Joined this gym almost a year ago, they had wonderful staff and slowly the owners have ran them all out. The morning kid zone ladies were the best and my girls favorites. I'm so sad to see a great gym deteriorate based on poor employee treatment. I still love Pilates and bootcamp, it's the only saving grace, but I can't see myself staying as a customer long term, if my girls miss the only people they felt safe with. read more

Can I leave zero stars? Don't go here. Don't even consider it. When I moved to Forney in 2024, I quickly found this place as a second home for me and my family. The staff was awesome, the vibes were chill, and the childcare did exactly what it needed to do. Fast forward to 2025 when the gym was purchased by new owners. This is where everything went downhill. Immediately, the music was changed to very non-gym-like music. When the complaints started, the guy at the front desk told me that the new owners/GM were not taking complaints and "don't care what people say." WOW. Second, the A/C began to struggle, equipment broke, and the sauna broke. I learned it was because "they don't have the budget." That's fine, I get it... until I learned they were installing a $15,000 audio system... to play terrible music? The existing audio was working fine; the music selection just sucked. It seems all they care about is trying to make a trendy TikTok to go viral. Time went by and ownership refused to take any accountability for broken amenities or a dirty facility. The staff did what they could with the limited supplies and equipment they were given, but management's only solution was to run a floor-cleaning machine in the middle of peak hours--leaving the entire gym floor a soapy, unusable mess. To make it weirder, they use their Facebook page to air corporate grievances and financial struggles, seemingly wanting members to feel sorry for them, rather than posting actual gym updates or promotions. Now, they have begun to cut staff hours and pay for no reason. The amazing original staff was the only thing holding this place together. We will gladly be taking our business elsewhere. Too many charges that were unaccounted for. I was on a bi weekly schedule then I was getting charges for 80 something dollars and 60 something dollars in the same month. Then got an annual charge when I was on a bi weekly membership. Everytime I turned around it was a new charge on both my accounts. Membership is canceled and I will still receive charges until next month. Crunch will be open soon, it can't be worse over there. read more

5 stars because they have a kids club, and a membership for all of us (me, my husband, and kids club for 2 young kids) is $70 per month. There's a whole lot of equipment inside, but I'd prefer more equipment/more maneuvering around said equipment than I would less equipment with big open wasted space. Good music, lots of TVs. The cons: Not much room for stretching If you aren't already comfortable in a gym, you will likely feel intimidated here. read more

I been at this gym since before it was TX fitness. And at first I enjoyed going, but it has gone WAY downhill with The music being horribly loud OVER headphones. (That the owners have laughed and ignored our request to turn it down), the equipment needs updating, taking away the body meter machine unless you have a trainer, dead bugs/roaches in the sauna. Go anywhere else!! the gym is small and usually overcrowded. Which really wasn't that bad. But when it came time for me and my wife to move, we went in together and canceled both of our memberships. Six months later go by I realize my wifes membership has been canceled, but I'm still getting charged. I called. They tell me it'll be taken care of. Of course it wasn't. Another six months go by and then I realize I'm still being charged my monthly membership so I called them back and they tell me I have to email someone of course let's make it as difficult as possible. I emailed this person. They respond and tell me I have to go create an account with this website to cancel the policy because that makes sense. I create the account and spent 15 minutes trying to figure it out and you can't actually cancel the policy on the website so I called the store back and they don't even know how to cancel the policy on the website. After going back-and-forth, I finally get it canceled a year late. I know it's not the poor guy working the front desk fault, It's the managers do not go to this gym. read more

AMAZING gym! Has SO many machines that made the availability unwavering. The gentleman at the front was extremely helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome as soon as we stepped in. This business needs to extend into Killeen!! And a $10 day pass - that was a deal in comparison to the $20 day passes at other gyms. They also had the protein drinks available for right after your work out, and saunas! Super clean, great music, and awesome fitness atmosphere. read more

The owner's niece by the name of Isabela answers the front desk phone and is extremely rude and unprofessional. She either needs to learn proper customer service skills, or Texas Fitness shouldn't place her in a customer facing role, period! She assumes everyone has social media accounts and when you ask her a question on status of renovations she points you to social media. Texas Fitness stop assuming everyone is on social media when asking for updates to your renovations, it's a better idea to email your members with updates vs. putting everyone in a certain category. There are email and text communication that should go out to inform gym members updates on your renovations. It isn't rocket science and is pretty simple process. Just because Isabela is a member of the owner's family doesn't give her a right to talk down, de-humanize, yell at, and offend your gym members. Nepotism at its finest! Other than that, the quality of the equipment and classes are okay. Any good feedback supersedes the bad attitude of your front desk personnel unfortunately, not the image you want if you would like to increase your membership pool. read more

If you are a female or have a mother, sister, or any female in your life, I recommend that you stay away from this gym. The owner has no respect for women. He cancelled every exercise class that was mainly attended by women. He gave 4 days notice that all group classes were cancelled. These were Zumba, Dance2Fit, Fly Dance, and others. He was told that people would drop their membership due to classes being cancelled and he didn't care. He is very unprofessional. I give this gym zero stars. If i could give this place a negative star rating, I absolutely would. The staff is wonderful, the equipment is great...it is Jake (The GM) and Kenny (The Owner) that are the problem. This is a long one, but if you are thinking about Personal Training, you might want to read to save yourself from getting scammed the way I did. I joined late January for a gym membership and talked to Jake about Personal Training. After talking with him, I decided to give their PT a try. It is expensive but I felt I could make it work for some sessions. I bought SESSIONS (this is important), it was never meant to be a monthly fee. So I signed up with Jake and got assigned a PT (whom I absolutely adored). Everything was good until about late March/early April. My trainer came up to me and told me how many SESSIONS I had remaining. He told me how he was going to switch up our workout, incorporate someone else who was working more on the nutrition side, and I would be charged a certain price for 3X/week for a month. With Jake, I bought a certain amount of sessions that was 2X/week. This is important... I originally was not going to re-sign because I felt for the amount of money I was spending, I was not getting a good workout. But come to find out it was JAKE who wrote my training NOT my actual PT. Once I was aware of this and I was no longer dealing with Jake (so I thought) I decided to give my trainer another go to see what he could do. I told him I needed to talk to my husband to see if I could swing it. I have on text message talking to my trainer that yes I could give him another try. Again....a monthly contract was NEVER DISCUSSED!!! In text, he told me they could either run the card right then and there or when I come in for my session. I decided to pay IN PERSON when I came in for my session. This is when it all changed and I feel like I got scammed. I was dealing with my trainer and the nutritional person who was going to be incorporated into my routine. IT WAS US THREE ONLY WHEN I PAID. My trainer was not there during final payment. It was me and the nutritionist, shes the one that took payment and had me sign the basic wavers. While I was signing those wavers, she was discussing what I was signing, THERE WAS NO MENTION OF AN AUTOMATIC AUTODRAFT. I thought I was signing the same thing as I did in January. The problem with signing these wavers is it is a tiny electronic box you are signing as someone is explaining what is on them. No paper copy, nothing. So you almost have to trust what they are telling you. But again...I signed the wavers in January with zero problems, no auto draft, nothing. Basic wavers. So come May, I get an auto draft of $1,000. Had NO IDEA what it was for, talked to my trainer, he didn't know what it was for and said Jake would fix it and there would be no problem. Boy was he wrong... I went to Jake and he basically said he was there and I knew what I was signing. That was a LIE. He was NOT around. I told him I absolutely did NOT, I wasn't aware of the "contract" and neither was my trainer, who actually re-signed me up in April. Last time he was there was in Jan. I asked for THAT contract and he couldn't produce it. Why? Because there was none. Plus, the contract that I had supposedly "signed" in April didn't even have the correct information on there with what me and my trainer talked about. It had what me and Jake talked about back in January. Only difference is back in Jan, I bought sessions, now it was all of a sudden monthly?? Very shady. If I was supposed to know it was a contract, shouldn't their trainers know as well??? No one but Jake knew. And probably Kenny. With everything i have proof wise, AND what's on the actual contract, I almost feel like it was done on the back end without my knowledge. NO ONE but Jake knew it was auto drafted. Another thing that makes me question the validity of this "said contract" is the fact that where you are supposed to initial, it has my actual electronic signature. NOT my initials. I would NEVER knowingly agree to have this amount of money auto drafted out of my account every month. AND I never got a copy of the contract I supposedly signed. I own a business, I am very aware of what I sign and also how to treat customers. Apparently they do not. There's SO MUCH more that goes into this story, but I'm running out of room. Tried to take it to Kenny, and he didn't even want to hear all the info/proof I had. Personal training at any gym is supposed to be a LUXARY, whoever decided this was a good idea (probably Jake), it absolutely is NOT. Oh, and apparently now you have to give a 30 day notice to cancel the PT. That's what Jake told me after I found out about this. So if someone wants to take it month by month, they have to sign up, cancel right then just then just to resign next month and do it all over again?? WHAT?? LOL. Stay away and find a gym that actually values you. read more

Tx Fitness without any previous agreement in writing decided to adjust my automatic payment to $35. I was originally paying $10 per month. This organization is very comfortable with increasing my payment absent my approval. In addition, I am unable to cancel via phone and have to drive to the gym in order to stop the bleeding. Very poor choice for a workout facility. Multiple quality alternatives for 1/3 the price. read more

The evening front desk staff is extremely unhelpful and inattentive. The manager is not anymore helpful, he comes off very rude, and unaccommodating. Everyone is always on their phones. The organization and cleanliness of the gym is horrible. It's set up terribly, where you can't move around properly, and it takes forever to get on any equipment you want to use. They ruined the studio area, where I enjoyed the free place to exercise, when the gym is so busy. Plus the esthetic of the gym is awful! The bright orange paint is one of the ugliest things they could've done. I asked to cancel my membership, and was told that I had to put my name in a piece of paper, and the person responsible would take care of it later. I was charge for another month following, and lost money to a gym I didn't want to return to. I don't recommend anyone to this gym! -3/10 read more

I am in this gym everyday so not someone that shows up once a week. New owner is doing some good things and cleaning up and repairing things needed. But is going way overboard with equipment it's so close together you can barely walk around. There is literally equipment in every inch of this making it very crowded. if they grow the gym to fill the machines it will be a nightmare of people. They also got rid of all the mats for abs and floor things. now you have to buy one. Who the hell wants to carry a mat around. Really....all that to make a few bucks on mats. not a fan and won't buy one or anything else. Not the community gym it was. Now it's a money generator. Been going there 5 years some equipment was needed but not 40 new machines crammed togethe. Makes it annoying to work out. So may be shopping around For a more un-crammed atmosphere. read more

this gym used to have so much reputation even when the previous owner Josh was around. Now, this gym has gone down the drain. bathrooms are disgusting and unsanitary, high school kids working out without shirts on, and trash everywhere. It's a nice gym, a lot of free weights and it's quiet. The reason why I gave it 1 stars is because I paid for a day pass but when I was doing cardio in the studio I saw a few people let multiple of their friends in through the side door. read more

TX Fitness has been such a great experience from the get-go. I have been a member for about a year and a half. When I signed up I didn't feel any pressure and it was an easy process. All of the employees have been so kind, to everyone, every time I go. The gym is always so clean!! They have a sauna and tanning. They even have a "kid zone" where you can have childcare while you work out. They have an awesome selection of energy drinks, snacks and supplements. I personally love to work out in their studio when they don't have classes. I love TX Fitness. :-) read more
