The staff are super friendly and helpful here! They also got a great selection of plants. Did I say top notch customer service?

Be very cautious if you're buying compost for growing vegetables. The compost contains herbicide residue--likely persistent types that are harmful to sensitive crops. When I brought this up to the owner, he blamed my growing techniques and even suggested testing my native soil. I declined, and instead asked him to test the compost I bought--which he refused. It quickly turned into a blame game, and I chose to end the discussion. I'm posting this review so others can make informed decisions before using this compost. For reference, here are some research articles discussing herbicide residue and its impact: https://www.montana.edu/extension/pesticides/reference/contamination.html https://psdocs.spes.vt.edu/AOFT/Plant_Injury_Herbicide_Residue.pdf The owner mentioned a common herbicide with a half-life of 6.2 days, but research shows some types can be up to 433 days. He also said he had sent his compost samples for testing and received good results--but how can we be sure the compost sold to customers is the same as what was tested? In the end, it's up to each buyer to judge for themselves.

NEVER GO TO LOWE'S FOR FLOOR INSTALLATIONS…read more We went through Lowe's to replace our carpet with laminate flooring, and the entire experience has been a nightmare from start to finish. We initially worked with Bradley on the sales side and received several quotes. Everything seemed fine at first. Lowe's sent someone out to do measurements, and the process appeared standard. A contract was written, and we paid in full at the end of March 2026. After that, we waited to hear back about an installation date. Then Lowe's informed us there were issues with labor costs for our stairs that had not been included in the contract. After several weeks, Frank at the Rancho Santa Margarita Lowe's was finally able to resolve that issue. Next, we were told the project was delayed because stair nosing pieces were out of stock and the project could not be released to Keller Interiors. That delay lasted about a month. Once the product finally arrived, we personally went to the store to pick it up ourselves in hopes of speeding things along. When the contractors from Kellers Interiors finally showed up to assess the job, they immediately advised us that the contract did not look correct. They sat for nearly two hours waiting for Keller and Lowe's to sort things out before ultimately telling us they could not begin the installation until the contract was corrected and additional labor costs were paid. At this point, I still have not heard back from anyone. I have now escalated the issue by emailing both the CEOs of Lowe's and Keller Interiors. As I'm writing this, our project still has not started, and all of the flooring materials are sitting in our garage. Now we wait to see how long it takes for anyone to respond -- or whether they even care.
