Late Review: I visited the TX Burger in Centerville, TX ON April 17th and 22nd. Twice in a very short period of time should say something about the burgers. There hamburgers are made the ole fashioned way with all the toppings, I ask for mayo and mustard all in the kids meal which is a rather large burger in my opinion. Wish I had taken a picture ‍ but for now just trust me. Next time you see a TX Burger you should definitely check them out. read more

So we just do not eat fast food, probably has been 10 years since we have. However we were on the highway on a trip and this popped up that I could pre order: It was so simple when we got there I called to make sure the order went through and the person that answered the phone was friendly, prompt and explained what we should do. The order was fresh and hot, burgers and fries. Flavor was on par and surprisingly good! My partner went inside and said it was nice and clean. Stopped here on a roadtrip. The burgers and sides were SO OVERCOOKED. The place was very busy so I'm not sure if it's a local favorite but for us it was a waste of time and money. The restaurant was not clean and there were lots of employees and some were in training. read more

Yes you want to eat here! Halfway from Houston to Dallas, TX Burger has an amazing burger and shakes. The shakes are all made with Blue Bell ice cream too. This is now my must stop whenever I'm making that trip! read more

We started really early from Dallas with a plan to hit Houston in 4 hours straight but the gods of sleep were against us so we stopped for a nap and when we woke up this Burger place with a Subway within its premises was before us. We actually went in to get to subway went but they didnt have a veggie patty and they suggested that TX burger had one- ultimately we ended up eating here - like it was meant to be! Tip: Vegetarian friendly even though the name does not suggest it. They carry all sorts breakfast items including pancakes, waffles etc. We got the garden veggie burger, fries and a soda. The burger bread was very fresh. So were the veggies which were lettuce and pickle for the most part. The soy patty was good too, generally when we used to eat it at burger king (when they used to carry a soy patty veggie burger) , it used to be slightly stringy, but not so here so am guessing this was fresh too. The fries were sooo good. Hot, crispy and the herbs on it made them really tasty. The cole was coke , but when you get one after almost 2 years of 'no soda' time then you appreciate it even more. The burger was slightly pricey compared to MacD kind of place though that is expected and worth every penny. The burger was 4.99 each, they do have a meal combo with comes with a side of fries and a pop. It definitely made our day to resume the rest of the journey feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The restaurant is a split between a Subway and this burger place and is actually set up nicely. The service was good and fast stand up order. The wait was very reasonable but the restaurant is very much lacking cleanliness. I had to wipe down a table to sit although there were plenty available ( i just picked the least grotesque) the floor was filthy and the ice machine was empty (or not functioning). The restroom was actually not too bad - paper towels and soap was available. The burger with cheese was just ok and the fries were decent but nothing to write about. The catchup bottle was pretty grimy. I would look for another place to try next time through. read more

I used to get a burger and shake with my daughter every time we came through town. Not only was it a special time together but the food was incredible, even as leftovers. Today i drove through and stopped in only to find out they took all the specialty burgers off the menu and raised the prices. Very upsetting. The food is not good anymore. Way below average burger.. don't believe the hype and signage here. We stopped for gas next door at the bbq gas station and saw the signs for a burger. The sign said something like you could buy a cheaper burger but then you got to eat it. Well for $12 for the burger fries and coke my dog sure loved the burger and he had no problem eating it. This burger was just a small over cooked pre made patty that was over grilled and way over priced. The sweet potatoes fries and cherry coke were great but Huge pass on this burger. You can get that same patty grilled at Burger King for cheaper and they are better to be honest. read more

I've only had these Burgers once - and I had just had my finger almost chopped off by a maniacal cat - so I don't think I'm the best judge. It seems pretty tasty and fast food esque, slightly higher price than most fast food burgers but tastier. Next time I pass through Centerville I plan to give it another try. First time ever trying TX Burger(I've never seen one up in the dfw area where I live), so I'll kick it to ya straight. I went through the drive thru got a #1 with tots and a cookies and cream shake. Jose the gentleman taking my order was spot on. GREAT customer service and helped me to decide on what shake I wanted. The burger, I was wondering why I wasn't seeing a whataburger around here and Crockett. That's cause these things exist and they absolutely blow whataburger out of the water. One of the best hamburgers I've had. But the dinning room was dirty. All of the tables needed to be wiped down. Actually the floor needed a little sweeping. I don't flip out about Covid. Randomly stopped here to escape a terrible thunderstorm, and it was a great decision. I ordered some kind of spicy burger, but I can't remember the name. It had siracha, jalapeños, and pepper jack cheese. I added lettuce and tomato, which turned out to be a great decision. The burger was very fresh, and the homemade taste can't be denied. Don't stop for the burgers. Cold and flavorless. My bacon burger with cheese was so cold the cheese did not warm up after 3 bites hand to give up for fear of food poisoning. Tots tasted like the oil needed to be changed. The ice cream was fantastic. Get your food somewhere else and then get the scoops or shakes here. read more

We were coming from McKinney Tx. Just the other side of Dallas and decided to stop in at the TX Burger restaurant, and let me tell you they have never failed me yet. They young lady behind the counter was very respectful. Yes Ma'am and no ma'am. The food is always delicious and the lobby was clean. This is a routine stop in the way back for visits to our families land - the food is always yummy! Today, the grill must had been overwhelmed - of the 6 meals we ordered 5 were incorrect.
