We made in online reservation for Tuesday 11/15 and even had 2 phone calls confirming. When we got there, they couldn't find our reservation at all and didn't even know we we had an appt on 11/14 to look at the unit. But the big issue is that after the first full 2 months the price goes back to $49/month. No where online did it say that the price would go back to that, from the promo price. So after seeing that online and talking to 2 separate people on the phone we thought we would get the promo price for the duration of our rental. The only reason we figured it out RIGHT BEFORE SIGNING was because we asked again about the price in person. This is such false advertising and disappointing. In addition, the employee didn't even offer to work anything out. They have lost our business and respect. Update: The day after posting our review we were personally contacted by the property manager. He apologized for our negative experience and offered to make things right. He was straight forward with us and understood our concerns. Since he was willing to correct things and treated us with respect, we decided to give West Coast Storage a second chance. So far it has been a good experience and the facility is very clean. I am happy that the property manager is a stand up individual and did the right thing. Based of our interaction with Raul, I would recommend renting here.

Something weird happened the last time I looked them up. I somehow reached a Yelp page for what looked like Tigard Towing. I mean it actually says Tigard Towing at the top. However when I called, it didn't sound like the same people I've dealt with before. When the truck came out, it wasn't the same company. Not really sure why this other company is using another company's name online but I called the real Tigard Towing and the owner told me to be careful because there is someone trying to use their business name online. Basically just save 971-998-9816 in your phone and you'll be covered. If it's a beautiful red truck showing up for you, then you know those are the right people.

While this facility is new, clean, and staffed with friendly front-desk employees, the general management appears focused on maximizing profits at the expense of long-term customers. They frequently advertise low promotional rates online to attract new customers but raise prices steeply for existing tenants. My wife and I rented a 5x10 unit three years ago on a promotional deal for around $69 per month. After the promotion ended, our rate increased to $89. Over time, we received emails notifying us of further rate hikes: first to $139, then to $179. Meanwhile, as of January 2, 2025, the same "Premium" 5x10 units were advertised on their website for a regular rate of $83, with a promotional offer of two months at half price. This means we were paying more than double the advertised regular rate for the same type of unit. We reached out to management, pointing out that as loyal customers of three years, we were paying far more than even the regular advertised rate. Despite this, their response was to offer a $30 discount--still substantially higher than the listed rate for new customers. While the facility itself is well-maintained and convenient, these pricing practices make it difficult to recommend this business for long-term storage needs.

I have never received such horrible treatment like I did from this tow company's front desk person. The tow truck driver is friendly enough but gave incorrect information . They did not notify me of their astronomically ridiculous fees. My car was not in their lot for more than a day and I ended up paying close to $900, to get it out. They neglect to tell you that when you have your car towed to their lot you will pay out the nose just to be treated badly. They also neglect to tell you that, no, you cannot just go in and out and get what you need from your car, you have to set an appointment, and God forbid if it isn't your car. The registered owner has to go in and get your things from the car. Yes I know it's better to grab your things before the car is towed but if a police officer is yelling at you stating that you can get it later and the tow truck drivers are saying the same thing, you have to let the car be towed and you can get it later. If I had known this I would have pushed a little harder and had the police officer wait for a tow company who actually listened to me about where I wanted the car towed. NOT GOOD AT ESTIMATING: All of this AND original estimate $8K, Revised estimate after they had the truck for 2 months $21K. THEY DON'T ACTUALLY WORK ON THE VEHICLE: At this point ZERO work has been completed except disassembly. They make you sign every page Quadruple Extra Bonus: That document was written by a monkey. And I fricking hate monkeys. The number of errors and outdated information in their contract is ridiculous. Who cares if they do a good job on repairs if they never actually do the repairs.
