I tried putting the soy sauce mixture on top but that didn't even help. The worst part was that we waited a really long time for our food. Numbers were called out of order and other people waiting for their food were looking around to see if others were waiting too. My husband ordered first at Naynay's and then went over to another truck to order Korean tacos. The tacos were ready super fast and we were trying to eat all the food together but while waiting for Naynay's the tacos started getting cold so we ended up eating them and even then we still waited quite a while before our food from Naynay's was done. My favorite is the pork or shrimp, which I believe have superior flavor. Just as with everywhere else, prices have skyrocketed, reducing our ability to frequent Jowli's. Goods in Madera. My mom is from the Philippines and often misses home food. I got the sisig fries, and my mom got the IDK plate. They let us sub out the pork lumpia for an extra vegetable lumpia, which was nice. My mom loved the food and said it tasted like hers. I agreed with hers after taking a bite. My sisig fries were loaded and very filling--I only ended up eating half the box. I love the attention to detail--the fried egg, the mayo, the furikake, and the calamansi--everything was perfect together. The food truck itself is covered in stickers and also has fruit juices and Filipino snacks that we enjoyed seeing. I love the decorations/designs on the truck as well.
