Purchasing a custom canopy from USA Camper Shell was the kind of experience that we wish for all transactions to be. I purchased a canopy for my 2008 Silverado 3500 HD with 8'bed in March of 2024. Martin gave us a quote with drawing within a day or two of our inquiry and quoted approximately 6 week lead time. Just spoke with Martin, gentleman could not tell me if he was the owner or salesman's. Stated multiple times that I should" leave my comfort zone" and "just come by and see for my self" and " your truck is 25yrs old, people expect new things" I asked if there was anywhere on a website where I could see a picture of the camper shell before taking a drive out there, being to which I'm about 57miles away, to which he stated" I get 20 calls a day asking for pictures, I take the time to bring down the shell, send the picture and people never even show up, just leave your comfort zone and come down and see for yourself". Personally I think this is a very bad approach to business. I will not be shopping there, but also will shy people away with any recommendations. Being a body shop owner I don't think I've ever encountered this type of response when asking for a little information prior to purchasing an item. Martin is more than welcome to address this issue if he finds the patience to treat people with respect over the phone. I'll be waiting for his response. read more

Other shops wouldn't mount it if I didn't buy it from them or had a weeks long wait for an appointment...USA Camper Shell took us on the spot and did a great install job- took out shell window, used boot/rubber and adhesive strips, slightly modified the inside of the shell window for perfect boot fit- all right on the spot, no appointment!
