**During Covid** I made appointment online but unfortunately the date that you pick is not really official until you receive a text message and or email from U-Haul confirming the date. I learned that hard way for this location but still after that little hump in the road and having to reschedule I made it there as the new confirmed time and date. After that it was pretty much easy I dropped off my vehicle which they gave me an option to stay inside since there were really no one there or I could come back but I decided to just go for a walk and they said they will call me back once they were done. It took about an hour which they did quote me that and it was all set and done had to come back in to sign some papers. I was all set I'm very pleased with my trailer hitch which I will be using for transporting my bike; they made sure to put protection cover in my car while it was in use by them. read more

Stopped in on 08-16-21 to schedule an appointment for a hitch installation on a Chevy Silverado. The appointment was scheduled for 08-19, at 10 AM. The morning of the appointment, about 9:30 AM, they called and said they didn't have the hitch in stock, we needed to reschedule. The appointment was rescheduled for 08-24 at 10 AM. On 08-24, at 8:15 AM, I received a call informing me they still didn't have a hitch, but had ordered one for overnight delivery... but it hadn't arrived yet. They stated they would call once they had the hitch in stock, and then we could schedule an appointment for installation. I'm going to a local family-owned business that has an excellent reputation. 1 star, only because I can't leave a zero star review. read more

Scheduled hitch install for 1300 hrs; called and inquired about dropping vehicle off early; was told absolutely that they prefer that. Dropped vehicle off and was told they would call upon completion. 1345 hrs I receive a call from UHaul. I presume they are going to tell me that my vehicle is ready. No, they tell me that the hitch was never in stock and they want to reschedule. Why would they not check before 1 allowing me to drop off my vehicle and at the very least check before my scheduled time. Now it's already to late to get my vehicle in somewhere else. All they want to do is make excuses as to why they can't uphold there end of the bargain. This is the second attempt at having a hitch installed at UHaul and it was my last. I would NEVER use them for anythin. Horrible customer service. read more

I hauled a vintage motorcycle with one of their purpose built motorcycle trailers and was very impressed. The trailer was perfect, and I was able to load, tie down, and unload a Harley without assistance. it cost me $15 for 6 hours The staff was fast and professional. If you need to move a cycle without RIDING it, this is the best option. read more

I was shopping for a company to install a trailer hitch/ball/wiring on my 2012 CR-V. After calling a few places, Uhaul provided me the best price and turn time (1-2 hrs) over the phone. I called back the next day, and was provided with another price quote when I went to schedule, which was slightly higher, but whatever no big deal. When I scheduled the appointment, I had asked what the time frame was to have this completed. On the phone, I was told 1-2 hours. I scheduled it for 10am on Tuesday, and had maded arrangements around a 1-2 hour time frame of having the car completed. My husband went to drop off the car, and he was told that they'd have the car done "sometime before 5". Seemed a little strange considering we were told it'd take 2 hours max, but he figured they would get it done right away since we dropped it off right at 10. So, my husband is on Telegraph, with no car, just waiting for the call to come in that the car is done. Fast forward to 3pm (which has now been 5 hours) and I call to ask about the status of the car. They say it still has not been completed. When I press them about the 2 hour quote I was given, the person on the phone says, "Well our order sheet says a 6 hour turn time on this car" which would put us at 4pm. Really frustrating, right? I chose this company for the quick turn time and price, just to find out my husband gets to spend his entire day waiting for his car to be finished. All in all, he did not get out of there until 5:20- almost 7.5 hours for them to complete the work. Just to install the trailer hitch, ball, and wiring for a small SUV! I am kicking myself for not going to a local-owned company nearby that was going to charge me $50 more- I'm sure they would have gotten it done in a timely manner. read more

I ordered ahead online thinking I could just pop in and pick up my order. WRONG. I had to wait for an employee to go around and pick up my items. What was the whole point of ordering ahead? I was VERY upset that, during this pandemic, not one single customer, aside from myself, OR staff was wearing a face mask. Sorry, I'll never go to this place again. read more

I've gotten two trucks from here before, and each time, I was satisfied with my rental and service. This place is huge (in comparison to other U-Haul locations). Both times, my truck operated perfectly, as opposed to one time I rented from another location and got a truck that handled like a shopping cart. The second time, I needed a truck on very short notice, and they had a wide array to choose from on the spot. I rented a 14' foot truck for the day, and in the end, it cost me $72 to move my entire one-bedroom apartment. Even if I didn't make it back in time before they closed, they have an overnight stipulation where you can drop your truck off after hours with no additional charges. Each time, I ordered my rental in person and was in and out with my truck in less than 15 minutes. Great customer service and quality products, even if they are at fairly high U-Haul prices. read more
