The move went well. There were 3 guys and they came prepared and well equipped. They did a nice job loading and unloading. I communicated with the owner Mike about scheduling and although we found a common time and date that worked for the both of us I felt communication could have been a little better like a follow up call to confirm the date & time closer to the move date and more info after booking the move etc.. After the move was done I had one part of my sectional couch that couldn't be carried in via the stairwell because it was too large. Jason the son of the owner let me know he could hoist it up my balcony on the 3rd floor but would have to come back since he'd need more guys and he needed different equipment which was fine with me. He was nice enough to wrap my couch with plastic since it was going in my garage. Jason told me he'd let me know what date and time would work best since he had to check his schedule. Reached out to him the next day and was told the same thing. I felt I was kind of being given the run around since they already got my $450 so I hired another company for the hoist who did amazing. This company Accurate Moves is still a great company none of my items were damaged or broken but I would have wished they used furniture pads on my white couch since they had about 20 of them in their truck. Experienced, careful, efficient, kind, clean and fairly priced. highly recommend. We needed to move most of our three bedroom home contents into storage as we consolidated two households. Compass Storage referred us to Mike. I can't say better things about our experience. Mike toured the house at our agreed to time, provided a reasonable quote the next morning that met our expectations, and scheduled us for the following week - well within our time of need but also far enough out for us to take many things to the other house before he and his team arrived. On move morning, Mike and his crew were there on time ready to go to work. Mike was hands on and he and his whole team were conscientious about being clean and careful not to scratch or damage our things in the move. There were a couple items that were too big for us to move to the other house ourselves and Mike had already had that planned out to pack those items last and drop them in their designated spots in our other house. They then proceeded to the Storage facility and expertly packed our unit to fit the whole contents in one space. Pack, drop off and unpack all completed before 4pm. Half the price of other movers and very professional and accommodating. I had 4 quotes for a move in the Cleveland area and Accurate Moves by Mike came in at less than half the price of other companies. I changed the original list of items a few times and Mike was more than accommodating, even keeping the original quote. He was also happy to switch dates at the last minute when I decided I preferred a morning moving slot. The two movers, Jason and Scott showed up right on the dot, were mindful to lay down runners in the house to keep it clean, and were super careful with the furniture and walls. They were efficient, finishing the move in just over 3 hours and even helped me assemble a few items and set up my TV, and take the drop cloths off items I had in storage. They asked me multiple times if I was sure that I had everything in the right room before they left to ensure I didn't have to haul anything up the stairs myself. They were both very friendly and courteous and made the move very low key and low-stress. I would 100% recommend Accurate Moves by Mike to anyone looking for a moving company in NE Ohio. Two great reviews in one post: Mike and his crew helped move me into a house in Ohio City in July 2014. Had my belongings and furniture for a 1-bedroom in storage when I got to Cleveland, so he quickly and safely packed my stuff in his truck, then got everything up two stories to my top floor loft in OC. Called on a Friday afternoon and he moved me that Sunday for a GREAT price. Just had a new job opportunity in May 2015 that suddenly shortened my stint in Cleveland. Was able to sell my furniture, but while trying to get my ridiculously heavy couch out to a buyer, I could only make it down one flight of steps. I called Mike, and within 20 minutes two of his guys came to my house and got the couch out, then helped me load the rest of my belongings into my moving van, packing it as tight as could be. Zero notice, and his two guys were as nice as could be on a Friday night, again for a GREAT price. I absolutely lucked out calling this guy first and having two incredible experiences, but I think it's safe to say you won't find anyone in Cleveland who is better in any facet. I made my third move in 14 months, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience than was provided by this service. Not only was it the most reasonable quote I received, but I was also sent a three-person team to execute the move (previously only two people had moved my items). The three-person crew was absolutely outstanding. They were extremely friendly, very careful with my items, and moved everything quickly and efficiently, despite a very long hallway to navigate on my floor of the apartment building. The entire operation was highly professional and they were incredibly respectful, especially when setting up my new apartment. It was a wonderful and stress-free experience. As a final note: one of my biggest priorities was to find a moving company that would be willing to dismount my large living room TV as part of the move, and Mike's was the only service that would agree to a simple TV dismount. It's a small detail, but it is, to me, representative of the service oriented approach that Mike has instilled throughout his company. Just had my move done from Fairview to Lorain Ohio. The whole transaction was smooth. Mike gave me an immediate reasonable price quote. There was no $200 spread like other places would quote. He knew the amt of time and quoted a better price than most. only one matched but other put a possible extra charge warning...Mike did not. His price was set and very fair. He was also able to do it sooner than others in my 10 day span. He didn't try to price higher like 2 others in short time frame. His honesty, fairness, + word is very good ....a pleasurable experience. On move day, Jason and Scott called to say they were on way and arrived within minutes of estimated time given by Mike days earlier. Both men were quick and professional. The job was done with time to spare. And, even if it did take longer I had peace of mind from a set fair price by Mike. If I ever have to move again I'll call earlier to make sure I have them do the move. This family team is well worth trusting to do the job well and at a fair price. Impressed again! Mike and his crew managed a complicated long haul - from Cleveland to the Boston area, 2 different apartments with tough timing - and they did a terrific job. Back in winter (sorry for the late review) they loaded 2 apartments in Cleveland, were on time on both of them and loaded the truck quick and efficient. Prior to the move Mike provided packing material and an ample amount of boxes. They handled all the complications of bulky furniture, narrow corners and time pressure with greatest care and success. The crew was friendly and professional, they knew what they were doing. Full-time movers, no cheap extras. After a night-long ride through wintery roads they arrived on time in Boston the next day and unloaded with the same efficiency and professionalism as experienced before. Pricing was reasonable and beat the competitors. Overall we could not have asked for more - this was a perfect job and we have to thank Mike for making the strenuous time of moving so much more easy and enjoyable. I've done a lot of moves over the years, in the States and internationally, including with major moving companies. Hands down, Accurate Moves by Mike gave me the easiest move ever. Mike, Scott, and Jason were friendly, professional, and skilled. It's the only move where I've had no damage to anything. It is clear that they KNOW furniture. I've got a lot of antiques and they knew just how each piece needed to be moved and protected. They were so careful, using lots of padding, and were especially attentive to being careful with the boxes of the most fragile things, like crystal and china. They were also astonishingly quick -- we had the move done in 4 1/2 hours (which included a 1 1/2 hour drive to PA). I was impressed at how they set up runners to keep snow/dirt off the carpets of my new place too. It was the sort of attention to detail that is rare. And, they all had a sense of humor about their work -- it was the first time I actually enjoyed moving. At first I thought the quote a tad high, but in the end they were worth every penny. read more

My husband and I were planning on moving out of our two-bedroom apartment ourselves, but we decided to splurge on hiring movers due to various factors after much deliberation. My husband couldn't stop saying "I'm so glad we hired these guys" all day! We had a startling amount of furniture and heavy items in what seemed like a small space, but it seemed like it was nothing for Mike and Jason. It would have taken us weeks to move ourselves. They were professional, had the proper equipment to not only move all of our stuff, but also not to track snow/water into our apartment or house the weekend of that first snow storm we had, and they were fun to be around! They had no issues taking doors out to accommodate moving large items through tight spaces, and they only took a few hours. I used Mike's team for an apartment-apartment move about 2 weeks ago and couldn't have asked for a better experience! First off, speaking with Mike and completing the online request form on the website made scheduling my move quick and easy. I received a great quote in less than 3 hours. Other companies I inquired with were at least 60% more expensive, with less fantastic reviews, and took 24-48 hours to respond to a quote request. From this alone, I figured the service would be great! When I got to the week of my move, Mike called me 2 days prior to confirm the day, time, and all details. I found Accurate Moves here on Yelp and decided to give them a try because of all the great reviews. I filled out the questionnaire and received a quote quickly. The appointment was super easy to set up too. Brandon and Justin were the movers that came that day, and they kept me posted on their arrival time. I ended up having many more boxes than I was originally quoted for, but they worked with me no problem, and easily & fairly adjusted the price. The guys were super friendly and moved all my items quickly and with care. The apartment I was moving out of was a 2nd floor walk up with steep stairs, but they got everything down no problem - much easier than when friends first helped me move in. Accurate Moves by Mike moved my son on Nov 27th-29th, from his apartment in Willoughby, Oh to Miami Lakes, Florida. There was a snow storm the day before the move. They were on time, polite and thorough. My husband, son and myself had everything packed and ready for them when they arrived. They had to lift a large couch off a second story balcony, (since it wouldn't fit through the door), they did so without a hitch. They delivered his washer and dryer to my home in Medina, again without a hitch. Once they reached the Florida destination, they had to carry all his items up three stories to his new apartment. They carried all his items up those steps, and set up his furniture to his specifications, without a complaint or a hitch. I would highly recommend this company for your next move. Last weekend Mike and his crew packed up two homes into two large moving trucks and transferred all of our belongings about four hours south. I highly recommend their professionalism, experience level, and efficiency. The way that they looked after the house during the move-in was excellent.
