First and foremost what an amazing establishment I am truly lost for words because this establishment is truly accepting of everyone and even the four legged ones. Thank you for opening the doors to us. It's a brewery so there was no liquor and no idea about food. I read that this place was dog friendly so we came to check it out!! If you stop there tell them Nicole said hi

I don't remember the name of this but it was a Double IPA.

I was in Everett for a work trip and stumbled upon this place while waiting for my coworker to decide on a place to eat. Walked inside and I was happy to see that dogs were allowed inside and they were all just chilling out. I got myself a Double IPA and sat outside to enjoy the summer weather. I noticed that the other people that were outside were eating take out food from different places and I noticed a guy had ordered Jimmy John's as he picked up his food from the delivery driver. I thought this was awesome and made this place more versatile allowing anyone to just get what they want and come solely for the drinks. This might be a Washington thing but California you don't see this at all. The beer? Awesome. It was so good I came back here two more times for my weeklong work trip. Highly recommend.

Fun place, recommend this brewery big time. See a lot of family and friends. Good service and the ownership is around too. We will always be around.

Came in right at opening on Sunday at 12pm since we got done with our 5 mile hike down the street at Japanese Gulch. I got Smith and Blood Orange Hefe and was delicious!! Really wish they had food but the beer was spectacular.

Excellent all around brewery. Great beer, service, outdoor set up, and sanitation procedures. My girlfriends and I have been enjoying getting takeout and coming here to have a lunch date while staying warm with the fireside tables. Also, dog friendly which is always a plus.

Funny, my last review I said I wish I lived closer! My husband and I just bought a new house in the area, and now Crucible is our GO TO neighborhood brewery! Couldn't be happier that this is our local brewery! We go at least once a week. The service is always great & the beers never disappoint! Crucible still doesn't offer a food menu, but now they have guest food trucks out front several days a week! Also, there's always Qdoba next door if you're itching for Mexican fare!

Crucible 16oz Pale Ale for $5 and a guest pour of Lazy Boy Pilsner for $5.

I love start-up businesses, even more so when they're breweries. Free parking can be found in the lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Food is not offered here; however, it is encouraged to bring in your own food to enjoy while slurping some tasty brews. There are several near-by areas to purchase food from. Free Wi-Fi is offered. The password is written on the wall. Nice touch! There are a couple TV's and one projection screen mounted on the walls. This brewery is family friendly and offers a variety of board games to play while drinking brews. Purse hooks have been mounted all along the bar area. What a nice feature! I hate setting my purse on the floor. Along with their own brew recipes, a couple local guest taps are also offered. I appreciate the willingness to support other local breweries. We purchased a logo-ed sweatshirt for $40. Absolutely love the Crucible logo. The owners were very friendly and enthusiastic about their brewery. Their passion is evident in their flavorful brew recipes. Keep on brewin' boys!

Best atmosphere. Definitely my favorite brewery. We always bring our kiddo and there are so many friendly people who frequent. Definitely a gem in Everett.

I can say we were all pretty disappointed in this place. The staff was the only positive that we took away from this experience. Both servers that we encountered were both kind and attentive. The drinks and food however totally missed the marks. We all started off with drinks 2 margaritas, a gin gimlet and a beer between the four of us. The margaritas were terrible, like I am not sure how they put them as a feature drink. They had zero jalapeños and also offered no spicy margarita whatsoever. My wife's gin gimlet tasted like straight up lime juice. All were complete misses. Next we moved on to the food where each couple ordered a dozen wings. The X's and O's( fries and onion rings) and we also ordered a wedge salad. The wedge salad came out and idk how it was marketed as wedge when it was a bowl of salad completely engulfed in dressing(closer to soup than salad). Next the fries and onion rings came out and I'm not usually a stickler for what things cost, but $17 for like 6 onion rings and a very sad plate of fries. We expected a bit more for what we ordered for the table. Lastly the wings. While the flavoring of the wings were good, they came out not too warm to the touch and biting into them they were cold on the inside. Concerned that we may get sick from uncooked meat they assured us that they were precooked and just dropped into the fryer to finish them off. To me it is concerning that though they were precooked and still missed on hearing them all way, you may need to have a chat with your kitchen. Both of the servers were on top of it and ran both dozens back to have our order recooked. Second time around they were hot and crispy with good flavor(although the garlic boom boom wings were missing one of the sauces the second time around). It didn't matter, we ate them and paid. Not sure we will put this on our revisit list. Maybe the burgers or flatbread were the way to go, but out of 3 menu items and even the drinks.... There needs to be much more effort to everything here...

The…read morewait for a weekend meal can get pretty long, but they do a good job of estimating the time and getting you in under the promised limit. They have done well to accommodate larger parties, ours in the past and those of people we saw this time while in the establishment. I wouldn't call the service overly friendly or enthusiastic, and the one time we tried to get our server's attention as he walked by, he looked in the other direction. Our needs were all met though and we didn't wait too long for food or drinks. We weren't asked about dessert or if we wanted anything else and felt a little dismissed at the end of the meal. When it comes to food, I appreciate the menu having clearly marked gluten free items. The server did also know about sauces and other items that weren't marked (like bbq sauce on a sandwich). There is a gluten free bun too, but it's the kind that gets crumbly and falls apart halfway through the sandwich. We were told that fresh-cut fries don't have gluten in them, but there is cross contamination and a shared fryer. Whenever I order here, I can't help but wonder if would have enjoyed another menu item more. I got the bbq pulled pork sandwich on a gluten-free bun. The coleslaw and pork hard good flavor, but the bun couldn't hold it. The fresh cut fries WERE bad. They were floppy and soaked with grease. The regular fries are beer battered and looked crispy and delicious. I couldn't eat mine. I would get a salad or more coleslaw next time. My husband got a hot honey chicken sandwich. He said the chicken was cooked well but the sandwich was dry. The kids enjoyed the kids menu. And the root beer float is made with root beer that they brew at the place. I had a tasty watermelon margarita drink and my husband had a beer. The portions are sizeable, there are a lot of options for diverse tastes. There is outdoor seating if you want to wait for it. This place has a lot of good things going for it. The servers and staff don't seem to be having a good time (busy, lots to do, tough job...I get it), and the food is just ok.

The young lady working there was very friendly, polite and had a smile. Sat outside it was nice. It's dog friendly which I like. Visiting family on the island thought I would try the Thirsty Crab Brewery. I will be recommending this place. Definitely will be going back before I head home. Every time I visit family here on Whidbey Island I will be going there for beer. I was able to visit before heading home. I would recommend Thirsty Crab Brewery to anyone that likes beer.

Well I will say right off the bat if you are trying to get here by GPS it is extremely misleading…read more You can see the business from the main road but you can't turn into the parking lot there. You need to go straight through an intersection just before the brewery, turn on a dirt road and then it will take you to the parking lot. Hopefully directions have been fixed since then by somebody but if not be patient in getting there. My phones were exhausted and running on empty so alas no pictures were taken here unfortunately. We still needed some GPS navigation to get in a homebound direction. There were a lot of good looking beer options here so what we did was get a taster flight which was a wise choice. Some of the beers we had that made up that was a Key Lime Lager which was great. It tasted similar to the dessert and was easily my favorite. Alpenglow was another, also a lager that was pleasant and refreshing. We continued with the unique brews of a Nettle beer, a mango lager and the May Bee Lager. We also got an order of some of their brats from the food truck here. Those weren't too bad, perhaps not the most authentic I have ever came across but enjoyable nonetheless and pairs well with the beers that they have available here. Fun brewery to go to and one that should be stopped at if you are visiting the breweries, cideries, meaderies or wineries on Whidby Island.
