I got more calls leading up to the move to confirm and make sure they were ready to greet the new customer. They called a couple times the day of to confirm arrival time s they would be prepared. In the end, I got delayed and could not get there on the arrival day before the office closed at 7pm (for new customers). So I had to scramble and find another place closer to me but farther from where I wanted it that was open an hour later when I arrived. A bad day for me. Arthur's customer service was so above and beyond what was expected (and had great prices) I'd go back to them in a heartbeat.

That certainly wasn't the case here. Izzy went so far as to provide pricing breakdown for various options. I feel someone else in her shoes wouldn't have been so helpful and instead redirected me to their website. She took the time to explain everything and we didn't feel rushed or pressured. Extending our unit was never an issue and whenever we spoke to anyone on the phones they were always willing to answer all questions. The only downside is there's only one trolley! For the amount of units, there should be at least 2 per entryway. So I'd recommend getting one of your own, especially if you have a larger unit. It's a good investment and would be handy for future use. Overall I'd recommend this facility.

When you go on the website, it's even CHEAPER there NOW ($72) ! So you're telling me if i got a storage unit today you're going to change my price next month! Thats a scam! If you were going to do that then you should have said "offering this for 3 months and then pay in full", but it's wasn't. I am inconvenienced and want this rectified.

MICE INFESTATION!!!!1 I had an awful experience at the Extra…read moreSpace Storage location on Jersey Ave and would not recommend it to anyone. First, the unloading setup is terribly designed. There are only two unloading spots available, which means only two vehicles can unload at a time. If the facility is even moderately busy, you'll likely end up parking elsewhere and carrying all of your belongings across the property to your unit. To make matters worse, there are no ramps in the unloading area--only stairs. Unless you're driving a large truck that can back directly up to the loading docks, be prepared to lift and carry everything by hand. The biggest issue, however, is the mouse infestation. While moving items into my unit, I actually saw a mouse run out of it. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to find another storage option, so I stayed. That turned out to be a huge mistake. When I eventually moved out, there was mouse feces throughout the unit. Boxes, pictures, and personal belongings had been covered in droppings. It was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable for a facility that people pay to trust with their possessions. At the end of the day, you're paying monthly rent just to have rodents damage and contaminate your belongings. I will not be returning to this location in the foreseeable future. Save yourself the frustration, inconvenience, and potential damage to your property and look elsewhere.

As my family and I were moving my items from their unit warehouse to our own truck we rented because the owner was going to charge us too much money for his employees to do it, EVERY BOX or piece we moved had broken, missing or damaged sections/items. the owner watched us as we took each box literally blaming us because we "touched it". the owner of this company is FOUL and nothing I owned was packed with care. I'm now finally unpacking, and I have THOUSANDS of dollars of damaged and missing items. I will one hundred percent be reporting them to the BBB and I hope they get stripped of all of their awards. It's not a super clean place, but it's a storage room, so what do you expect? That being said, one thing I found that to me was a bit dangerous, is you have to make sure where you put your head, because the ceiling above your storage space is extremely hard, and you could get a really big bruise, because of the low ceiling if you hit your head there. I rented the furniture dolly and standard dolly for 4 hours but it took 1.5 hours longer than I thought. I reserved my truck the day before and I was able to pick up with no issues at all. They explained my responsibilities and what I was signing for and the potential cost. I was on my way in no time. The truck was very clean and drove very nicely back and forth from SI to NJ. It was 15 foot truck which for my washer and dryer, shoe collection, clothes collection and book collection as well as all my cleaners, vacuum cleaner, mops, suit cases and paperwork and a filing cabinet perfectly! When I got back they filled up my truck again so helpful as I was hesitant to back up the truck. As a woman you think can I drive a truck and move my stuff and with a little help from my brother in law I did it! The cost was $200 for renting of truck, the two dolly's, gas and tolls for 5.5 hours which was great price and so worth it! This was a five star experience! I highly recommend renting your uhaul from this location!
