bowling lane

Food is awesome I wish I took pictures! I love their smash hamburgers. This visit I had magherita pizza (such cheap prices on pizza!) for 8 slices. We had the fried cauliflower tossed in buff wing sauce (it's not breaded so you can say it's healthy). Service was fast and amazing, bartender and waitresses come check on you. They have food runners. There is no plates here just paper tray things to eat out of. I'll be back to take food pics - ambience is beautiful (newly remodeled) Great service from Kenda, Abby and I will get the names of other staff!

1. Lunch and Bowling meetup with adult kids and grandkids age 12. 2. Got there before the kids about 1pm. They wouldn't let us sit at the tables by the bowling lane since our whole party wasn't there. I wasn't happy about that but I understood that's the way it is with bowling lanes since they rent them by the hour? We sat in the lounge area and for awhile no one checked on us. Finally someone came by and it was cold today- around 49 degrees, so I asked for coffee. The guy said they only serve coffee Monday through Friday. I think they work their breakfast scene during the week. He did bring us waters. I was a little let down about the coffee. I said something about it to my husband that if they served coffee during the week, why couldn't he go back there and make some coffee. Btw- they weren't busy at this point. They had one big birthday party and a few more lanes and pool table being used and that was it. But it was almost like the guy read my mind and he came out and said he would go ahead and make us some coffee. That was so nice and I was feeling more comfortable with this place. They had Big Lebowski pictures everywhere and I liked that and knew my late brother would too. He loved that movie! 2. The fam got there and we went in to the bowling area. They told us how it all worked and asked for the ladies's shoes sizes first. That was really a nice touch and she started with the oldest- me, which is always so nice and respectful. We got our shoes and went to lane 15 over on the right side or west side of the building in the back. They had what looked to be deep sunken leather sofas and a bar table and 2 barstools for our area. It was a little tight but the affects made it cozy. My husband and I sat on the barstools and the grown kids and their 12 yr old sat on the couch. 3. We ordered food. We wondered how good bar food could be? But it was really good and the prices weren't too bad. We got the Texas Two Step- which is sausage ends, beer cheese, and little pretzels bites. It was delicious? and 2 grilled chicken Cobb salads. I didn't expect much from the chicken from a bar but it was tender and tasty! Yum. The salad came in a big bowl and it was a good portion. The kids ordered the FRACHOS- which is nachos and fries instead of chips. The kids at it all up! 4. The bowling was bowling. Everyone had a great time there. 5. The music was all country. My adult kids like everything but country so we may not be back at least with them! 6. Last awesome plus was that it smelled nice like bleach. No yucky bar smell. Overall we had a great time!

Total yumminess!!

We have been to Bowlounge many times before to bowl and play shuffleboard & darts. We usually drink and have shared appetizers but today we went for dinner for FW Burger Week. We sat at the bar and the male bartender was very friendly and attentive. We each had the smash burger with bacon jam, cheese, & candied bacon. Hubby had tots and I had sweet potato fries. The burgers were delicious, the tots so, so crispy and the fries... wonderful. Food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. We do recommend!!

Bowling is ALWAYS a good idea, and Bowlounge is THE place to bowl in Fort Worth. First, facility is AMAZING - high-quality Brunswick lanes and balls, with pins that are free (not attached to string). Second, food and bar service is EXCELLENT - so many beers on tap and bottled/canned, including pitchers/dispensers available for larger groups, and great food options. Third, location is AWESOME - Southside with plenty of parking nearby. Bonus - lower rates Mon- Fri 11am-5pm. HIGHLY recommend.

Hunt won this battle.

31s ago Just because the weather outside was frightful, it didn't stop us from having a bowling-ly delightful time at Bowl Lounge! I may have lost a few rounds, but there's nothing like playing pool in an atmosphere of great music and vibes. Who doesn't love Saturday night shenanigans? #BowlLounge

Fried pickles were so over cooked. To be honest it was not really worth it, however it does have an old school feel.

Do you have kid friendly bowling with bumpers and ramps?

Unfortunately I only have bumpers on my first two lanes, and we don’t have ramps.

We had bowling reservations and were excited for a fun night, but unfortunately this ended up being…read morethe worst experience we've had here -- and we've been coming since they first opened. We are a party of seven and planned to order quite a bit of food and drinks while we bowled. However, our lane kept fouling every single person who bowled. We found someone and asked for assistance and were told someone would come help. Thirty minutes later, no one had come -- not to fix the lane and not to take our food order. A very kind gentleman happened to walk by, and we stopped him to explain the issue. He immediately called it in and asked for the foul line to be turned off. We also asked how we were supposed to order food, and he told us a waitress would come to our table. As he started to walk away, he turned back around and offered to take our order himself and write it down for the waitress -- which we genuinely appreciated. We asked about substituting the brussels sprouts on a platter due to an allergy in our party. He radioed to confirm and was told it was fine, so we placed the rest of our fairly large order. A few minutes later, a young woman came over and said they do not do substitutions like that. We explained that we had asked for approval before ordering and that the gentleman had radioed to confirm. She said "oh, okay" and walked off. Shortly after, a blonde woman came over and identified herself as the manager. She said she was told we claimed to have spoken to a manager. Her tone felt very accusatory, repeatedly asking, "Who did you talk to?" We had to physically look around and point out the person who helped us. She then informed us he's "not even a waiter, he's a party host," as if that somehow invalidated the help he gave us. Ironically, he was the only person who was proactive and helpful the entire time. And here's the biggest issue -- no one ever fixed the lane. Even after all the conversations, it continued to foul every player for the duration of our time. Manager or not, if an issue is brought to your attention and it never gets resolved, that's a serious breakdown in management. With reservations and a group of seven ready to spend money, we expected better organization, communication, and service. This was easily the worst experience we've had here. The only bright spot of the night was the party host who actually stepped up when no one else did.

I was super surprised they weren't so busy , everyone was super nice , we had a good time bowling…read moreand had food and played lots of games , and the games are super fun and reasonable me and my family won 7,000 tickets and everyone got a prize even the adults , the food was good too just the right amount to feed 4 a pizza and an appetizer. I had a terrible experience at this Alleycats location with the manager and one of their employees…read more My nephew wanted to go rock climbing and after my sister signed their form my nephew was standing near the rock wall ready to be harnessed when their employee, who already seemed to be in a bad mood since we asked to use the rock wall given it was pretty slow that afternoon (at around 5-5:30 ish), came over and pushed him away from the wall even though my nephew wasn't doing anything. He only apologized once my sister told him not to touch my nephew and that he is disabled (autism) but he never tried to apologize until my sister confronted him. My nephew still wanted to climb as he wasn't aware what that man did to him was unjustified and wrong. My sister went to the manager and explained the situation but the manager (picture below: woman with short black hair and glasses) said that she was watching everything and began saying it was a parents responsibility to watch over ones child, my sister agreed with that and said that either way the man had no reason to push my nephew and that the correct response would've been to talk with her about it. The manager insisted their employee did nothing wrong. My sister recorded everything and told the manager this and also told her she wanted a refund. We went to the front desk and the manager came back with a completely different story now, she said that she spoke with her employee and that he said he never pushed my nephew. My sister then reminded her that she said she had been watching everything. She is a liar who didn't bother looking at the security cameras after my sister asked her to. She never bothered with any kind of apology even though her later statements imply she wasn't present at the time of the incident and she wasn't even sure about what had happened. This was overall a terrible experience that could've been resolved had the manager taken some responsibility and had not tried to justify the actions of a grown man towards a child with autism. This goes to show that they do not care for any child disabled or not. They don't train their employees to handle children with care and respect that they deserve. The employee didn't even know how to properly harness my nephew who despite all his excitement was standing still, he had to ask my sister to help him. From the manager to the red head employee, all of them handled this wrong and I will never come back. I hope everyone is careful with their children in their care given the manager was willing to defend a man who's first instinct is to push a child instead of talking to a parent. My sister was right next to my nephew when everything happened, I was sitting right there too and my nephew's only emotion was excitement even after he was pushed. Do better ALLEYCATS and employ better people for the safety of children.
