I am very picky when it comes to my nails and this is my favorite nail spa thus far! I've been coming here for a few years now and have always has a pleasant experience. The establishment is very clean. Andy is my nail artist and he's the best! He's very meticulous and a perfectionist. For pedicures Anna is great. Wendy is also good with pedis. Appointments are recommended because like anything good, there's always a wait. . . I see many negative reviews based on the customer service. Horrible service. Lady that did my manicure was extremely rough, keep coughing without covering her mouth and was taking care of personal calls during my manicure. Didn't provide a detailed and satisfactory manicure. I had to tell her she didn't clean one hand (cuticle) as she did the other. I went in for COFFIN nails and left with "coffin" aka regular squared shaped nails. The lady i got at station 5 is nice but cannot do acrylic nails! In fact none of the ladies working here know how to do good acrylics. All the male nail technicians can do them 100x better. My nails are uneven and are placed horribly. I loved the work they did, I had my gel nails done for 20$ and it lasted for about 2 months even with all the work I do with my hands. The only reason it's not getting higher reviews is because of their service. I understand they were rushed but hey, I'm paying you for my nails you're not going it for free! Let's just start with this place is misleading. The inside is really nice but the customer service here is extremely UGLY. I'm gonna try to keep this short. All I asked was for a gel mani with diamonds and that cost me $31! I'm upset with the price because the next morning most of them had fallen off. I will never come here again. I've been on the hunt for the perfect nail salon in the area and after reading reviews, I thought I had found it. To my dismay, it was terrible! The lady who did my pedicure was so rushed I actually flinched a couple of times in pain. She also messed up one of my nails when trying to put my sandal on and instead of redoing the nail, she just put polish on top, leaving me with a goopy nail. The lady that did my nails was nice but my nails were completely lopsided and not straight. My biggest mistake was getting eyelash extensions here. They started poking at me a couple days later which I found out is most likely because she put them on improperly. My eyelashes were all stuck together! I tried to carefully take them off after 2 weeks because I couldn't take it anymore but I still lost about 20 eyelashes on each eye. I have to wear fakes now until they grow back. It was my fist and last time here the lady Vicky that did my nails left 4 of them shorter then other 6 to top it off when I noticed and called back the lady that answers the phone gave me an attitude because I called back. Bad job, bad customer serv, bad experience. Just moved to south gate n try to find a new place for my nail but damn, i would never return here even if it's free. I went in and asked to have my eyebrow wax, full set, n pedi. I've read through yelp so i came in n asked for Andy to do my nails and Lynn for my eyebrows but omg, they did a such a lousy jobs. The nails shape are ok but couple of yhem lift the next day. My eyebrows missing a piece in the left, she even plugged my end. I only told her to clean them, do not shape them but idk what the heck she did :(. I have to grow my eyebrows again. And pedi even worse, her name is diana, she doesn't know how to take ingrown, and kept poking me, i have a really bad infection on the big toes now. read more

Then they try to squeeze me in between doing some other girls nails. No I have naturally thick eyebrows and I don't want them to mess up my eyebrows and thin them out because they're in a rush. Me and my best friend stopped by this salon on a saturday @ 6:30 pm an hr before they close. It was not busy and we did not wait more than 10 mins before we were serviced. We both requested the same service to be done, spa pedicure and regular manicure. The spa pedicure pkgs are overpriced $70.00 for a regular manicure and pedicure service, i think not. We stuck with the $25.00 spa pedicure service and $10.00 manicure service. They provide you with a color swatch so that you can decide what color you want. However, the nail technicians do advise you that you have to choose at least 2 or 3 different colors as they might no longer carry the color. Why display the color if you do not have it??? The pedicure was probably the best part of this horrible experience. The pedicure for both of us was rushed as well as the manicure service. Remember when we arrived they were not busy, so one would assume they would provide a better service. The nail technician for my manicure did not apply any top coat to my nails just a clear polish, as i asked her if it was top coat. I let my nails dry at they mini table fan they provided for at least five minutes. Within the first minute after i left the polish on my nails smeared. I called management to express my concern over this and the guy on the phone told me that is why it is better to get a gel manicure. RUSHED, TERRIBLE SERVICE, OVERPRICED. I will never return to this location. Also, make sure that you ask the nail technicians to sanitize the tools they use as they our nail technicians tried to used tools on us that clearly still had dead skin on them from their prior customers. read more

My manicurist was amazed but not the ladies who did our pedis. I went there last week. I never expected to say this, but worst service ever. I got a pedicure. The girl who did my pedi didn't cut my nail properly. This caused it to get swollen and infected. I called them to let them know. The so called receptionist said come in later when the manager arrives. I did. They were no help at all. The girl looked at my toe. She said she saw nothing. I should have given her my glasses because obviously she is blind. The manager was like come back in 3 days. Let it air. So miss work for 3 days because of something you caused. I don't think so. I most definitely have experienced better quality of service elsewhere. However, it is close to home and decided to give it a try. I did and will not go back. First you should make an appointment if you can't wait over an hour like I did. The price may be lower than other salons, however the quality of work is below satisfactory. I waited over an hour to get a manicure and it only took him 30 minutes to give me a manicure and gel polish. I was unimpressed with the results. Then 3 days later my gel polish was lifting. I went back to get them redone which the woman said they would do and was handed to the guy who did them originally. Then passed to another guy who made me feel like it was too much trouble to fix my nails. They soaked my nails in acetone and chose to only fix four nails that lifted in the acetone. So now the other six will show nail growth before the four they fixed. Terrible customer service! If it was me I would have done everything I could to make sure my customer was impressed by the work I do. The point is to have regular clients. So I thought. I will not be back and I will tell my friends to pass on this nail salon. To end on a positive note...the salon is very clean and nicely decorated. read more

Horrible place! It is very clean but that is the ONE GOOD THING about this place. The owners give off a very unpleasant vibe and I really don't feel comfortable here. At 5' 9" tall I usually walk into a room like I own the place but the lack of people skills and heavy feeling in the air here make me feel meek and tiny. I would seriously put up with just about anything for a job well done on my nails but their nails are mediocre at best. They start to separate after about a week and that's not SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN. And don't get me started on some of the clientele... Old veterana cholas being super loud and obnoxious (probably due to the effects of whatever it is they are sipping out of a brown paper bag) ugh. Mafioso looking men getting mani/ pedis decked out in ugly, loud shirts gold chains and rings and having their beer brought to them from a mini fridge. On top of all that DONT EVEN THINK OF JUST WALKING IN and even if you do have an appointment, plan on a long wait. I gave them a fair trial period (about 3 months) with different nail techs but none of them were all that impressive imho. read more

I had the worst customer service experience with Andy (the owner). As he began to work on my nails he proceeded to make small talk with me and asked if I had any kids or if I was married when I said no he felt appropriate to comment on my biological clock and how time for me was running out! I was appalled. I asked him to please stop and he laughed. He had already started on my nails so I decided to ignore the comment. He then asked me where I worked and I responded by telling him I worked at a HS. ANDY then asked if I was dating any "cuties" I said gross, that's statutory rape he then said well just don't sleep with them! I could not believe what was going on. I moved my hands from his and asked for someone else to do my nails he laughed and said, "yeah, next time". The last straw was when he asked what I was going to school for at this point I was enraged and didn't answer. I asked him to stop talking and finish my set. He did no such thing! He then said, "so you plan to work the street corner" I again removed my hands from his and asked for him to find me someone else immediately. If this was the last nail shop on the face of the planet I would still not make use of their services. I WOULD NOT RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE TO MY WORSE ENEMY!
