Let me be very clear: the drive was 100% worth it. From the moment we arrived, the entire experience felt elevated. The seating, the staff, the food, the live pianist, the atmosphere, even the other guests -- everything worked together to create one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. And the food... I absolutely gorged myself on that buffet, with zero regrets. From the main selections to the dessert station -- which featured authentic bananas foster -- every single bite was incredible. The quality, the presentation, the flavor -- all of it was just out of this world. I could have used a little more of that. I wish that the fish had cone with a vegetable side. It came with rice (which had some very hard nots in it) , but nothing green. In order to get a vegetable, you have to order a side for two. They also don't let you substitute the side that comes with your dish for another. Ultimately, I went without. We had margarita, 5 o'clock somewhere, and a flight of mimosas. They were all quite good. We finished the meal with the carrot cake and fried apple pies. The apple pies are reminiscent of old school McDonald's fried pies. But the star of the show was the carrot cake. If you don't get this...I feel sorry for you. It is truly the best I EVER had. Moist, flavorful, fluffy cream cheese icing. It was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant. They have done a great job and are determined to please you. When the server asked if I wanted a to-go box for my meal since everyone else had finished theirs, I showed him the raw fish and he apologized and said he was going to show it to the chef and took my plate away. They did comp my entree without us asking for it and gave us free dessert. But after not being able to finish my meal and feeling sick that I had potentially eaten raw fish, I was done.
