10/10 such a cozy vibe to eat at . Food was absolutely amazing . By far the best food in Porterville . I paid $30 with an $11 tip . I got 7 lumpia , bbq stick combo with both sides . As well as a soda . Workers are so nice and friendly . They also have other items in there including imported snacks . Perfect for dine in or to go . If dinning in make sure to go w no more then 4 people as it's a smaller building , but this makes it more cozy . Please go Try this place out . We had 2 of the 2 item plates, pork and chicken adobo, the sauce was good plus a coke and coconut water from the fridge. The pancit was decent and the lumpia was serviceable. Service was quick as we were the only 2 in the place at the time I really like supporting mom and pop business's but the price was a little steep at $32. read more

I like coming here when I'm missing my Lola. There are three aunties I see there on the regular but auntie Lita is usually the one I see (auntie for respect purposes). She doesn't know me but she calls me "anak"There's a little grocery store inside and Filipino novellas in the background. My go to is the dinaguan...iykyk. My husband really isn't into that so he opts for the chicken adobo/pancit/rice combo....just like the kind you eat at the parties. Place your order in advance if you don't have a long lunch. Food was good. Service was good polite a d welcoming the build needs face left. But it's in the older part of town.

The last time we ordered to go they screwed up our order. I ordered pancit a noodle dish. When we got home the orders were identical. No pancit but rice and and a main dish. I ordered bbq on skewers and the skewers were half of a skewer instead of a whole skewer but the same price as with the whole skewers. The meat stick skewers were good....the Lumpia taste like the mixed frozen veggies in a bag. I have never had Lumpia with corn and pea's and no meat & nowhere on the menu stating it's Vegetable only. This is a mom and pop joint that serves great Filipino food, and is the only restaurant of its kind in Porterville. The signature dishes of pancit, chicken adobo and lumpia are always available. All three of these are very good. Menu is limited and there are other items too. I will report on those when I have tried them. But, with my ratings i gave was because I don't know much about Filipino food and when she asked me what sides I want I had no other choice but to choose what was on the menu choice. The atmosphere when you walk inside is extremely relaxed and homely there are two nice women that greet you when you walk in and take your order...the food was prepared in front of me and was extremely fresh and full of flavor. This is a small place with a few Filipino items on the menu. Food here was pretty yummy and as we were the only ones eating at the time, we got our food pretty quickly. We enjoyed the Filipino news on the television while we waited for our food. Our son enjoyed lumpia for the first time. The one oddity that should be noted is that although we were dining in, the food was served in styrofoam containers with plastic-ware. I asked for a couple plates and we got styrofoam plates. This place is SO BOMB! I am all for supporting a local business especially the type of food my Mom would make growing up. This is such a place. My food came to me steaming hot and fresh. Everything was great. The lumpia, the tasty BBQ sticks (BEST BBQ STICKS I HAVE EVER HAD) and the pancit was mad delicious. I understand different Filipinos are use to different variations with certain dishes but this place serves the staples and it's very good. The restaurant is clean, the service is very friendly and comforting. The very nice ladies who work here remind me of very friendly Filipino Aunts. And it's very chill status to watch The Filipino Channel while eating your food. I am definitely going to be going here regularly from now on.
