They wrapped our furniture and belongings extremely well, and we didn't have a single thing damaged. They also took the time to disassemble and reassemble furniture, which was a huge help. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the whole move. The only thing I would mention is that the move took longer than we originally expected. BUT honestly, I don't really see this as a negative because it was clear that they were taking their time and doing things the right way. We've had movers in the past who rushed, cut corners, and ended up damaging things, so I would much rather have a team take a little longer and be careful with our stuff. Overall, we were really happy with Albo and would definitely recommend them. The pricing was very fair, and based on his quick response time and great reviews, I decided to hire them. I am very glad that I did. My move went extremely well. I hired 2 movers and a 20-foot truck. Eugene and Serg were great. They clearly communicated their arrival time and kept me updated via text. There were 2 pick up locations - my storage unit and my parent's house. They had everything from storage wrapped and packed into the truck in 2 hours. Then we went to my parents for a few more things, we were out of there in under an hour. They drove to Jersey City and then had the entire truck unpacked and moved in and all the packing material cleaned up in 3 hours. It was an extremely hot day and the guys worked really hard and very quickly. They moved only half of my belongings, then told me they wouldn't move the rest unless I paid the inflated amount immediately. This felt like outright blackmail during a stressful move. They said the crew spent 14 hours, while the crew came at 9:30AM and left 10PM and two hours was spent in me arguing with their manager on phone about the payment while the crew sat doing nothing. They could have fit all the stuff that needs to be moved in one trip but moved it in two trips taking more time and so that they have leverage to force me into paying to complete the move. The behavior was unprofessional, manipulative, and completely contrary to what was promised. I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to stay far away.
