Victor, Tim, and Daniel were awesome. They arrived on time, communicated extremely well, kept a positive attitude (despite the 3rd story walk-up!) and worked hard and consistently the entire time. We were very happy with their service, price, and attitude. It was easy to schedule, too. Additionally, they brought blankets, tape, and plastic to wrap the furniture and protect while in storage. They had a great system to maximize storage use and packing into the truck. Not having to rent (or drive) a moving truck--or deal with U-Haul--was a relief on it's own! WOW! From the moment I interacted with the company, I experienced nothing but professionalism, efficiency, and class. I looked on Yelp on Sunday night and contacted 5 moving companies for their bids to find the best deal for the best rating. I heard back via Yelp message within 15 minutes or less!!! I got to speak with an employee on the phone, got the date I wanted (that Thursday, merely 4 days later), and they texted to confirm. I asked about preferred payment and they requested cash at the end of the move. Victor was the lead on my move and he was fabulous! He called a half hour before the 8am move time to inform me that he was on his way with his team, Omar and Cesar. It was a complicated move from a one bedroom in South Seattle/Boulevard Park to Capitol Hill, and I also needed them to drop off a couch, bookshelf, desk, and TV to Goodwill. They were courteous and flexible. And bless them, my apartment complex I moved from was built by a sadistic architect with no empathy for movers, as it has an outdoor flight of stairs in the shape of a lightening bolt from hell. They had to hoist my couch over the outside banister and lower it about a half a floor below to their teammates. It was hellacious and I felt so bad, but they were nothing but valiant. I also had a super heavy wine cooler/mini fridge, and boxes of books that weighed a ton. They hardly flinched and were hardworking and kind. Unloading was much better with a ramp at my new place and an elevator. They asked where I wanted things and were very careful with everything. I have had some awful moves in Los Angeles to the point that when I moved back to Seattle I suckered my friends into helping me move, out of fear of jerky movers and unnecessary stress. As a single 30-year-old woman, I felt nothing but comfortable and stress-free. They even finished 30min earlier even with taking my unwanted furniture to goodwill! The quote I received was what I was charged, and I gave a tip and have gushed nonstop about how amazing these guys are to anyone who will listen. YOU WILL NOT REGRET HIRING THEM! I don't write many reviews, but I thought I'd mention the hard work and endurance these guys have. We moved three truckloads of stuff with five guys till one in the morning from eight the previous morning and the crew with Omar, Victor, Jean Paul, Jesus, and Rafi? did it all. They also found some missing parts and a stepladder that were left in a truck and returned the items to us, no problem. The only reason I didn't go five stars, was that my wife noticed some scuffs on some furniture, which can happen, but maybe preventable with more wrapping. These are a great bunch of movers, friendly, hard working and I would use them again, worth the money and easy to deal with. read more

I hired these guys to move some patio furniture at my house. And some really, really, really heavy cement planters. Oh yeah, and my hot tub too. They did an amazing job. Showed up, worked really hard, no standing around or excessive breaks. Most everything was stupid heavy and had to go up or down stairs. They did it with a great attitude. I lived on the third floor (brutal stairs) and was shocked by their level of care with my things and their punctuality arriving and getting me packed up and into my new space. I hired Ben's for moving stuff from my one bedroom apartment to another in the Redmond area. I'd requested only 2 men and a truck, but to my pleasant surprise, 3 men showed up(they charged me only for 2). These guys are super efficient and professional. They had my furniture neatly wrapped in blankets and plastic wrap, and loaded up in no time. At the destination, they had to take it up three short flights of stairs, but they made small work of it without any issues. My couch was too big to fit through the entry, but they were equipped to dismantle the legs, took the precaution of unscrewing the light bulbs in the entry way, and put everything back together once inside. 10 on 10 would hire them again for any move. read more

Omar and his crew are the best. We are real estate agents and have lots of elderly clients in buildings with crazy moving rules. They are always on time (or early) and do whatever we need them to do. Update on my original review- within minutes of posting my 1 star review, Ben texted me and said he would return my mirror and issue a receipt. Wow, the power of a yelp review! I asked 3 times over the last 4 months with no success, previously. He did, indeed, return the mirror and email a receipt. (Thank you, Ben.) Unfortunately, I don't think he keeps any business records, he didn't know the date of service, how much I paid or any of my contact information. He offered a future move at 50% off to remove my review, but I will stick with my regular movers and will happily pay more for professionalism. Victor, Donny, Marcos and Pepe moved us out of our 4 story townhouse in West Seattle to a 2 story home in Normandy Park. These guys were fantastic. They showed up right on time and immediately got to work. They handled everything with extreme care. They are extremely skilled at removing larger pieces through narrow stairways. Really a fantastic group of guys. Our move took 4 hours with Ben's. They never slowed down. I would totally recommend them. One warning - they are very casual about business to the point I was worried they were not legitimate. Arrangements were made via text message - no contracts or email. They accept cash only. These guys were so efficient and respectful. We moved everything and saved the big stuff for them. They were on time and worked quickly. We had Victor, Omar, Jefferson, and Jose. They worked well together and were very careful with our things. They were easy to set up with. They only charged for time at the pickup house and stopped at drive off time. Most places wanted to charge us for travel to and from as well. They did charge a little more for gas $30 more than expected. But all things considered....great job. read more

I only have good things to say about Ben's Moving and Delivery, Donny, Rafael and Cesar made the pain of moving so much easier. We have moved so many times in the years that we have been married and these guys were the most professional, efficient and thoughtful movers we have ever worked with. Since we have moved so often the bolts that keep our bed together were completely stripped, making it very difficult for them to dismantle the bed. I was able to replace the bolts and they removed the bolts that were on the bed in a very creative way. I appreciate people who think outside of the box and make things happen when it may have seemed impossible. I would recommend these guys to anyone who is moving, the price was right and the work they did was exceptional. read more

My company used Bens Moving twice already before and were really impressed. Good rate, reliable, and prompt. BUT, we went ahead and booked them for a 3rd time, they did not show up at all! We called to confirm days before the move just to make sure we're good to go but on the day of the move, they simply did not show up, no call, no returning of the several calls we made. It's terrible when your schedule and all other logistical arrangement rely on the movers fulfilling their commitment. Reliability is a must when it comes to moving so we will be moving with someone else reliable for our next moves. It is a shame because we really liked our first 2 experiences with them but this one bad experience just trumped the 2 good ones. read more

Donny, Victor, Raphael, and Cesar were AMAZING!! This team was Strong, Efficient, Careful, Courteous and extremely hard working. They moved my 5 bedroom house in 98 degree weather and did not miss a beat. They were careful to cover the items with blankets or wrap, had the tools they needed, and put down runners to protect my floors. I have moved many times and these guys were the best! Any moving needs I have I will be calling them. I highly recommend them for any type of move. Because my leasing office messed up somebody else was moving the same time and we had to use an elevator on the other side of the complex. The movers dealt with it like professionals! Donny, Rafael and Cesar did a fantastic job helping us move three bedrooms' worth of stuff from a moving truck into a three story (!) house. We were only charged for two movers, but all three of them showed up so they could do an efficient job as they had another move scheduled later in the day. They were fast, courteous and careful, and made sure all our furniture ended up exactly where it needed to go. As noted in other reviews, communication was all through phone or text message and an invoice is provided only upon request. However, they were the easiest to reach of all the companies I attempted to contact, and responded quickly throughout the process. I have used professional movers a number of times, and they rank at the top. Very competitive rates as well - I moved from Nashville and am facing sticker shock for most other things, but not this!
