While we were moving in, she offered us water and checked on us several times to make sure we were doing okay and had everything we needed. That may seem like a small thing, but it really stood out to us. Debbie was friendly, welcoming, and attentive without making us feel rushed. You could tell she actually cared about how our move-in was going. It's rare to find customer service where someone takes the extra time to check on you after the rental is already completed. We were so pleased with the experience that about two weeks later we came back and rented a second storage unit. That probably says more than anything else about how comfortable we felt doing business here. CubeSmart was a great find, and having someone like Debbie there makes it even better. When we returned to pick everything up, we were horrified to find our belongings covered in rat feces, smelling strongly of cigarette smoke, and damp and moldy. No one should have to worry about their personal belongings being exposed to rodent waste or the potential serious health risks associated with it, including hantavirus. The amount of rodent feces and the unsanitary conditions are extremely concerning, and I believe the local Board of Health should be made aware of this potential health hazard. We trusted this facility with our daughter's belongings, and the condition we found them in was completely unacceptable. People pay for storage with the expectation that their belongings will be kept in a clean, dry, and reasonably safe environment--not returned contaminated with rodent feces, mold, moisture, and cigarette odor. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for storage.

I had to call back and make sure it was set to be delivered the following morning, and had to confirm a time. They do give a window for the dumpster drop off, but it arrived right at the beginning. Best part- you don't have to be there when they come to pick it up as long as you've followed their guidelines!

The drive up outdoor units need to be dug out and then won't close. Bring a shovel and be prepared to wrestle with the door and lock. I moved to a storage facility near by that took snow into consideration and built their units raised off the ground, rolling doors that have some forgiveness of 1/2 an inch to account for snow built up.

Despite that, my rent was increased by $30 every THREE months, effectively tripling the annual cost for a very small unit. What makes this even more insulting is that the exact same size unit was being advertised to new customers for 1/4 of what I was paying. That tells me very clearly how this company treats loyalty: they punish existing customers while baiting new ones with lower prices. I raised this issue and was told a district manager would call me to discuss and make an adjustment. That call never happened. No district manager could spare five minutes to contact a long term, consistently paying customer. The on site service was just as bad. One employee, Amanda, was extremely unprofessional, dismissive, and rude, making an already frustrating situation worse. Her behavior was completely inappropriate for a customer facing role. In contrast, Ashley was the only employee who showed professionalism, courtesy, and basic decency--and she deserves credit for that. Overall, this location demonstrates predatory pricing practices, terrible customer service, and zero respect for loyal customers. After two years of dependable business, I was treated as disposable. I would strongly caution anyone considering this location to think twice, especially if you plan to stay longer than the introductory rate period.

They at least were willing to tow my truck to another mechanic, after some coercing on my part, but not until after they charged me over $200 for not doing anything. I took a chance on this place because the tow truck driver was nice and accommodating at the time so I wanted to give them business. It ended in bitter disappointment. Not good business.
