I was able to make an appointment a couple days before--you can either email or call Setsu. I sent her an email and she responded within the hour. I went in not totally sure what I wanted to do. I had some photos and a few ideas, and Setsuko was really good about talking through them with me. We ended up settling on layers and longer, face framing bangs. She also lightened my hair a bit since I have so much of it and it's sort of unruly. Started off with a hair wash and a head massage. I'd just gotten a piercing the day before and Setsuko was really careful as she washed my hair, which I appreciated. The head massage was also such a nice addition! Then she did a cut while it was wet, blow dried my hair, and continued cutting when it was dry. Afterwards she did a quick curl. Super happy with the results, especially for the price! It was just $100 and I was there for well over an hour. Will definitely be back and recommending to friends!

However, there's really only one lady who understands and speaks English. The guy who cut my hair didn't understand or speak so she had to translate, which is a deal breaker for me.
