I did some research and although they are not the cheapest in the area, they are also not the most expensive. Pros: -Tazon (Tazin?) was our team leader today, and he and his moving partner were great. My walls at my old place and the walls at the new place all still look good. They were very efficient, the entire move only took about 2 hours. -White Star is very easy to contact via email or phone, I used both to communicate with them. Cons: -I was told that I could put my preference for an 11:00 a.m. move. On Friday, I was told I had been assigned the 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. slot. I had my mom call to see if we could secure 9:00 a.m. instead, and they agreed... Unfortunately today the moving crew showed up at 8:00 a.m. However, White Star agreed not to charge me for the 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. hour. -Something I didn't know is that the minimum you can reserve is three hours, they call it a 3-hour mini move. So even though the job only took two hours, I was billed for three. I was fine with that because that was the amount I had been quoted, but no one had mentioned it was a "mini move," so I thought that was careless on their part. Tazon/Tazin said that this happens a lot and sometimes he gets pushed back from customers about it, I definitely understood it was not their fault but corporate needs to communicate that with clients such as myself beforehand. -They do take credit cards but there is a 3% fee, so I opted to pay with a check instead. However, because the movers themselves were so great, this is still a four-star review from me instead of a three-star, and I would use White Star again.

With plans that changed drastically over the course of several hours, I my moving date changed from "a month from now" to "3 days from now." I had been in contact with Professional Movers as soon as I knew I was moving, and they were somehow able to magically accommodate my schedule change. Each and every team member, from the email inquiries to phone calls to project manager to movers, treated me with the utmost respect, and a cool-and-collected sense of urgency. Moving Day was of course laden with torrential rain from dawn 'til dusk, but that didn't hinder the team of movers in the least. My old home (as in, "built in the 1920's") was somewhat of a logistical nightmare due to outdated ergonomics, tight turns and treacherously steep stairwells, but the team came in undaunted and figured out the move, item by item. They had every right to be frustrated/peeved by the totality of the situation, but nobody displayed anything but positivity, confidence and "get-sh*t-doneness." The crew was super fast and efficient, and nothing but friendly and conversational the entire time. They took great care to protect my home and belongings from bumps, dings, foot traffic and elements. The day was long and exhausting for everybody involved, but the team remained pros throughout and made sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it in my new home. I'm so happy that my stuff got moved, but even happier by the level of service provided by the entire Professional Movers staff. Moving is always stressful. They offered me a larger crew and more flat rate time for less money than any other movers I talked to, and I talked to just about all of them in the area. Come moving day, I received a call from the crew to give me an ETA which was actually earlier than their promised time. They got to work right away hauling my stuff to their truck. The crew was friendly and very helpful, and in about two hours they had me loaded, moved, and unloaded. Honestly I think the move went about as smoothly as it could. I would highly recommend Juggernauts to anyone who needs a moving company.

Were they careful with our items? Yes. But...then, we had a few hiccups, of which the last was the one that would make me not recommend their services to others. Things that went wrong: 1.They arrived late. We did receive phone calls updating us, but still was frustrating as we expected to be done moving by the evening. 2. They showed up with 3 movers and we were apparently quoted for 2 movers. At no point was it asked if it was ok, or anything, and it wasn't mentioned until we were discussing payment, and Carlos told us that the discount from Angie's List included only 2 movers. 3. Carlos and his team didn't have the supplies to wrap furniture and didn't have enough moving blankets. In fact, as they unloaded the truck, I noticed that they used some of our throw blankets to protect the furniture without asking if that was ok. 4. Their truck wasn't big enough to fit all of our items in one trip. We were moving from a smaller house about 750 sq ft. We were asked over the phone how big our house was and approximately how many boxes we had. Carlos and his team made one trip with a full truck. Then we filled our cars and still had to go back the next day for the rest of our stuff. He offered that they would go make another trip for the rest of the items for the additional hourly charge. 5. Payment - this was the one that killed it for us. As others have mentioned, we were quoted an affordable price over the phone. We had a discount through Angie's List. The woman on the phone told us that we would be able to use that discount and quoted us accordingly. When all was said and done and it was time to pay, Carlos told us it was going to be $400 over what was quoted to us. We talked to him about it and he was not budging on what was quoted over the phone vs what he was charging us. We tried to negotiate since they were late and ran out of supplies at their previous job and since we had to load our cars with items and still go back for the rest. He would not compromise, and actually was upset that we were even questioning the issue. I have no problem paying for good service. I have no problem tipping for good service (I still tipped his team even though Carlos screwed us on pricing). I do have a problem with being quoted one amount and then being told to pay a DRASTICALLY DIFFERENT amount. He even had the audacity to ask us not to write a poor review. He clearly knows that what he is doing is wrong. Yes, he and his team work hard, but he should be upfront about the cost. It is not ok to quote one price and have such a large difference between your quote and actual cost. Customer service goes a long way, but he and his company certainly lacked in that area.

I hired this company on 8/13/25, and the experience was awful from start to finish. They were scheduled for 9 AM but didn't arrive until after 10. The original quote was $379 for the first two hours with two movers and $169 for each additional hour (spoke with John). Without asking me, they decided to bring a third mover, which raised the rate to $515 for the first two hours and $239 for each additional hour. Jake assured me this would save money because the move would go faster, but instead, it dragged on for seven hours just to move some furniture and boxes. To make things worse, Jake didn't even have a proper receipt--he reused an old one and scribbled over it. During the move, they dropped my couch off the truck and broke both front legs. Jake admitted it, saying, "Well, that happens. I'll come back and fix it." We paid in full immediately (they also charge extra for credit card payments), but as of 9/19/25, the couch is still broken and Jake has never come back. This company is unprofessional, careless, and dishonest. Use them at your own risk.
