30 minutes late, but they were able to keep the table for us. *This is a small restaurant and I recommend making a reservation. *Domino park is about 1 min away by walk.

    Zoe's Market Bowl

Solid brunch spot with healthy and hearty options. Both my friend and I ordered the Zoe's market bowls + bacon - it was all the ingredients I wanted for a nutritious meal after a dance class. We also got the potato wedges with aioli - just ok but I think it's bc I don't usually like wedges and would prefer fries. I appreciate how each dish comes with fresh herbs - cilantro and dill on the Zoe's market bowl and chives on the aioli. We all especially liked the blistered tomatoes. Overall, great brunch spot in a cute setting. Space is tight but that's New York!

Oh woweee I loved our visit to Two Hands! Exceptionally flavorful, very kind and friendly with a bright and comfortable dining room, I would highly recommend. We started with an espresso martini, Bloody Mary and tea. Each drink was well balanced, nothing wild and very satisfying. My partner chose the unlimited Bloody Mary special and happily enjoyed 3. I opted for a matcha to follow my espresso martini and was very pleased. The menu selection is well balanced with decadent, sweet and treats for all! Absolutely would love to try more. Licked every part of the avocado toast and gluten free bread from the plate!

Overall great spot with delicious brunch foods. The servers were nice, the food was tasty and everything came out quickly. It's a bit pricey for what I got, but the food was still good, so I'd consider coming again. The smoked salmon on toast was delicious, and I loved all the herbs on top. The runny eggs on the seasonal scramble was also cooked perfectly and the scramble itself savory. The drinks aren't really anything to boast about.

Hands down is one of my favorite restaurants. The service is always great and the food is fresh, flavorful and unique. I always order a banana walnut bread (10/10 always).

Cute brunch spot, a lot of healthy options. Totally recommend it. Would definitely visit again!

such a cute rainy day cafe! Two Hands is the only spot I've seen with mimosas done right! Also, the food was so filling and of course my eyes were bigger than my stomach, I took most of it to-go. Our server was super attentive. We came at 4 and didn't realize they closed at 5pm. We didn't feel rushed to pack and up and leave which was sweet of them. This was my first time at Two Hands and I'll definitely be back!

I really like Williamsburg. It gives the Manhattan of Brooklyn... everything you will likely need without having to cross the bridge. When I was there I needed a nice place for brunch in the morning and that's when I came upon Two Hands right along the river. The small but quaint restaurant had a lot of wonderful lighting from the large windows which gave it a beautiful feel. Even though it was very warm outside, sitting inside facing the sun was really nice. It had a very elegant feeling but at the same time very welcoming. The server was very relaxed and chill as I came in accidentally knocking a water container on my table and continued to be very welcoming throughout my visit. I'm usually not one for unique takes on my breakfasts items but I've got to say the lemon poppy seed waffle was good and I would order that again if i could All the food options on the menu looked so yummy and it had taken me a while to decide what to get but your girl loves her waffles. I would have gotten some mimosas but I wasn't trying to go too hard this time just a chill breakfast. I came in around 9am but it was not busy. I did see a lot of people coming in and out for pick up or to go orders.

    Iced Lavender Matcha

Only got the lavender matcha to go because I happened to be in the area, but am so glad I did! One of the best lavender drinks I've ever had (the flavoring is so natural it's almost floral) and the matcha itself is decent. Restaurant is so close to the waterfront, perfect place to stop before or after a walk.

The most standard, inoffensive brunch place on Earth. Good coffee, good wait staff, good vibes. My salad thingy (pictured) was delicious. I tried a few bites of my friend's poppyseed waffle, which was insanely good. Not horrible, not mind-blowing: Just fine! Plus, this location is near the river so you can go for a nice post-meal stroll if you please.

Odered a chai latte w/ oat milk to go. It was not there very long. The inside was welcoming and there was outside seating. I walked in b/c of the sign on the street and I wanted a hot drink after a yoga class on a nice day. It's a short walk from the Trader Joes nearby. It's definitely somewhere I will return to sit down and have a meal. Pro - location is right around the corner from the waterfront where it's a short walk to view the Manhattan skyline and see Long Island city nearby. Best way to get here is via ferry. Subway station are a few blocks away. On the corner Cons - not a big place but not necessarily a con b/c it's not tiny. It's a great place to sit down and eat.

Really wasn't a big fan of this place. The location is great and the food LOOKS good, but it was lacking in taste & there was a tiny bug crawling on my plate when I got it. Service was ok. I probably wouldn't come back

Nice happy hour and a large chocolate drink selection I was at this unique Guatemalan (ish) restaurant a while back with one of my groups. I said "ish" because the menu has dishes from all over, ranging from sandwiches to BBQ ribs to Guatemalan and Mexican soups. It's out there, and even though not everything works that well, it's fun, and if you can't find something you want to order here, you probably shouldn't go out to restaurants. There was also live jazz music that night, which was loud but nice to listen to. Since it was happy hour, a bunch of us got drinks. I went with a maracuya margarita, which was decent; someone else had a jalapeño margarita, someone had a beer, and someone had a mojito. There were a few nice hot sauces on the table, with the red one reminding me of salsa macha as it had a smoky kick and a spicier green sauce reminiscent of ají verde. They gave us some complimentary blue corn chips and a very mild black bean dip, which was tasty enough and hard to complain about, as it was free. From the appetizers, we got the Hot Figs for $15.95, consisting of honey goat cheese, corn tortilla chips, and plum + pumpkin seeds. This was a unique and fun blend and reminded me more of something you would find in a wine bar. The mix of sweet and salty, with a bit of crunch from the seeds, was nice. This was good, and I would recommend it for a table rather than for a solo diner. There was also The Zingy Salad for $21.95, featuring zucchini spirals, yuzu, tomato, onion, cilantro, pumpkin seeds, and a jalapeño infusion. $18.95. The salad was fine with a bit of crunch and a mild spiciness. It was fine, though a bit wet, for lack of a better word. The best dishes of the night were the soups, which each had its own distinct flavor profile. My sight presence went to the Pepián for $21.95, consisting of chicken, pumpkin/sesame seeds, green tomatillo, cinnamon, cumin, black pepper, carrots, chili coban/pasta/guaque, and potato + rice. There was plenty of tender chicken inside, with the soup having a nice roasted flavor with some spice and a bit of sourness. The potatoes and rice on the bottom added more sustenance to this dish. Almost equally delicious was the Caldo Tlalpeño Rojo for a dollar more with shredded chicken, tomato, black pepper, garlic, onions, peas, chickpeas, corn, achiote, chipotle, Monterey jack cheese, and crunchy blue corn tortilla chips. By comparison, this was a bit heartier, with the melted cheese and shredded tortilla chips inside, similar to soups found in Mexican cuisine. While I also liked the mix of veggies a bit more in this one, as it added a bit more texture, I still slightly preferred the flavor of the other soup, as I usually prefer a bit more spice. The rest of the food was fine. The TPC sandwich for $19.95 with chicken, peanut butter, coconut cream, ginger, cilantro, pickled carrots, and lime was fine. For the number of ingredients, I found it a bit sweet, likely from the cream and the peanut butter mix. The bread was nice, but it also fell apart. It came with a nice side salad with a good vinaigrette. The most expensive at $24.95 were the Slow Cooked BBQ Ribs, consisting of baby back ribs with rice and beans. The ribs were almost a bit too tender as they lacked any bite, which was nice, but the sauce was a bit too generic tasting, reminding me of Sweet Baby Ray's or something similar. The rice and beans were standard. This was also OK. Next came some dessert. There was first the $12.95 Rosemary Churros served with dulce de leche & chocolate dips. While I'm not sure if it worked, the rosemary did add a unique smell and a bit of flavor, and at least it wasn't generic. The churros themselves were hot, and the sauces were standard, with my preference being the dulce de leche. I also ordered a Champurrado for $7.95, which was fine. It wasn't as thick as I expected, though perhaps the style is a bit different than the champurrados I rarely buy from Mexican street carts. The chocolate flavor was very nice, though, and I like that it wasn't too sweet. Another person got a $4 Alfajor, which I got a bite of, which was standard. This place is a bit hard to rate. The two soups were wonderful, I liked the appetizers, and I found a couple of the other dishes just OK. Overall, it was a good meal, but I'm not craving to go back. This would be the perfect 3.5, but I'll round up as that doesn't exist.

The eggs rothko was buttery and flavorful but still managed to not feel too heavy. The broiled tomatos on the side were a nice touch to contrast the egg and toast from the main dish.
