We had some lingering Christmas gifts to send out to family that is out of town and the agent at the counter helped us properly label our package and suggested the best and least expensive way to send it. This is a mush smaller post office than I am used to and I am sure we caught them during an off day and off hours so that definitely worked in our favor but all I know is, we got our business done without receiving any attitude and left happy that we completed a much anticipated task.

Everything moves sloooowly and the entire facility feels like it was designed to suck out your soul and break you. Workers here are disinterested and ineffective at best and hostile and useless at worst. It once took me close to an hour to pick up a package, as the two sour and excruciatingly inept workers processed the line. I will say that the guy running the passport service is a step up from the counter clerks, but for everyday stuff like mailing and picking up packages, forget it. In the end, it's an utter debacle to do any sort of business here. I've driven way out of my way to not have to use this branch and I would advise the same if you're thinking about going here. Zero stars. The worst.

There are lots of post offices in this area, but this one is by far the nicest one. I came here right before Christmas to send a lot of packages. There was a bit of a line but it moved very quickly, and the employees were very jovial and nice to everyone who came in. She then found another error on the page she hadn't looked at and again bit my husband's head off. Lady, next time to your job and examine all the paperwork before sending us back to make changes. I was assisting an 80-year-old individual who needed fingerprinting for a background check. We originally planned to go to the White Plains location but were unable to get confirmation that the fingerprinting equipment was working. We then traveled to the Stamford location after calling ahead and being told that their machine was operational, only to arrive and find out that it was not. Determined not to give up after spending hours traveling between locations, we decided to try the Greenwich office. We arrived less than 10 minutes before closing, only to learn that fingerprinting services end one hour before the office closes. This was information that the Stamford location should have provided when directing us there. After hearing everything we had gone through, Jose took the time to listen and understand the situation. Rather than simply turning away an 80-year-old who had spent the day traveling between multiple locations, he showed genuine compassion, patience, and professionalism. Jose went above and beyond to help us and treated us with kindness and respect throughout the entire process. After such a stressful day, his willingness to help made all the difference. Outstanding customer service is hard to find, and Jose deserves recognition for the way he handled our situation. Thank you, Jose, for your empathy, professionalism, and for helping an 80-year-old individual complete an important fingerprinting appointment after a very long and frustrating day.
