    Chicken gyro
    Zenobia B.

This restaurant has a LOT of options for you to choose from, which makes the name of this place make even more sense: whatever you're craving, they've likely got it! While most of my crew seemed to enjoy their food, I thought mine was just okay.. I got a chicken gyro with fries and a lavender lemonade. I truly liked the lemonade, it was sweet and refreshing. However, my fries came out borderline cold and the gyro was soggy, falling apart, and just overall not very well put together. The flavor was okay, but I've had better and I wouldn't get it again. I often wonder: if you have so many things on your menu, how you can have everything be good? Perhaps this was just one of the items that fell through the cracks, so to speak. The inside was spacious and the desserts on display looked appetizing but I didn't get any. You do order at the counter and then they deliver it to your table.

Eat here! But be patient. Tables fill up fast on the weekends. First you grab a table. Check out the menu. Which is very extensive. Order at counter. It's always clean and well maintained. We had a party of 8 at 10am. Got lucky with our table! The chilaquiles and two fried eggs with green sauce-outstanding. Chicken and waffles was enjoyed by my boy. The chicken was crunchy and flavorful. The pancakes are fluffy goodness. Seriously, eat here.

First visit at local spot with my friends for breakfast. Open seating, very spacious. Decor is rustic with high ceilings and a little industrial but the contrast works and feels warm. Lots of light and big screen TV looks like a great place to watch sports. Cafeteria style, order up front and they bring to your table. I checked out the menu the night before and had already settled on getting pancakes. When I got there I was a little bit more hungry so I decided to get a side of bacon as well as fresh squeeze juice. I really enjoy fresh squeeze juice (I saw a little sign) and I did not see that on the menu so I thought I would try it. Orange and carrot juice is my go to. Pancakes were good, bacon crispy and juice was refreshingly delicious. I admit my meal was a bit pricey -I wish I had seen the specials that were advertised outside on the outside only restaurant window. I wouldn't have ordered everything ala cart. My total was $32 including tip. I believe in supporting local businesses but even for me that busted my budget for breakfast. Would be a nice spot for small groups too. I will definitely be back to try one of their daily breakfast special.

First time here but it definitely won't be the last. I asked the staff which was more popular breakfast burrito or chorizo burrito. He said definitely chorizo burrito and he was not wrong. Really good flavor. It seemed like it was homemade because it didn't have that store bought orange grease dripping all over. You get a choice of salad or chips. I chose the chips. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. A little container of green salsa came with the meal. Next time I need to ask for the red. The burrito didn't need anything else so I used the green salsa for my chips. I ate everything! I didn't realize I didn't eat anything the rest of the day until I went to bed! It's a "self" serve type of restaurant. You grab a menu when you walk in. Order at the counter and they give you a table number. They'll bring your food out to you. If you want anything there's a long counter near the "bar". Take out containers, all the condiments. They do have napkin dispenser and salt and pepper on the table. They have a refreshing cucumber lemon also for self service. The space is very rustic industrial. I love the spacious restaurant. It's very ADA friendly with a ramp leading to the bathroom. Everything was kept very clean and tidy. Highly recommend for groups. Everyone orders individually at the counter. No "mathing" needs to be done after you have a full belly. The only downside is parking. They don't have any public lots on their side of the street. There is one hour free parking on Maclay but it is on the same block as other popular restaurants.

We stumbled upon this gem in the heart of San Fernando in mid-February, and I'm glad we did. It's truly a family-friendly spot with plenty of street parking. The space is large and open, with lots of tables that can accommodate different party sizes, and the music set a nice, relaxed vibe. The food was great. We tried the crunchy French toast topped with banana, Nutella, and strawberries -- BOMB. We also ordered the breakfast sausage bagel, which was satisfying and perfect if you want something filling without being too heavy. The orange juice tasted fresh, which is always a plus. The only thing I'd suggest improving is the coffee -- unfortunately, it wasn't great. Service-wise, the staff was friendly and organized. Each waitress handled her own section, and everything from the tables to the floors was clean. As for pricing: tip was not included (as of Feb 2026). We paid $44 for two breakfasts and two drinks, which feels fair for the current market. Will I come back? YES.

The ambiance is open and cozy with industrial vibes. Right out the gate, U Crave lives up to its core concept--you'll find something here for just about any craving. It's truly a one-stop shop, offering a wide range of options: BBQ, artisan sandwiches, salads, sides, desserts, coffee, soups of the day, pasta, burgers, and flexible vegetarian choices. If you're new, note that it's a semi-self-serve setup. You order at the register and they'll bring the food to your table, but water and to-go containers are self-serve. The staff seemed a bit impatient when I didn't immediately catch on--cue the lingering "duh" look --but nothing deal-breaking. My go-to order so far is the fried chicken panini with a large side of potato salad for about $3 extra, which is honestly a solid deal. As a self-proclaimed condiment queen, this place passed the test. The chipotle sauce and garlic pesto are chef's kiss--absolutely delicious. The only real caveat is parking, which can be tricky depending on the time of day. There is outdoor seating available, though it's not the best spot if you're looking to study or work. Overall, a great casual spot with variety, value, and flavor.

This is my spot for breakfast! My go to is the breakfast burritos soo yummy! They also have pretty good coffee. Service is always good always greeted with a smile. It definitely gets packed on the weekend but wait time isn't bad.

I was craving a crepe and UCRAVE delivered! Ordered the black and white crepe and it was so delicious! So much nutella, lechera, and lots of bananas! The portions are huge and very share-able! The team was very kind as well! Checking in regularly and making sure we were okay. I appreciated the comfortable couch seating and the chill, casual ambiance. Great spot to check out, especially if you have a sweet tooth!

Nice "self serve" restaurant (buy food, seat yourself and they will bring food to you. Especially nice because they opened for LONG hours. Very comfortable environment with couches and tables. Amazing menu with all day breakfasts, sandwich, salad, taco, pancake, crepe etc etc. Very reasonable price. Saw a lot so different kind of people here, families, students, and friends just gathered. We tried the fish taco and shrimp taco. Both excellent and fresh. Would recommend this place to people that happen to be in that neighborhood.

    The club sandwich
    Britney P.

With the menu being the brightest you'll ever see a menu be, you'd think that the food wouldn't be as great or the portions might not be as big. I've been here a couple of times and every time I visit I am genuinely surprised!! Everything I've had here is amazing, my most recent visit being my favorite. I had no idea that the club sandwich would be so big!!! Haha I took the leftovers home and had food for the entire day. The chocolate cake dessert blew me away, if you're a huge chocolate lover you're going to find this so delicious! The matcha latte with oat milk was also so yummy! I definitely recommend any of their sandwiches and paninis the most, they're so filling and flavorful with fresh ingredients always. The service has always been nice here, no issues ever and they'll answer any questions you have without hesitation. Thank you for having me :)

Strawberry crepes with Nutella and powder sugar on the side
    Peter X.

It been a while since I came to this UCrave location but since my wife and I was in the area, she was craving some crepes. We were lucky to find street parking just down the block so we walk to this place. I had to use the bathroom and my wife was craving crepes so it all worked out. They were not busy at all when we came, so I was able to just walk to the counter to place our order. I asked for the Nutella and powder sugar to be on the side because they tend to put a lot on or in the crepe. The men bathroom here is very dark since the light is very dim so be aware. They made the strawberry crepes quick and we took it home to eat it. The crepes was very good and the strawberry was delicious.

Avocado Toast with Bacon and The Club Sandwich
    Analiea M.

This cafe is adorable! They have a large menu with a different variety of things to choose from. We stopped in for brunch and it was really yummy! They are a little on the pricey side, this whole meal was about $65 with out tip included. They are a small business though so I can understand. Their service is pretty good and the girls that helped us were very nice. The vibes are very relaxed in here, you could work remotely or join a friend for a lunch date. I would recommend.

Be warned--the burgers come with a heaping pile of lettuce, so if that's not your thing, ask for light lettuce. The chili cheese fries are another must-try item--rich, cheesy, and perfectly seasoned. I've also tried the spicy chicken, which was tasty and satisfying. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the overall experience even better. For years, Tommy's has been an all-cash spot, but they now accept credit cards, which is a nice convenience. While the dining room could use a little sprucing up, it's a minor issue when the food tastes this good. If you're craving a classic, well-made burger with great sides, Tommy's is the place to go.

She usually go and get me to go, so I already tried their Cheeseburgers and Spicy Chicken burger here before and I thought it was alright. The main issue I would say here is they only accept cash even though at the drive thru window, they had credit card stickers that they accept. The other issue is the wait because they don't make your order until you basically order it. So I got a carna asada burrito and asked for no beans. They person said it come with rice and then afterwards said they ran out of rice. So the burrito is just asada, cheese, salsa and onion. We were the only car in the drive thru and we had to wait like 20 minutes before our was ready which was not ideal. The person behind us even got out of their car to see what was taking so long. My wife like her chicken sandwich and I thought the asada burrito was good but it's really greasy. I also didn't like their red salsa. I don't think it's worth the wait here

I had a pretty frustrating experience ordering from For The Win today, which completely defeated…read morethe purpose of ordering ahead. I placed an online order through their website, and it quoted about a 25-minute prep time with a ready window around 2:56 -3:06 PM. I planned accordingly and even arrived earlier so I could pick it up fresh and avoid waiting. However, just five minutes after placing the order, I received a text saying it was already ready. That immediately raised a red flag, because if you're paying $13+ for a double burger, you expect it to be made closer to your arrival time, not immediately. When I arrived, the burger was already cold. When I brought this up, the employee I spoke with repeatedly said "it's not my fault" and pointed to someone else, instead of taking any ownership or even acknowledging the issue. It was a really poor way to handle a simple customer concern. Eventually, after some back and forth, the burger was remade, but I had to wait another 10-15 minutes. And ironically, it took longer to make it this time than it did after I placed the online order. But then now I wa stuck waiting defeating the whole purpose of ordering ahead. A manager eventually came over and was polite, but by that point the experience had already been frustrating. They also threw away the original burger instead of offering to let me keep it, which felt wasteful. On top of that, when I asked for a couple cups of water for my daughter, I was told I'd need to purchase a bottle, which felt pretty tone-deaf given the situation and didn't even think to offer me any anything for the misunderstanding and having to wait extra time now... The bigger issue here is the lack of coordination and communication. If you're going to quote customers a pickup time, especially for hot food, the order should be made accordingly--not immediately after it's placed. Otherwise, you're guaranteeing that the food won't be fresh when the customer arrives. Between the timing issue, the lack of ownership from staff, and the overall handling of the situation, this was a disappointing experience. I usually like the food, but the service and process today really need improvement.

We're not from the area, but we grew up in the San Fernando Valley, so we definitely know about the hype surrounding Queens Burgers. My husband had actually been here back in his younger days, but this was my first time. It was July, over 100 degrees, and incredibly humid, so we were honestly debating whether to just eat in the truck because we had to get back to LA. My husband went inside first and came back saying, "We can eat inside." So we decided to give it a try. Walking in felt like stepping back in time. This place has that true old-school burger stand feel. The classic benches and tables, the bars on the windows, and that nostalgic atmosphere you just don't find at modern burger places anymore. Now, full disclosure: it was HOT inside. There's no air conditioning and not much ventilation, and with the temperature outside being over 100 degrees, we were sweating like crazy. We ate pretty quickly and headed out. If you're visiting on a scorching summer day, just be prepared for the heat! But the FOOD? SO GOOD. I ordered a chili cheeseburger, something I hadn't had in years, and it brought back so many childhood memories. I honestly didn't think I was going to finish the whole thing... but I did! It was that good. My husband and my son each got a combo as well. My son had the regular cheeseburger, and he really enjoyed it too. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you want from an old-school burger spot. And even though the place was packed, with people constantly coming in for to-go orders and every table being occupied, the service was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and quick. We had barely walked in before someone greeted us and took our order, and our food came out surprisingly fast. Would I come back? Absolutely. Especially for that chili cheeseburger and the nostalgia factor. Just maybe not on a 100+ degree day.
