Awesome place to cool off & grab "two scoops" to beat the heat! It's your typical ice cream spot but the lines run super fast so don't let the line out the door deter you. Staff was friendly & helped out where needed. My favorite was the blueberry pie in a waffle bowl. Will return more than once if we make our way back!

I enjoyed this locally owned ice cream shop. The decor is cute and it has a nice, kind of small town feel to it. My friends and I decided to pop in here after a visit/walk on the pier. Although he was decently busy/crowded, we did not have to wait long to be served. There is seating inside. Ice cream was great! I will be back whenever I am in the area for sure!

This place had a line out the door but they did a great job at keeping the wait time low. Great location and the flavors were delicious. They were out of cookies and cream which forced me to get the gator tail but I'm glad I tried something different because it was so good.

A super cute locally owned ice cream shop. Came here on a beautiful Saturday around 1pm and it wasn't too crowded. Ice cream shop is right across the street from the pier and in a great location for walking and driving guests. Prices are reasonable and service was good!

Greatest ice cream place in the island. Super variety of ice cream and shake flavors. Stuff is super attentive and very generous in the serving sizes. Places is very cozy and quiet. Excellent options for breakfast too. Every time we come for vacations we come here every day. Great place

Two Scoops is Two Thumbs Up from this island visitor. Whether you're treating some sun-kissed toddlers after a day at the beach, or starting your day off with a fresh coffee and Belgian waffle, this place has something delicious for everyone. Their unique like Superman, Muddy Sneaker, and Trashcan are sure to delight the palate, but if you're a plain Jane ice cream snob their originals are freshly made and equally delicious. Between our family of 12 we had just about every floor, everyone exclaiming that their cone was the best they'd ever had. A few of us opted to stop in for breakfast one morning for their breakfast sandwiches and a waffle. The waffle is nothing shy from the way they're made at standard hotels, but its delightful exterior crisp and interior chewiness was exactly what our family was craving. But honestly, the real shining star here was the Two Scoops McMuffin with sausage. The sausage is not spicy at all, so share away with your little one, and every piece of the sandwich from the egg to the cheese is perfectly cooked, warmed, and melted together. All three of us inhaled our sandwiches, you will too. They do have lunch options as well, and though we didn't try any, if the rest of their menu is any indication, I'm sure the menu is fabulous. Finally, and most importantly, the staff there is incredibly friendly and helpful. Every single time we visited we were greeted warmly and helped immediately. You don't find service like this often anymore, and from a group of kids who are probably in high school, their enthusiasm, outgoing personalities, and genuinely happy dispositions rounded out the 5th star on our experience.

So many different ice cream flavors to choose from, that was the most difficult part. I ended up getting coffee flavor and chocolate Oreo. It was delicious. My friends also loved the ice cream.

Needed an ice cream by bay front park and this place was so busy the line was out the door at night post sunset so we decided to come back the next morning instead of trying to fight the crowd and it was sooo worth it. The point of contact to get very good ice cream at the City Pier. The many flavors do not make the selection easy. We had praline, caramel and raspberry sorbet. It was the most heavenly raspberry sorbet I have ever had. With a good coffee, also from there, we sat on one of the nearby park benches by the sea and enjoyed the delicious ice cream. read more

My Husband, MIL, and FIL all got the blueberry pie ice cream and they said it was the best they've ever had. They also got the raspberry pie and said it was pretty good too. The mint chocolate chip has large chocolate chunks--wish it had a little more chocolate, but overall really good ice cream. read more

Great flavors (my favorite was the toasted coconut which tasted like a coconut cream pie as ice cream), great prices, large serving sizes. All around great value for awesome quality ice cream. Staff was rude and dismissive. Seems to be run by a couple kids who don't particularly want to be there. If you're worried about COVID be aware that the employees also don't wear masks or gloves. If you're looking for a good ice cream spot go to Anna Maria Creamery and Bakery for good food + service! read more

We had eaten dinner out and didn't want to go back to our rental house quite yet. We were driving around, and decided to stop to see the pier. When we saw that Two Scoops was right there, we had to give the ice cream a try. Luckily there wasn't too long of a line, but the ice cream was so worth it! Because if the covid situation you have to order at the window so you can't see the ice cream selection other than the names on the menu. Ice cream was pretty good - just wish there was a description of what each was and the topping options. read more

I do not understand how this place is so popular given the other options on the island. It has to be location. The ice cream is not special. It is the same selection that is everywhere on AMI and near the island (Bradenton, Sarasota). Staff had an unbelievable attitude. Rude and short with people (in our party and also with other customers we observed while there). Felt very rushed, even though no one was in line behind us. Watched an employee take a tasting spoon and scoop out some ice cream to eat herself, while she was standing behind the counter, talking to other employees, in full view of all the patrons, while we were sitting and eating. Scoops were smaller than we got at other local creameries for similar price. Seating area is alright. Nice location near the pier if you want to walk around with your cone. Parking is awful (we walked). Unless you like your ice cream with a side of attitude, skip Two Scoops and head for Dips or Small Town Creamery instead. read more

I absolutely love this place. I come here all the time as I am a local however the young girl working behind the counter with blonde hair needs a major attitude adjustment. First of all she was making my milkshake extremely runny and I told her I like it on the thicker side. And she's like well we all make our milkshakes differently. I don't need a freaking lesson on how you make your milkshake I'm just telling you I like it on the thicker side. And then when I asked her for a spoon she hands me one and I said thank you and she doesn't even say you're welcome. You know usually when a customer says thank you, you should say you're welcome & smile maybe. Instead she rolled her eyes. She needs to be fired because she does not need to work here. This place is a gem on the island but with people like her it is not good for business. read more

Horrible service and attitude. Two kids working tonight were rude and disrespectful to my wife. She asked for extra malt in a milkshake and they laughed at her. After ordering several items, she asked for a bag to carry out her items and the young man told her she didn't need a bag. Ice cream and malt was below average. read more

The ice cream was so good we went two days in a row! Additionally, servers were wearing masks and gloves and enforced the mask rule for everyone who entered the building. They only let one group in at a time, so the line outside looks long, but it moves fast. My only concern would be that the people waiting outside didn't do a great job social distancing, but that is not the fault of the restaurant. read more

Their sign said they stopped serving sandwiches at 6pm so me and my siblings walked in at 5:10 really excited about some grilled cheeses. The workers very rudely said they stopped making sandwiches at 5 and refused to make them for us. That was the only reason we drove out there. Sadly, we won't be coming to this little ice cream shop anymore because of the poor service, which from looking at other reviews, isn't a rare thing here. read more

We started with the coconut shrimp. It was good. I got the hogfish with polenta. The polenta was excellent. For me the hogfish was just okay. It was very thin and the fry didn't have much flavor. We also had the shrimp and grits which was fantastic! It was super rich I am glad that we split everything. It was so interesting to have one dish that lacked flavor and the other to be bursting with so much flavor. Overall, the experience was good a little pricey but that is to be expected on the beach. I would come back and try some different options.

i went today tuesday sept 13th around 1:00pm and NO ONE WAS IN THE SHOP!!!! then after about 5 minutes the woman came in and rudley asked what i wanted...i said i want a chili dog and she stated they dont serve them. *i was wearing my we are olando shirt* and she was concentrated on trying to understand what it meant. *i felt i was being treated like a 2nd class person cause i was wearing that shirt!* i stated it says so on the menu board and she said that WE DONT SELL THEM ANYMORE! i stated ok then i would like a scoop of butter pecan. she left again! then a couple walked in, and they waited about 5 minutes before they asked is there anyone here?? i said i dont know i waited 5 minutes..then i seen her outside SMOKING with her co hort. she walked back in and went behind the counter and said what do you want? *she was very rude, so at that point i knew that i was not the only one who felt she was being rude to* they stated they want a scoop of ice cream...she reached into the cooler *wait for it* WITH OUT WASHING HER HANDS!!!!!! OMG! i could of called the health depeartment right there..but i just got up and walked out and left my ice cream that i bought there... dont these people know, about hand washing??? i could have them shut down for that i certainly will NEVER go back there..just a fair warning for anyone that think that they are a great place. i found it COLD and staff were RUDE and they dont WASH THEIR HANDS!! now i am feeling sick... read more

I'm not sure what happened to this place but it's not the same ice cream shop I used to love. We've been coming here for years but during our last trip this week to the shop the ice cream was downright awful. I had a raspberry sorbet and after 2 bites I threw it away. It tasted like nothing but pure sugar. One of my daughters had lemon sorbet and it was equally as awful with nothing but a sugar taste. I assumed maybe they didn't have good sorbets so we tried the ice cream from our group and was let down as well. Even the lady from another group sitting near us made the same statement about her ice cream. I hope they didn't change who or how they made the ice cream and it was a one time thing because I really used to love this place. read more

Ice Cream sundae was to die for! The atmosphere is fun, the customers were all smiling that I could see. Well-priced for what I received. Ice cream is delicious. Reminds me of the ice cream places that we have here at the NJ Shore, except a bit less expensive. Many flavors. Near the pier, so you can walk out to the ocean and enjoy your ice cream... Just watch for seagulls. Basically this is a little pop shop with souvenirs, tees, and candies. Two Scoops also offers food, but I didn't try the hot food, or salad options. Two Scoops on Anna Maria Island is a cozy spot with good service, as there was plenty of staff, and they were friendly and efficient. However, only one of the freezers was working, which limited the selection of flavors available. Despite the lack of variety, the ice cream I had was well-prepared, with a nice balance of texture and sweetness. Overall, I'd rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars due to the limited flavor options, but the service definitely deserves a 4 out of 5 for the quick and pleasant experience. read more

There are several good ice cream places on AMI, and I found this one to be pretty good - I'd come here again, though it's not my #1 favorite. They had a decent variety of flavors, and all of us thought it was good ice cream - not made on premises, but nearby, and brought into the store daily. Two Scoops was good, but didn't amaze me enough for the 5 star rating. read more

This young man discriminated against me by telling me they didn't give samples. One of the other assistants gave the man behind me a sample. Later this young man have the white girl a sample. His action embarrassed me in front of my visitors from California. I think he needs some serious customer service training. read more

Nothing better than a good ice cream after a great dinner. We drove by this ice cream store and stop to have some ice cream for our daughter. Well the reality is that the ice cream is so good that we all ended up with one. Great finding! read more
