Great service and great menu choices. The baby back ribs were slow roasted with an apple glaze BBQ sauce.

Well the service was efficient & friendly, the food was presented nice, & it was a clean place- so I would come again, but I would not make a special trip. They did not have gluten free options (though I was told they sometimes have gluten free buns...) & the lovely freshly cut fries were ruined by the chemically tasting table salt they heavily sprinkled on them before they made it to the table... (We had ordered a side of fries as a table appetizer... instead it came very last... after serving the 2 fish specials & my salad.... Unfortunate... but i hasten to add the good came quickly & seemed decent quality. True, i also had to wait for a to go box... but in fairness to the waiters... they seemed short staffed, & were doing their very best. I suspect in the summer the patio would be fun, or had it been dinner time... the bar/dinner area looked nice... so given the limited dining options in the area... probably one of the better choices. Accessibility Tip: note that the bathrooms r a small, odd layout... a small wheelchair could perhaps wiggle thru... w/assistance & much finessing... someone using a cane could be ok, but a walker user would need assistance per the weird bathrm configuration. The counter, sink & towels are all placed unusually high... & I did not see a step stool for use.

This is the prime rib sandwich, served at the Two Rivers Grill, Crouch, Idaho.

This is a great spot, and not what you might expect in a small town. I was here for lunch with a couple of friends. I ordered the prime rib sandwich, which ... as you can see from the image attached here ... was first cut, then grilled. The prime rib was moist, tender and tasty. Also, the thin-cut fries were quite good. A small serving of dipping sauce is also served; that was good too. [I'm adding this as an edit, a day later]: Come to think of it, the fact that the prime rib had been grilled added that certain flavor, normally associated with, say, a grilled steak. The grilling gave the diner (Moi) the best flavors of both worlds, steak and prime rib. Nicely done! I wish they delivered. (Just kidding.) We enjoyed friendly service from a very attentive, young waitress, and the owner/chef came out to say, "Hello" and ask about the food. I always think this is a nice touch for a restaurateur. It is a classy thing to do This place is a "sleeper" and I will probably not be driving through that area any time soon. However, if I do, I will be certain to go in for a meal.

Let me begin by saying one word, surprised. Amazing spot, have no complaints whatsoever. Pros: - Artichoke dip, was the best I ever had, won't regret it - The Prime rib was amazing, top snotch flavor. - Decent selection of draft beer - Ordered the cheesecake for dessert, not disappointed at all - Peaceful and quiet, perfect way to enjoy an early Saturday night dinner Cons: -Our waitress was new so she seemed a bit nervous if I had to nip pick the spot. Regardless she was extremely attentive with us

I could not have been more impressed with the food, probably the best German style Schnitzel I've ever had! The cutlet was pounded perfectly thin with a fantastic breading that was crisp and perfectly seasoned. The Spaetzle was perfect, can't wait to try the other varieties on the menu. We had Oma's almond cake, which was as light as a feather with flavors of nutmeg and cinnamon, it was perfection. Tante Emma is coming to downtown Boise this fall, and I can't wait to become on of their regulars. There are few German offerings in the Treasure Valley, and as a person of German heritage, I crave the food. I can't wait to introduce them to my in-laws who are also German. The place is cute as well, and offers great German wines and Beers. Don't miss the pretzel, it comes with three different dipping sauces and was hands down the best damn German pretzel Ive ever had, perfectly hot right out of the oven and delicious.

We didn't waste time once our food arrived as we had been camping in the area and were on our way home. Wait staff apologized after we complained but that was a bit of an issue. Unfortunately they only had 4 tables total with one that had 7 in their group. They were there when we arrived and they waited so long that I thought that were only there for drinks. Then out of the blue their food came out 45 minutes into our wait and we realized that we still had 3 tables ahead of us. We heard every table complaining about the wait. As a restaurant manager you should be staffed accordingly and if there is a wait...the customers should be given fair warning. My burger was $18 and dry as a bone even though it's American Wagyu Beef and I ordered it med rare (of course how could they remember after an hour). My wife's finger steaks $18 was doughy and undercooked. My son's fish was delicious. This is 2 rating (at best) our server apologized multiple times for the issues so even though she could have had better communication about the wait...I blame management. I added a star and tipped her appropriately. I have eaten here before and it has always been a 3 star but this was the below the bar. The deck is really cool.
