They have a full service bar/lounge and lane service. The price to bowl a game has gone up quite a bit. Bowled a couple of games and had few beers came out around $45. I have not bowled anywhere else so I don't know if that's competitive that is or not. Good memories and fun laughing at each others "game". I couldn't remember my 14 Ibs ball being so heavy! We came here to celebrate my birthday and loved it! The place is modern and cool, but also has this old-school vibe to it. We thoroughly enjoyed the music and all of the staff were courteous, friendly, and helpful. We had a few guests arrive late, and we appreciated them accommodating the addition of another lane last minute. We came during the day but I hear it gets really busy during the evening hours, so plan ahead if you have a large group. We were lucky enough for them to have the 2019 pricing in effect so it was much cheaper than if we had went and bowled someplace else. Plus this place is way cooler than other options. read more

I attended a weekly bowling event at Bowlounge. The employees are all relatively polite and helpful, although food service was a little slow and required us to hunt down a server on several occasions. The food is pretty good for a bowling alley and there are lots of food and drink options on offer. The restrooms are easy to find and stayed relatively clean. They always had plenty of balls and shoes in my size, which I appreciated. It does get really loud in here with the sounds of bowling, people's voices, and some really loud music. It made it hard to chat with my teammates, which was a little bit of a bummer. Overall, Bowlounge is a fun place to grab some decent food while you bowl a few games. read more

Food is awesome I wish I took pictures! I love their smash hamburgers. This visit I had magherita pizza (such cheap prices on pizza!) for 8 slices. We had the fried cauliflower tossed in buff wing sauce (it's not breaded so you can say it's healthy). Service was fast and amazing, bartender and waitresses come check on you. They have food runners. There is no plates here just paper tray things to eat out of. Stopped by Bowlounge while my daughter was at a nearby party and ended up having an unexpectedly awesome time. Service: Top-notch. The staff went above and beyond, kept drinks topped off without needing to ask and even helped me choose a couple of great cocktails. Super friendly and genuinely seemed to enjoy making sure guests were having a good time. Food: Way above your average bowling alley fare. The fish and shrimp tacos were fantastic, fresh, flavorful, and well-seasoned. Honestly, I'd come back just for the food. Bowling Vibes: As a bowling nerd, I really appreciated the retro Brunswick pin setters. You can actually see the pins being cycled and dropped into place, something you don't get at most modern lanes. The lanes themselves are no joke either. Found out they're running a long pattern from edge to edge, so accuracy is everything. Miss right? Gutter. Miss left's ? Say hello to a 7-10 split. It's a fun challenge and makes for a rewarding experience if you like a bit of precision in your game. I spent two hours bowling solo and had a blast. Great vibe, great service, great food. We attended a 50th bday party at Bowlounge in Ft Worth where the host had rented 2 lanes. There were prob 16-20 people in attendance- which made up at least 8-12 different tabs where everyone ordered food and drinks. I know my tab was almost $60 and the other two tabs I saw were the same or higher. Most also paid a gratuity for being a large party. We were at one end of the bowling alley. The rest of the alley was empty. Towards the end of the lane reservation a group came up about 4 lanes down- still plenty of room for people to talk, visit and watch the two lanes that were actively bowling. A bit later they told us all we would need to get to our two lanes because now they were putting people between us and the other group- mind you- the rest of the alley was empty. We tried to huddle up but we ended up by a kitchen door. As we saw people coming or going we would move and make way for staff to enter/exit. A bit later a gentleman who was manning the "lane rental area" came over and said " y'all have to move. You have to go somewhere". At that point party was winding down so we are figuring out where we are going from there. He comes back over and says " you have to move my staff needs in and out". We said no problem and apologized but the way he said it is still bothering me. If that other group had been put somewhere else we wouldn't have been blocking any areas. We were ALL paying customers - not one person in that party came, sat and didn't eat, drink or bowl. I could easily see if it was people just using your space. At this point our waitresses also came around with everyone's food/bar tabs and said you're good to close and handed out tabs. I'm pretty sure several of us would have ordered more...but we were basically told it was being closed- this was before 630pm... I understand they need their kitchen accessible and they need to keep it safe for wait staff and patrons. I just believe there were a couple different things that could have been done differently. As it turned out- the group quickly disbanded not even staying in the front lounge or ordering more drinks. Everyone said their goodbyes, finished current drinks and left. I know the hostess rented two lanes at $58 dollars each so let's add another $116 plus tax to the other bar tabs which were prob minimum of 8 tabs at a minimum of $60 each. That's a nice piece of pie IMO for a Sat afternoon at 4pm and had we not been pushed out we may have stayed and enjoyed more food, beverage and visiting with out of town guests. I believe many things could have been done differently by the establishment - that would have ended up with happier customers and more revenue- which is the name of the game. read more

1. Lunch and Bowling meetup with adult kids and grandkids age 12. 2. Got there before the kids about 1pm. They wouldn't let us sit at the tables by the bowling lane since our whole party wasn't there. I wasn't happy about that but I understood that's the way it is with bowling lanes since they rent them by the hour? We sat in the lounge area and for awhile no one checked on us. Finally someone came by and it was cold today- around 49 degrees, so I asked for coffee. The guy said they only serve coffee Monday through Friday. I think they work their breakfast scene during the week. He did bring us waters. I was a little let down about the coffee. I said something about it to my husband that if they served coffee during the week, why couldn't he go back there and make some coffee. Btw- they weren't busy at this point. They had one big birthday party and a few more lanes and pool table being used and that was it. But it was almost like the guy read my mind and he came out and said he would go ahead and make us some coffee. That was so nice and I was feeling more comfortable with this place. They had Big Lebowski pictures everywhere and I liked that and knew my late brother would too. He loved that movie! 2. The fam got there and we went in to the bowling area. They told us how it all worked and asked for the ladies's shoes sizes first. That was really a nice touch and she started with the oldest- me, which is always so nice and respectful. We got our shoes and went to lane 15 over on the right side or west side of the building in the back. They had what looked to be deep sunken leather sofas and a bar table and 2 barstools for our area. It was a little tight but the affects made it cozy. My husband and I sat on the barstools and the grown kids and their 12 yr old sat on the couch. 3. We ordered food. We wondered how good bar food could be? But it was really good and the prices weren't too bad. We got the Texas Two Step- which is sausage ends, beer cheese, and little pretzels bites. It was delicious? and 2 grilled chicken Cobb salads. I didn't expect much from the chicken from a bar but it was tender and tasty! Yum. The salad came in a big bowl and it was a good portion. The kids ordered the FRACHOS- which is nachos and fries instead of chips. The kids at it all up! 4. The bowling was bowling. Everyone had a great time there. 5. The music was all country. My adult kids like everything but country so we may not be back at least with them! 6. Last awesome plus was that it smelled nice like bleach. No yucky bar smell. We have been to Bowlounge many times before to bowl and play shuffleboard & darts. We usually drink and have shared appetizers but today we went for dinner for FW Burger Week. We sat at the bar and the male bartender was very friendly and attentive. We each had the smash burger with bacon jam, cheese, & candied bacon. Hubby had tots and I had sweet potato fries. The burgers were delicious, the tots so, so crispy and the fries... wonderful. Food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. We do recommend!! read more

So here's the thing. This place is cute and fun. The thing that gets me is they add an automatic 20% gratuity to their $60/ hour lane fee to bowl if you have more than 6 people. I'm totally fine with an auto gratuity on food and beverage purchase, but not on the hourly lane fee. So just be aware if you choose to be a patron of this establishment. Be ready to pay $75/ hour just to book the lane if you have 6 people or more. read more

Very, very cool spot! Came here on 11/12/24 for a team building event with my department at work. They charge per hour per person and it includes your shoes. Since we came on a Tuesday, we received half off per bowler - $6.50! That's truly a steal! When you walk in, there are booths and tables to the left to "lounge" in and several table to the right. I heard there use to be pool tables and games in this area, but no longer. Not sure why they were removed, because it would have added an extra oomph to the place. There aren't many lanes, maybe 15-20ish...??? Wasn't very busy when we arrived around 2pm, but got busier about an hour later. Received our shoes quickly and got our lanes setup. We all ordered drinks, I had the All The Way - this was DELISH! I also had the Paloma, which was ok. The pepperoni pizza was great, and it came with ranch without me even asking for it. Score! We also ordered the Texas Two Step, which is bite sized pretzels and sausage with cheese dip. This was also very yummy! The real star of the show was our server. I wish I would have caught her name, but she was the MVP. I believe she was the only server covering the entire area, She was killin it! She was running around like a crazy person, but she did an amazing job and was a total sweetheart the entire time. I forgot to take pictures BUT this is a pretty neat spot. Not your typical bowling alley but when you walk up there is outdoor seating, darts, and corn hole. On the inside there is a bar and plenty of seating to just chill. The coolest part about this place is the bowling alley with the old school pin setter. This is a perfect spot for a group, date night, or girls/guys meet up. The service was great and we did take the kids but at 8pm it turns into 21+. The only thing I think could be better are the drinks. The food was pretty good. We got the lemon pepper wings, and pizza. Would definitely go back. read more

Went on a Friday after work. We had a group of about 10 so we made a reservation in advance that came with a food package and water at the table - it was easy to coordinate and ready when we arrived. It was busy but not packed when we arrived. Nice fire pit with small seating area outside along with tables. There was an area for darts and jinga but it was dark- maybe they just hadn't turned the outside lights on yet? Cute decor & comfortable bowling areas. Even had a vending machine with socks. The waitress was attentive. The chips & salsa (medium heat), queso & guac were really good. It took an extremely long time to get our food. After about 40 min she told us they were behind and it'd be a few minutes longer- it was another 35 minutes when we got our food. We were beginning our 3rd game when the food finally came. The chips, good company, bowling & reminiscing with the 80-90s music saved us from being hangry. My grilled chicken club sandwich with fries was juicy and delicious. I got a side of yummy ranch that tasted homemade. Blackberry mule was also refreshing & went down too easy. Everyone else enjoyed their burgers and salads (salad served in med-large mixing bowls). It started getting pretty packed and loud 8pm and after. With more people came pretty strong smells of pot by the bar area and on the patio which was unpleasant. We left around 9 and chose not to stay there longer to hang & enjoy cocktails due to some already pretty loud almost rowdy small groups and the overwhelming smell of pot. I would definitely come back again earlier in the day/evening or even rent out for a party as I think it could be a really great place and the food is good. read more

Who says date nights have to happen on the weekend? Hubby and I took a spontaneous opportunity tonight to have some fun and quality time together doing one of our favorite things... pool & bowling! We had a really great time at Bowlounge in Near Southside with some delicious cheat food (the garlic parm fries are bomb), a couple games of pool and a couple rounds of bowling. The vibe there is really chill and it's in a restored heritage building, which just gives it such cool vibes! Service is a bit scattered and not exactly warm and friendly... but I'll overlook it since there seemed to be a couple events with large groups happening with only 2 or 3 attendants taking orders, serving food, managing the bowling desk and settling checks. The place is clean and the food is good I can only consign on the wings they tasted like they were actually cooked and not out of a bag from Sams. My only hang up is that it's a little pricy for bowling but I get it the area is hot and they gotta make rent. We played one game had one order of wings and one cocktail and it was 70 bucks ouch!! This place seems to be a lot better for big groups. Unless you have a larger party, you can't reserve lanes in advance. We were quoted 30 minutes for a lane to open up on Sunday evening and waited over an hour. We were encouraged to wait in the bar, where the bar tender aggressively hounded us to order (we wanted to wait till we got our lane to get a pitcher of beer and food). We ordered a few drinks at the bar and some food. Part of the food came out, but I some never did. It did show up on my ticket though. The bartender told us our tab would be combined with our lane whenever we were 'seated', but it didn't. Our 'server' rarely came by our lane (I'm guessing because there weren't very many of us?), and was MIA for most of the evening. We had to go to the bar to place orders. When I went to the bar to order, they said there was a 'fiasco' and that's why no one was taking care of us. Our server later came by and did not apologize, but instead started stating that the reason for her abscense was that she had gotten into a car accident....the day before. (?!) The people in the lane next to us dropped a pint glass and it shattered all over our lane and theirs. Between our.group and theirs, we had to ask for a broom 5x. It took 20 minutes for someone to hand their party a broom. Poor safety procedures making the guest clean up broken glass.... They also do not openly advertise that a second round will charge a second time. At the end of the first round, the system asks if you want to continue and doesn't say it will charge you. Closing out our tickets was a nightmare, there were multiple tabs started for us with things rang in that never came to the table and I really don't think she charged us correctly for the bowling. Unless Bowlounge really is shady like that with playing a second round. The 'server' yanked her cash tip out of my hand and rolled her eyes when I said I would be adding another 20% tip on the card payment. Also, their beer is way over priced. A pitcher did not even fill 4 glasses and came out to $24 (amber ale). The server coincidentally didn't know what I was talking about when I asked for a picture of the amber ale even though there is only one amber ale on the draft list. Overall, it was a disappointing night. Our total playtime, minus the delay for glass clean up, was under an hour and the system booted us after the 2nd round. The best part was the 'all the way' cocktail, which was very light and refreshing. read more

Before I left, I made sure to speak with the "manager on staff." Apparently the white man with the tattooed arm is his boss? So, corporate if you read this, your going to lose your customers! Your white man at the door pretending to be the owner of your place is telling people "to get out of his patio," while they wait for their friends. If he wants us out, he needs to properly & respectfully communicate the rules & regulations instead of assuming that we knew them. This is not a good first impression, we didnt feel welcome! He left us with a bad taste, if your going to keep using him as your representative (the mascot of your company) - at least enroll him in a consumer behavior, customer service, management class! If you notice - several of the negative comments here are about this one individual! Also, I'm amazed that he took the time to only respond to my review, and have the audacity to explain himself. Nice atmosphere, quick and attentive service! The place seemed crowded, but my friends and I were able to get a lane quickly. It seemed like the score keeping software had a few glitches (skipping turns, etc), but we were able to edit things ourselves pretty easily. I liked that they offered local draft beers. To be honest, I expected the food to be better (based on the photos), but it could have been worse. We ordered fried pickles, which were okay- stick with the ranch dip though, the sauce it comes with is funky. The boneless wings were also average. But I guess for a bowling alley, it was great! This place was great! There is ample street parking and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating had long picnic tables, corn hole and allowed smoking. There was a small fire pit with couches. When you walk in, the bar area was open and easily accessible. I didn't spend much time in the bowling area but the rates were reasonable. The bar food was a better than most places.
