Super cute small batch bakery with friendly service. Because they make small batches you gotta get there early/put in your order online first thing in the morning! I am not sure if the online ordering is a response to COVID19 or if it was always a service provided. I had only been to Two Sticks once before covid, but have had good luck ordering online twice now since. They are selling out super quick with everyone jumping on online orders, so even if you start your order right when they open up online (7:30am), they might sell out before you check out -- I'm glad they are getting so much business!! I love the vegan chocolate chip cookies, scones, and every seed focaccia bread, but I'm guessing it's hard to go wrong when you order. The cookies are loaded with chocolate, which I love - but if that's not your thing their menu has a lot of other delicious items to choose from. It seems like there are some base menu items sprinkled in with daily changes/specials. I did get a cinnamon roll, an item that is often/always(?) on the menu, for a friend and tried it. It was not my favorite - it's pretty dense with super thick cream cheese icing. If you order a latte online they will wait till you come to pick up to start making it, so it's hot and fresh - but make sure you allot for that when you pick up. Hey BTown!!! There's an adorable bakery in town!! Guess it's been here for over a year, yet... I didn't know!! And, I'm sad to say, I just tried it for the first time today!! Happy to say, it is adorable!!! Quarrymen coffee, hot or cold! Serving Oatmilk as an option for milks. If it takes butter, it's possibly on the menu for a bakery good! I arrived around noon on a Sunday, they close at 2pm, on Sundays. The options were limited, yet still so many beautiful pastry's to choose from: Cinnamon rolls, cookies, the true to previous posts: awesome pecan bars, focaccia, and chocolate cake; and coffee, chai, hot tea and more. The space was located off the beaten path enough, and set off the street, I wouldn't have noticed it on a routine around town bee-bopping day. The inside was small, a cute little display/counter with an easy look onto what was for choosing. Small inside, not much room to sit yet I imagine on a nice weather day, the outside would offer a nice place to lounge. Two Sticks ... of what?... I wondered. Butter!! Two sticks of butter!! If you are looking for a new place to explore in Bloomington that is a bit off the beaten path, this ideal. It is small and intimate, which is great! There are a few places to park! The customer service is great and establishment is very clean. Prices are reasonable! If you have a nut allergy I would err on the side of caution. There are a few items that are nut free. I would just ask about cross contamination. I wish I had taken pictures of the cinnamon roll and every seed scone we bought, but we enjoyed them so much that we devoured every bite (with a smile). read more

Very helpful and kind workers. When I went the selection was small but I went on a Saturday at 1pm and it was explained that the selection is often pretty picked over on Saturday afternoons, which is reasonable since they want to sell out each day. I had a peanut butter brownie which was chewy and fudgy and delicious and a gingerbread shortie which was probably the best expresso drink I've had in a few years. I'll be back! read more

First visit to Two Sticks happened yesterday. There are only two parking spots, but by Jove at 11:45 on a Friday I managed to grab one. This bakery is contemporary and well organized. The young man working was friendly. I'd hoped to buy a cherry birthday pie, but learned although that is not a daily offering, it can be special ordered. Not wanting to leave without trying something, I ordered a cinnamon roll,a cream cheese chive scone and a cup of coffee to go. The scone was mouthwateringly excellent. Saving the cinnamon roll for later...it'beautiful to see. The coffee was hearty served black. My bill was around 8 dollars. Wish I'd taken a photo of that scone before I ate it. I love this cute business. It's a nice walk from my residence. The lattes are great but I wish they toned down the cardamom a notch-that's just personal preference. The deserts are drool-worthy. Best bakery and coffee place in town hands down. They use high quality ingredients and it shows. Everything is always freshly made (watch out because stuff can sell out!) and the portion sizes are generous. They offer a couple of vegan and/or gluten free options as well, which are delicious. Their oat milk lattes are so creamy (i.e. they have the consistency and taste of a proper latte, unlike some non-dairy options that can be watery and not that tasty) and they have a vegan, gluten-free, oatmeal chocolate chip cookie that is to die for. So chocolately and gooey - better than a lot of regular chocolate chip cookies I've had. The staff are super friendly and obviously have a lot of passion for their work. Seating is limited, so it's more of a take-away place, but they do have a few spots indoors and an cute outdoor patio as well. I highly recommend! read more

Just tried this place and it was great! Got my husband a pecan bar and I tried the day old gluten free, vegan cookie. Hubby said the pecan bar was really good (he's a pecan pie expert). My wife and I are here about once a week and typically eat something in and take something home as well. It's also one of the places that we feel the need to bring visitors to. We have enjoyed everything we have had. I tend to like more savory items, so i typically get a focaccia or savory scone. The everyseed scone is outrageously good. My wife has ordered almost every sweet thing they make and loves all of them! She really likes the chocolate danish and the peanut butter slab pie. If ordering a cake, they do such a good job. I got a tres leches for my birthday this year and I'm not sure I will be satisfied with anything else for my future birthdays! Also, staff is incredibly friendly.
