I decided to try their fish sandwich and fries. Believe me, when they state 'some say we invited it here', they were not lying. It had incredible flavor with the batter and the fish was cooked perfectly--flaky, tender and moist. Greasiness was non-existent. Roll was grilled with a slight crunch when bit into. I may be mistaken, but their tartar sauce seemed to be house-made as well. Just the right amount of tangy and sweet, with bits of carrot and pickle. Incredibly delicious. The fries threw me for a loop, wasn't expecting cottage fries, but I loved them. Some were incredibly crispy and crunchy, almost akin to a chip. Some were cut thicker and had a similar feel to steak fries, but so much better. All in all incredibly delicious food. Will definitely be back to check out their other food in addition to their coffee and espresso options. One final thing I love, is the bio-degradable takeout containers. No need for anymore products that will just sit in a landfill for our descendants to worry about.

No problem, great, glad there is a sense of community, but the closeness of the seating and the setup of the place meant that me and my spouse didn't really have our own conversation. We weren't invited into the conversation dominating the entire place but did have to listen to it, including the cringe comments on a couple different social issues of the day. I wouldn't normally mention the conversations of patrons in a review but by the same token this business felt the need to display some fake Trump $1,000,000 note on the cash register. The inside decor of the place feels tired, lots of old articles on the walls and a random collection of trains, Elvis, and classic car stuff. All faded/fading. Our server appeared to have just rolled out of bed, threw on a miscellaneous t-shirt, some crocs, and showed up to work. The menu consists mostly of stuff you probably already make at home. There are more options/distinctive items however at the GetGo gas station down the street. For what it was, the food we had was good and the pricing is at least commensurate with the food. These factors saved the two stars in the rating. Wishing we would have walked out shortly after sitting down. Ligonier has so much more to offer.
