The gentleman that assisted us were very welcoming and friendly and they had a great promotion for a 5x10 storage for $49 a month so we took it! Also, we had our u-haul trailer that needed to get dropped off at another location, but we were able to drop it off at Storage Max which saved us time and made it so much easier! I highly recommend to come here, great service and great staff :)

I booked it at 10:40am to pick up at 2:30pm. At 1:45, as I was on my way, I received a call from a lady who said they didn't have the size truck I ordered. I asked if anywhere near them had one, she put me on hold. 10 mins later, she still had not switched back to give me an answer, and because I was so close I went by anyways. As I walked in, she was on a PERSONAL phone call...while I was still on hold waiting for her answer. She got up, and a male worker started to help me. I asked why they didn't call me sooner to inform me they didn't have the size truck I ordered, his response, "we were busy outside." I agreed to get the next biggest size truck. He asked if I wanted the insurance, which I declined, he handed me a paper and said this needs to be filed out. I asked if he would explain it to me. His response "call your insurance company they'll give you the answers. I'm gonna be outside getting your truck ready." At this point, I grabbed my ID from the counter and told them I would no longer be renting a truck from them. RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE.

Rented a van for an annual outing we have with my run group. This was our 4th year going but 1st…read moretime renting from Capps because the prior company closed/moved. We rented a van on a Friday evening and returned it Saturday afternoon. They were closed by then but also assured me that they could see when I would return the van because they have cameras. I received a phone call the next Tuesday afternoon stating the van was returned damaged and they needed my insurance, etc to file a claim. We went back and forth and they sent me a picture of the dent damage. No paint was missing but they provided me with pictures of a dent about 6 inches long. They also told me they had cameras all over their lot and they could prove the van was returned by me damaged if they had to. I let my insurance company deal with them and then a couple of months later I received a bill from the Capps claim mgmt company for $3100. For a dent 6 inches long. Capps tried to claim $1400 in restore fees, $1300 in loss of use and other misc charges. For a dent 6 inches long. Oh and of course when pressed by our insurance company for the camera footage naturally the cameras were not working at that location that day. I guess if they can't make money off of rental fees then they try and scam the public for bogus vehicle damage charges.

Then, on day prior to U-box drop off, I received a text from this location with a 3 hour time window. The boxes were dropped off on time. After it was all loaded, they came back the following day to pick up the boxes; all done with out me having to be there. The boxes were then transported to my final destination in Denver. The boxes were in excellent condition and was clean on the inside. It came with 2 dozen moving pads per box. I would recommend looking into renting these for moving or simply just for temporary storage.

The guy then promptly offered a 15' for the same price! Heck yes!i was moving from a Town home to a house and the extra room meant less back and forth! When I signed up the system wanted to charge me by the mile (I didn't have a lot of distance to go so I did it)... when I got there the guy fixed it to a set amount no charge! Literally he could have left it and I would have just paid but unsolicited he just corrected it in the system and saved me the money. I got there to get it and because I had done all the prework on line it took like 5 mins to get my truck. The guy was great even with a bit of a computer slowdown, it was fast too! I basically got my 15' truck for 4 days and an appliance dolly for under 100$! And didn't wait at all. How could I not give a great review!!

Its a freaking LONG drive!! But I called Longhorn and told them about my concerns and their pricing was much better than U-Haul or Penske or even one way trips from Vegas to Austin. I have to say they did great with customer service in every way...I told them I had one hell of a trip coming up with 20hrs there and back and over 40hrs driving and here's what I rented and what they did to the truck before I rented it to make sure by trip was safe and without problems. - 15 ft, 2019 Box Truck with only 40,000 miles - New front tires - New brakes - Oil change - Diesel fuel and diesel exhaust fuels both full And they gave me their repair tech's cell number to call anytime on the road in case of problems or concerns. Seriously I got treated very well and I just finished my grueling three day drive and dropped the truck off. Also went through a snow storm in AZ around Flagstaff and this truck handled just fine thanks to the new front tires they put on for me. The miles I paid were 15 cents a miles compared to way over 70-90 cents a mile charged by U-Haul or Penske and the rental was very affordable and also my Geico Insurance covered the truck no problem at no extra charge. This is my 5 STAR review for Longhorn Rentals since I have read so many bad reviews on here and I had a really quality experience renting from them! My advice, make sure you know that the truck you are renting has good tires, oil change, good care and give Longhorn a try since they are priced way better than other truck rentals and their customer service rocked!
