It felt very light, almost like a beginner was giving the massage. Definitely not worth the upgrade. 2. The therapist left the room 4 or 5 times during the session. While two of those times were understandable, only once did she clearly explain where she was going. At one point, it seemed like she was more focused on her tip than on providing a quality massage. I'm giving this place 2 stars only because my first visit was truly excellent. However, after today, I don't think I'll be returning or recommending it.

I pretty much exclusively get foot massages because I have severe psoriasis and I'm really self conscious. The massage therapists here are extremely understanding of my health issues and my decreased mobility over the years. They always make it comfortable and welcoming for me and are mindful of my autoimmune flareups. Some days I can't move properly, have zero mobility in my hands, and they accommodate me and help me move a bit better. Some days I scratch myself silly and it looks like terrifying, but they still help me find peace by putting the lotion on my calves and loosen up the muscles. I always add CBD (additional $10) but it helps calm my skin down a lot and it's great for my rheumatoid arthritis flareups. The quality and care Spring Massage delivers is comparable to those of high end "spas" without the hefty price tag. The prices are more than reasonable, their massage therapists are incredibly skilled and are willing to listen to your needs. I overheard another customer who came here for a pregnancy massage, and she had a few special requests. The owners listened and made sure they understood her completely before setting her up with a massage therapist. If you're looking for relaxing self care session that won't break the bank and walk away feeling like you're ready to face reality again, I highly recommend coming here to check it out for yourself. It's not a luxurious spa with all the fancy amenities. It's a small treat that's affordable enough to work it into a proper consistent self care routine.

I met the owner and I asked him to explain the rational of why he is requiring everyone to pay for a table shower even if they don't want one. For example; 1hr massage is $80 which includes a table shower. I asked him what if people just want a massage, will they have to pay for a table shower too? He didn't have an answer. This is basic business acumen. Most places have a price with or without the table shower. They did not offer any alternatives. I would suggest you avoid this location until they resolve their pricing issues. This speaks to why I have not been back. This was one of my go to places. But when you increase prices and the massages is just ok, it's easy to elsewhere. They also ask you to pay first. That may be an indication of the quality of the massage. Taking money up front does not inspire confidence. About a block away, heading towards 316 is Meet Me at Massage. They have a great looking facility, very bright and cheerful and their massage includes a free self shower, if you choose. The quality of the massage is the same as BD. But the facility looks much better. I'll check back after the holidays to see if they have made in adjustments and share my feedback.
