The movers Tony and James arrived on time! They walked through and observed what I wanted to be moved to my new location. They wrapped and took care of all of my furniture and made sure everything was padded and moved safely. They arrived at the new location and carefully placed all my furniture in the designated rooms and put together the large sectional in the living room. They didn't once complain. AVOID THIS COMPANY OR IT WILL COST YOU! What should have been a straightforward one-day move turned into an absolute nightmare of broken promises, surprise charges, and a stunning lack of accountability. We were quoted $3,400 for a one-day move with two large trucks and a four-man crew--based on an in-person walk-through. Instead, they showed up with one truck and only two movers, who then had to call their management for help. Later, a 3rd person arrived with a small truck. Because of the company's inadequate resources--not ours--the job dragged into a second day. When I was notified of this by management mid-move, I clearly stated that this was unacceptable and that no additional charges would be tolerated. At the end of Day 1, they charged us $5,300--nearly $2K over the estimate. On Day 2, the crew abandoned the job and left behind multiple clearly labeled items. We were forced to rent a U-Haul and finish the move ourselves--at our own expense. Then came the final blow: they charged our credit card an additional $1,300 without authorization, notice, or explanation. When we repeatedly contacted management to resolve the issue, they dismissed our concerns. Their only excuse? "The estimate was off." The gap between the estimate and the final price is staggering. Is this incompetence--or is it their business model? Two Men and A Truck overpromises, underdelivers, and then CHARGES YOU FOR THEIR MISTAKES. Tell your trucks not to park on the street causing dangerous conditions for ALL other motorists! As your employees got out and spoke with the homeowner and got their situation figured out the rest of us had to drive in the on-coming traffic lane and pray we didn't get into a head on collision especially since the truck stopped ON A HILL. Next time if you can't figure out where to park your truck in 60 seconds or less (I was stuck for more than 5 minutes) move along to a safe spot and contact the homeowner and coordinate OFF SITE! **** DO NOT USE **** *** Realtors take note DO NOT RECOMMEND *** We used the location out of Raleigh - not flexible--told them at the beginning of the move we want to complete the move in one day, personnel argued with us and no effort was made to obtain simple tools. !!! had bad attitudes, and even told us "you're gonna pay" when I gave them a heads up about a tight stairwell - no protection placed on floors, hence the damage - moving personnel reeked of pot - smashed their hand truck on the landings of both residences requiring repair. - broke a number of our rare China pieces with improper packing and the movers "slamming" the boxes with their hand car !!! Moving personnel actually blamed us for the China breakage when we were both watching him pack it. !!!!! We watched them slam the boxes, yet when taking to "Shannon" regarding the claim she said "Oh God" in sarcastic tone, and was arguing with me about the claim. - didn't bag our mattress and left it in the garage on the floor! Tried to skip out without moving it to the Master bedroom - manager even exclaimed "your feedback will help my business" and still not so willing to replace damaged China. Puts on a good 'game face', yet "ghosts" us when it's time to own up. Losses were several hundred dollars. !!!! Worst of all the movers - Our TV was destroyed - Our refrigerator, we asked to keep them doors open in their storage to avoid Mold and it was all mold as they didn't we have to throw it away - Our bed they misplaced the bolts and we have to scramble outside help to get it fixed. read more

Our move on 7/29 from Ocala, FL to Clayton, NC (to the warehouse first for a month) was miserable. We have no complaints with the 2 people who unpacked the truck from the warehouse into our home in NC; however, the 5 men who packed us in Ocala on 7/29/24 were horrible! They actually packed our large china hutch with the glass shelves and china still inside! They packed a Denon receiver partially in a box with tape around it. They packed our kitchen silverware in a box and marked it "Garage," making it impossible to find for over a week! They packed several pieces of artwork with no wrapping or buffer between the pieces in a cardboard box, causing damage to the frames! They treated our belongings like garbage. They even told us they were in a hurry later in the day because they had things to do! We will NEVER recommend Two Men and A Truck for an interstate move or any other move, for that matter. Out of 10 professional moves in the last 20 years, I've never encountered such poor management, poor handling of my furniture and personal belongings, poor customer service, inflated billing and unbelievable run around. Setting up the move was a breeze. Office team was very professional. Movers arrived on time, but smoked Marijuana on the job and my entire apartment smelled of it. It took 9 hours for a 2-bedroom move and they tried to charge me for the two hour lunch break they took as well. The attempted to charge double what I was quoted after smoking around my two 5-year old sons. They were friendly and maybe a little too relaxed. They moved one box at a time, instead of using a hand truck to do multiples. They also put all the boxes in my garage instead of moving them to the correct rooms (a situation I only allowed because we were going on 9+ hours by that point). Office staff is attempting to make it right, but I honestly feel like I should not be charged at all. Will not use again. I know some people have had good experiences with them (including immediate family) but this was just not good. On the plus side, none of my stuff was damaged. I just can't get over the time it took and more importantly, smoking weed on the job. read more

Don't use these movers! I should have looked at Yelp first, but the organizer I hired swore by them and they gave me a quote that was substantially lower than other companies. Lots of marijuana smell throughout the day. One of them cut himself and left blood all over the carpet, no mention that it was their responsibility to clean it up. Like all shady movers, they charged 30% more. When I objected, I was told a manager would call back. He never called. They charged my card for the full charge anyway. read more

I should of known the shady people I was dealing with when they showed up reeking of Marijuana from the truck to my doorstep. Then misinformed me of the documents I was signing. They denied our claim for damage I watched them cause. The fridge and floor were the only things reported as I watched them destroy both myself. I didn't report the fact they scrapped about every wall they went past. Then they couldn't even get our bed to the bedroom. Then they had the audacity to give me a card to hire them privately to move the bed where it needed to be. They also didn't even move a bookcase I pointed out them twice. We moved with Two Men and a Truck the middle of January 2020. One of the guys not authorized to drive the truck ran through our neighbor's yard causing deep ruts and breaking two of their sprinklers. He ran over our septic connection at the street costing us $3600 in repairs. We have not been compensated and the neighbor's sprinklers have never been replaced. read more

They destroyed the knob of our washing machine, the wall from our townhouse coming from the 2nd floor was damaged, our brand new house vinyl floor in the washer was ripped, one of the cabinet drawers was cracked, he connected the hose of the washer and if my husband didn't check that night, we will have water all over our brand new house and forgot a lot of stuff and the next day we were the one who moved them. He rushed me to sign on the paper works. We had a nightmare from this company. The operations manager I spoke to, apologized to me and I accepted it. She said that she will send me an email and that was last week, and until now i have not received that email for the claims. I reached out to the office the day of my move to see if movers would call prior to arrival. I received a call back after the scheduled time of my move and was informed they had no gas for the truck, but had some guys who could come later in the day. So, I agreed not really having a choice since it was move day. 45 min later I received a call and was told the men were on the way. I waited over an hour for the movers and reached back out to the manager. A few minutes later the driver called to say there was a mix up in my paper work but they would be to my location in 35 min. Needless to say the. Movers were late by 3 hours. Move was a night mare. My washer was scratched all on front of machine, my tv was cracked.My king mattress was folded in half and I was told oh it won't hurt the mattress. Movers left my house and didn't say they were finished or did I need anything. I went downstairs to get something and realized movers were gone and my front door standing wide open. I called the office and the gentleman told me his guys were almost done and I informed him NO! They just drove down the road leaving my things on the front lawn. I have moved several times and have never experienced this. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Unprofessional, and your pretty much SOL with replacement of damaged goods. read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! I had the Holly Springs location of Two Men and a Truck move some items for me on 7/15 and significant damage was done to some of them. I paid extra for the upgraded full coverage insurance. It's now been almost 3 weeks - I've called and emailed them numerous times following up and just now received a call today offering me $150 in compensation for a mattress that got ripped open, a dresser that was badly dinged, a couch that was scraped and a headboard that was split. The only thing they actually offered to send someone out to repair was the full leather couch. To top that off, when I called earlier this week to follow up the receptionist thought she put me on hold but pressed the wrong button and I then heard her say "I'm so sick of getting bi*ched at because nobody can do their job". When I asked if she knew I could hear her she said "OMG I'm so sorry". Truly amazing. Worst moving company ever and worst customer service ever!! read more
