I made a few calls to PT offices where no one picked up or they informed me the next appointment would be over a month from now. I needed a visit as soon as I could. I called Ascend PT and Gina immediately picked up, listened to my situation and quickly booked me in to be seen within a few days. Gina is very professional and personable. She made me feel very comfortable right away and gave top quality care. I felt immediate relief after she worked on my neck and gave me exercises to work on. At this point, I have seen so many physical therapists throughout my life and Gina is quite competent. Substantial progress was made each visit and I would leave visits feeling refreshed and pain free. Meanwhile, at other places, I would be in pain for several months before seeing any progress. After seeing Gina for a month and a half, I was 90% recovered and after three months, I feel so refreshed and able to do all my regular exercise routines and activities. I truly wish I had found Gina much earlier and will solely be seeking her guidance when I have future injuries~

We've had to chase down basic information that should have been handled proactively. Once you finally get past the administrative chaos, the actual physical therapists are excellent--knowledgeable, attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, the poor service at the front desk seriously undermines the experience and creates unnecessary stress. Great PTs, but the administrative service is completely broken and needs major improvement.

I must say though , 3 stars for the front desk needs to be more proactive , it's not a good sight to come and they're doing personal stuff being on their phones and chit chatting instead of paying more attention to people coming and going. But their major weak spot is getting your foot in the door since the phone is often not answered and sometimes my voicemails are not returned. It's frustrating right at this time since I was reevaluated and then no one scheduled me, nor returned my phone calls, so now a month has passed and I must be reevaluated again a month from now due to no openings. It's difficult when one is in pain. I would give 4 stars but this last incident is pretty awful where I'd like to give 2, but I hear they are having some turnover so I know it's probably challenging for them also. My son is a DPT and used to manage facilities like this, so I know it can be difficult, but they still need to strive toward excellence.

But once I started going in, I've had to talk to another girl who's at the front. She's not nearly as personable. She's not rude either, but seems kind of disinterested or something. She's usually on the phone with a personal call every time I go in, with isn't professional. Then sometimes i call to make an appt, and she sounds like she doesn't have time for me. Probably because she need s to get back to talking to her friends. Second, I've been going there for a couple months already, and have been using my insurance benefits to cover the cost. I always pay my copay too. But then the other day I got this huge bill from them! I was like," WTH?!" It looks like they weren't billing my insurance properly. I still have to clear this up with them, but what a hassle! Of course, if it turns out that everything is in order, I'll have a big bill to pay, and no one ever told me about it! He was quick and responsive in getting an appointment and patient in explaining and answering cervical chiro adjustments. Happy to say I saw results instantly after the first adjustment. As with any medical care, maintenance is required so make sure to follow through and follow up with continuing appointments. Wanted to highlight instant results and pain relief!

I contemplated within the first 10 minutes of speaking with her if I should walk out, which in hindsight, I should have. They continued to make snarky and rude comments throughout the visit. Then, on top of the comments, they weren't fully listening to me when I was explaining my injury, they continually cut me off throughout my explanation. Lastly, when they were doing my exam, they gave no guidance on what they wanted me to do and got annoyed when I wasn't doing the move they wanted. The only positive experience was with Deelah, at the front desk, they were very nice.
