My grandmother paid for my movers and from terrible service to down right arguments about my furniture being dropped and scratched (which the insurance pays for anyway) it wasn't a pleased experience it felt like I hired college students of the street and when I asked for a claim to be but in the associate proceeded to tell me my furniture was already in that condition which it was not the point of going with this company was bc the insurance and that's all I have good to say about them THEY ONLY HAVE INSURANCE. Applied for a quote. They sent a spreadsheet for me to complete with the items I needed moved. I completed the spreadsheet and sent it back that day. Never got a response. Over the next six days I called six times with no answer. I gave one last call and finally got an answer, only for them to tell me that my requested moving day was now booked. In efforts to make our moving experience not as horrible as the last 2 times, my husband & I decided to hire professional movers this past October. So happy & relieved we went with Two Men & A Truck! We ended up using 2 trucks & four guys for about 8 hours. Each of the movers were great, so pleasant to work with & very polite. All of our belongings were treated with care & they even assisted in putting our (new) bed frame together. We are not planning on moving ever again (fingers crossed) but we always make a point to recommend Two Men & A Truck. read more

Moving is one of the worst things one can do in their adult life. All that packing and renting moving equipment and carrying heavy stuff up and down stairs. Never again. Finally rolled the dice and hired professional movers and it was a great idea. They sent three guys over, dismantled things like doors and beds, loaded them in the truck and off they went. Arriving at our new home they reversed the process quickly. And they came in under the estimate, so bonus! Not planning on ever moving again, but if we do, definitely hiring Two Men and a Truck again. read more

My parents recently downsized from their home in Westlake to an independent living facility. My mom is 76 and her mental health is good but she has cancer for 5 years. She took out $3,000 in cash a few days before the move. She had the cash in a clear quart sized baggie with some gift cards. It was to be deposited when they moved to a bank closer to them. It was in a zipped purse on the washer and my parents were home. 5 movers moved them starting at 8:30. When they arrived at the new apartment she opened her purse and all the cash and gift cards were missing. No one else was in the house but my parents, brother and the movers. She is distraught over this event. She didn't work so it was gift money saved over many years. She said she is 100% sure the movers stole it. My mom has brain cancer and severe migraines so I am helping her out. She said she lost faith in humanity, how very sad. I hope something can be done to rectify the situation. read more

I used Two Men And A Truck for my move from Columbus to Cleveland, and I wouldn't recommend them. The two movers they sent were friendly enough, but I didn't get the sense that they were very experienced. The move took two hours longer than their estimate, so I got stuck with a much bigger bill. Also, the movers got lost several times, which added to the time. I used Lupica Movers the last two times I moved, and they were much better! read more

First of all they don't return phone calls I called five times prior to and during the move never received one phone call back one of the workers started in the argument with me. Then they charged me $3,000 to move a half hour away because they said they had to call in another truck and it would be cheaper on me cheaper what a joke. read more

If I could give - stars... I would! So AWFUL... and the WORST customer service experience ever! Personally experienced a full circle of negative attitudes, complete laziness, excuses and lies. The situation was basically two men and a truck showing up to do a move out... and one of the two movers refused to complete... rather, even start, the job...because one of their people off. He said multiple times that they were trying to get someone to come out and help... THERE WERE TWO OF THEM! This was a 1000 sq ft apartment that would have taken then less time to do, that it took them to be standing around for two hours. He made some excuse that he felt it was too dangerous moving 5 ft across a one lane road, than was practically on a corner... so no cars could have been speeding. If the person on the other end of the phone was actually there and saw the situation, they would have laughed and made them do the job! So, I was not the person, luckily, that this happened too.. but I was involved in trying to assist and help...along with the building management who bent over backwards offering to stand there and conduct the "traffic" that was maybe two cars turning into a parking garage... Also, there was a professional security guard who was going to help as well... even though all of that was not even needed! This person was just completely lazy, rude, and deceitful to their direct management. He called his general manager and gave some exaggerated depiction of what the road looked like saying he felt unsafe and refused to do the job. then they packed up and left. The managers of the building will no longer refer any of their other tenants to this company. They are actually telling people that ask for moving company referrals, this this story so that they do not have to experience the same situation...and lack of customer service, which was unbelievably stressful. And explain how every other move-in/ move out worked? This is how the building does these things, there was nothing unsafe or abnormal about the process.. clearly if everyone else's movers are just fine completing a simple move. Even after the building property manager called and spoke to the general manger of this location two men and a truck, there was never any follow up, or apology, or reasoning for how they could just show up and walk off a job because they were short staffed. The attitude of the one mover was disgusting and rude, this company should not have someone like him associated with their business, because now they just lost A LOT of future revenue. I hope that this review will save someone the stressful argument, waste of time and money, that this costed to be left hanging to find a moving company on the same day. Don't risk it! If they walked off this job... they will do it again! I highly recommend the College Hunks! So impressed from start to finish! Their customer service is on a luxury level compared to this company... and they went above and beyond to provide the best experience, which apparently TM&AT does not know how to do. read more

I used this company on Saturday to move to Tremont. I did originally think that they were a bit too expensive, but the service was good. The guys were friendly, showed up on time, and did the job easily. They also took apart my bed and set it back up. I would recommend this company. My only complaint was that I wish they would have able to arrive earlier in the day. The only time they had when I called was later Saturday afternoon. read more

I've used this company a few times and always the guys are courteous and helpful. So worth the $ to have someone move your stuff for you. Be aware there are a few things that they just do not move (plants, the lightbulbs from lamps, glass plates from tables/shelves). But if I ever move again (which I hope not to) I would absolutely use this company again. read more

Professional, Friendly & easy to work with. Showed up exactly on time, called in advance to confirm all the arrangements, were reasonably priced, moved quickly. They took care to keep the house clean even though it was snowing, and made sure we were completely satisfied before leaving. I just wish I has asked them to move everything instead of trying to move so many boxes myself. read more

I had the best 3 movers I could ask for. Jesse, Drew and Antonio were on time, worked tirelessly and efficiently, and were fun to work with. They took care of my furniture, covered everything and were happy to move things around and even gave me suggestions on how the room would look best. They had me out and in under the estimated time of 4 hours. I am so thankful I decided to have movers and this company would be my #1 place to call if I ever had to move again. (Perish that thought!!) The rates were fair, they told me up front what the estimate would be, called to confirm my move and sent out the best 3 guys for the job!! The corporate office contacted me about my review in under an hour after my review. They offered to repair the damaged walls and offered a partial refund. This was greatly appreciated and shows Two Men does care what their customers think. I'm only giving 2 stars as the movers, who play the biggest role in your experience, were sub par. I'll say it again the office staff and the corporate office are great. I still will not use two men and a truck again. read more

Now let me say right out of the gate that this review is to praise Two Men and a Truck. Moving is a nightmare, no matter how you slice it. You always think you're prepared- you never are. And there are always these same two types of men that show up- one is ready to go, and the other is sure it can't be done, and thinks you should reschedule. It doesn't matter who shows up, those two types make up the pair.I don't fault these guys in the least. It was a 90 degree day, and I didn't want to do it either. Thankfully, Brenda, talked some sense into Reluctant, and once we got going, things went on without a hitch. They came in nearly an hour under their estimate, and nothing major has been damaged, lost or broken. (Not by them, anyway.) And my movers turned out to be really pleasant and capable guys, in spite of the heat. This is the forth time I've used TMAAT, and hopefully the last. Not because of anything they did- but because moving is so awful that if I ever do it again, I'm pushing everything to the curb and setting it all on fire. I can't go through this again. read more

Not impressed. The moving teams are slow and don't provide the greatest customer service. Upper management is much better, and if you complain they'll try really hard to make things right. But still, there's something to be said for not having call managers with a bunch of complaints in the first place. They seriously need to retrain their entry-level staff. read more

I used 2 Men and a Truck moving company last August. It was one of the worst experiences I've had. The 2 guys they sent complained the entire time and told me that the estimator should have had 3 guys move my stuff. It really made me nervous. i offered to help them move some of the items because I felt really bad. And I paid a lot for them to do it. I recently used Two Men and a Truck in Cleveland. I thought I could get a couple of buddies to help me move but at the last minute I was left high and Dry. I called on Wednesday and I was pleasantly surprised that they could fit me in on Saturday. The actual cost of my move was less than the estimate and the movers were highly professional and careful. I didn't realize that moving companies were on Yelp, but now that I know, I can give my review. This is the second time I used TMAAT. The first experience was sublime. Great movers, a group of kids, good office staff, efficient, and honest. This second time, however, I had a completely different experience. The movers were lazy, argumentative, complained about each other (to a customer!), and took way too long to move my things approximately 3 blocks away. They sent three guys, but I barely saw two of them. When I did, they were standing by the truck talking on their phones. It took way too long to load up the truck. They were unknowledgeable about how to move a couch into a doorway, even after being advised on how to do it. Cannot believe that I am the only person to have a couch in this apartment! Be that as it may, I feel that this team gouged me out of extra money by taking their sweet old time and generally being too inexperienced, so I wound up paying for that. When they finally left, I called the office in tears. I spoke to the guy who coordinated my move (Jesse) to tell him what had occurred. He listened and said that he'd do something about it. I never heard from him again. I emailed several times, but received no response. I talked a couple of people out of using them, and I will never use them again. They have figured out how to get the most money out of people by using inexperienced movers who are way too slow. read more

I have not used two men and a truck but my experience with them was very unpleasant. The apartment building next to mines shares a driveway with us and the movers parked the truck in the driveway. Blocking the only exit and entrance. One of the movers saw me in my car and kept waking. After getting out of my car and telling them to move they did move their truck. I then came back 20 mins later and they were again blocking the driveway. I had to call the police one them. The driver I talked to wasn't even apologetic. When i called the company to complain about their drivers I left a voice mail but no one ever called me back. The movers were simply being lazy and did not want to park the truck further read more
