I was very concerned about getting a lemon or taken advantage of, but I needed a reliable car. I received wonderful service at Harper Motors even though I was purchasing a used vehicle. The staff were patient, informative and I never felt pressured to close a quick deal. I was very happy with my selection of a 2022 Toyota Corolla. The vehicle had been in a minor accident and the Carfax was provided. After several months, the repair from the accident did not hold properly. I felt sick thinking I was stuck with a $2,000.00 fix (quoted by a local repair shop). I didn't know how Harper Motors would respond but I thought it was worth contacting them before getting the repair done. They were incredible. They set up the work with a repair shop they use and the issue was resolved free of charge for me. I am so impressed with their willingness to back their product. I only got one key with the car and was very concerned about losing it. I paid the $300.00 plus price and ordered a key/fob through Toyota. The day I had the car repaired, I also had an appointment to get my new key programmed. While at Toyota, they asked if I also wanted a complimentary inspection of the car. I agreed and they discovered that the high beam on the passenger side was not working. This is where the impact from the accident had been. I stopped by Harper Motors to see if they would deal with the light issue. Again, I was shocked. The manager was immediately involved and said that it was a serious safety issue for me. They talked to their service department and found that it wasn't a simple fix, such as a bulb replacement. The whole light fixture had to be replaced. I felt that sick feeling again that they might say it was on me to get it fixed. That was not the case. They ordered the light, had me schedule with their repair shop to get the light installed. The bumper that was just fixed from the Carfax accident had to be removed. They were not irritated at all. The car is in great condition and I am very thankful for the professionalism of the Harper Motors staff. Note: It appears that the initial repair work on the car was not done by Harper Motors, but they made it good.

I wanted a Kubota. The "local" Kubota dealer (40 mi away) was my 1st stop. I gave them my parameters and my budget. Over 2 months they gave me quotes that were too high and not close to what I wanted. They weren't truthful with me and tried to only sell me what THEY had in their stock. I was driving north on Inst 5 with my wife, discussing my frustration when she said, "... well, are they the only Kubota dealer?" On a whim, she Googled Kubota dealers near me. Up popped Nor Cal Tractor Sales ... (these guys are all part of the same company) ... in Redding CA and they were 10 mi ahead and right off the highway. We walked in, dressed for "Lake Time" and their sales rep (Kris B) was immediately accommodating. I told him my saga and what I had been looking for. Model numbers etc. That's where I learned I'd been misdirected. Kris pointed out the models I was asking about were older and no longer available. They didn't even have them in their rental fleet any longer. Then he showed me the new model ... the one the other guy told was so new they couldn't even get one for 6 mos. ... he had 4 of them. I had given him my budget already, remember? He came in $4k under!!! Then ... cherry on top ... he delivered it for $200!!!

Shame on them for price gouging.

I was in a parking lot after a vehicle accident where the police department had contacted the tow company to assist with the vehicles. I was traveling with my two children and in a rental car. I was on the phone with my insurance company as well as with the rental car company to try and figure out where I needed the car to be towed to. The driver stood next to me and a police officer while I asked him to please return it to the airport rental car location (as opposed to another rental car location that was closer) so that I could get a new rental car. He agreed, and my kids and I received an escort to the rental car location while we awaited delivery of the rental car to the location. After about an hour of waiting, I called the tow company only to find out the driver took the rental car back to the yard. At this point, I realized in the shuffle, I had no receipt, no paperwork, no contact card- just the word of the driver (his name might be Steven) as he was going to be following me over. I thought he was there to help because he was working with the police station. Come to find out that company does not " work with" neither the rental car company nor my insurance company (which of course they never told me in the parking lot.) I tried to explain my situation, as it appeared that was a misunderstanding- this is going to be a claim handled by insurance, I needed a new car and the rental car company needed the old one first. After talking to a horrible woman on the phone, I realized there was no misunderstanding, this company has no problem ripping off people in need. The only resolution Pacific Towing offered in order to release the vehicle was for me to read them my credit card card number over the phone so they could charge me $460.50, and then they would drive the vehicle 12 miles to where we were. She refused my suggestion of having the driver, bring the vehicle and showing me an invoice. I have no receipt, no paperwork whatsoever for this company, and I had to give them my credit card card from the airport in order for them to deliver the vehicle. He eventually showed up at the airport hours later so I could finally get my replacement vehicle and continue my vacation. He offered no apology, only excuses and complaints about how this is going to make the company look bad. How you look someone dead in the face and lie to them and take a vehicle hostage so that you can make money is beyond me.
