Our waiter Khanh forgot some of our stuff we ordered which is fine but it was trying to pay for the bill which is why I'm writing this review. We waited an hour just to pay the bill!!!! It was like the server was avoiding us. We kept trying to get his attention but it was no use. He kept going back to the kitchen. My husband finally got up from the table and waited for him to come out of the back and asked for the bill and it still took him 10 minutes to bring it. It then took us another 20 minutes just for him to pick up the bill from us. We've never had such bad service. First, the portion sizes are incredible, which is not always the case at KBBQ spots. I was always impressed about the amounts that came to the table with each order. The only 'small' portion was the veggie tray, which felt odd, but was okay in the end, since you can merely order more. For apps, I didn't love the gyoza, it was good, but wasn't the best I've ever had. The cheese corn, however, was a hit with our table. It was pretty packed on Sunday night from crowds who came from the nearby Convention Center. It seem like they were understaffed because the wait was longer than usual. So we accidentally stumbled upon this spot after a full day of shopping at the Vineland Outlets. We were starving and a bit cold so we decided to check this place out! Located in a plaza next to Escapology and TwentyPho... there was plenty of parking and easy access from the main road. Upon entering we were greeted and seated almost immediately. The restaurant had plenty of seating and was spacious. I thought it was cute that they were projecting KPop music videos on the walls which was a nice touch. For food, even though there were cost efficient AYCE options...we actually decided to order a la carte instead since we weren't trying to eat so much late at night. We had the Seafood Pancake, U Turn Chicken Wings, Garlic shrimp, Dolsot BimBimbap and tofu stew. I would say the stand out dishes were definitely the Seafood Pancake and Tofu Stew. Both of those dishes had great flavors and were great for sharing! The other items were good but didn't really stand out as much, I would probably skip those next time. The staff here were so nice and helpful explaining the menu. We ordered a lot of food! The quality of the meat here is unmatched. This is the best Kbbq I have ever been to hands down. We got the a set and I honestly was a little disappointed. To start, the side dishes: bean sprouts seemed to be blanched for too long and also lacked any seasoning, making it taste like soggy grass. The house salad had a mayo based dressing which isn't what we except when coming for Korean food. Kimchi tasted off with no refreshing, fermented and crunchy taste, just spicy and slightly soggy again. As for the meats, I liked the portioning as it's perfect for two people. It's about 6 large pieces per meat option. The meats seemed to be good quality but I didn't prefer the marinades as it was too sweet (spicy pork sauce was my favorite of the 3 we tried). Also, the meat itself was cut too thickly (particularly the brisket), making it harder to chew compared to the melt in your mouth brisket that's served elsewhere. Overall, I would not return as there's much better kbbq in Orlando for the same price. Glad to have stopped by and tried it out though! read more

The place was a little questionable because of the continuous loop of k-pop band videos on the walls but, when the service and food is this good, you ignore the weird stuff. I'm sure there are folks in Orlando who love K-pop. It seems like that era of N'Sync, O-Town, and Britney Spears that my whole generation would like to forget. Wow We went to get late night Pho after college softball games on a Monday night and celebrating our daughter MVP on both games. Right next door was U Turn so we jumped on some AYCE! Really glad we did. Emily was our server and she was a jovial hard working young Lady from Hong Kong that was so helpful at helping my wife find a better drink (sparking Yuzu that was expensive but good!) Another item I don't usually care for but would drink myself. I got a big Korean Terra beer that's familiar to me. We got the AYCE A which was less at $35 each but had great normal choices and the rice, lettuce, ban chan, and a beef broth soup. Soup was good but not that special. The ban Chan was excellent yet simple at only 6 varieties. Who fills up on that at buffet? Well I kind of do but didn't miss the usual big variety a bit. The lettuce fresh and plentiful and the meats and prawns really nicely prepared. Smaller portions but it kept coming from Emily and her co workers. Garlic slices too to char on the grill!! What stood out here from ANY Korean bbq I've been to was the scene.... When we arrived it was of course a Monday night at 9:30 but it was full of K-pop girl band videos and three huge projection whole wall screens and a 20 plus office group from the local LG Electronics partying with food, beer, and Yuzu like it was New Year's Eve! Very vibrant scene. $2k plus bill! Admittedly calm after they left and hoping they had designated drivers. They spent a lot of time unwinding en mass in the parking lot when we we were leaving. Other Koreans still coming in when we were finishing. They are relatively new and think they will do quite well! My partner and I had flown in and arrived in Orlando at around midnight, with huge appetites, saw that this spot was open super late and close by to our hotel. The servers were very kind when taking our orders, but I was more impressed they weren't tired at 1am. They had the essential meats: brisket, bulgogi, steak, and pork belly. But wow, the freshness of the meat is some of the best I've had. Each piece of meat on the plate looked like it was cut with care and even presented nicely. Another fantastic visit with fantastic service. I think i may have omitted from my last review- their steamed egg is spectacular. Highly recommend. The chuck flap is also killer for a marinated meat. Please do not get confused, this is bbq with grills, not hot pot. Hot pot hides meat quality in a soup base. All of the meat served at U-turn are good quality cuts. Went last night to give them a try. When we arrived there was about 4 tables seated and one server. He saw us walk in and greeted us from afar as he was with another table. He then sat us as soon as he was finished with the table. He was alone most of the time we were there and it got pretty busy. But he was on top of it. We have had Korean bbq many times so we didn't need any explanations but what he shared with us and listening to him with other tables he was very knowledgeable which is a huge help for those that have never had it. We did the AYCE A which had plenty of options for us. They are a bit pricier than other places we frequent but nothing too crazy for the area. They had a sign that they give a 10% discount to Disney, Universal and Sea World employees which is smart for business. He took our order right away since we knew what we wanted. We were allowed to order 4 meats at a time which is plenty and the apps. The bonchon was automatic. We started with the beef broth which was super flavorful. The gyoza where fine they are the same I buy at home so nothing thrilling. The bonchon was ok. Again nothing thrilling but passable. The meats though had phenomenal flavor. I asked for some lettuce fresh garlic and bean paste. They just don't have the paste. The have sesame oil on the table and they bring out a spicy sauce and a sweet soy sauce. It wasn't Gochujang or if it was it was watered down. The ventilation system is not good. They have a ton of vents up high but nothing at the tables so it gets super smoky in there. But he was amazing at changing the grill constantly for people which of course eliminates some smoke. We would definitely return for the meats and the service. read more

Lots of side order options including cheese corn and karaage. We got the option B and the price was so worth it because the meats were tasty and well seasoned! You don't really need extra sauces but if you did, it's a sweet soy sauce, gochujang sauce, and sesame oil- which are my favorite. We called ahead and were told that there is a slight wait but that they can accommodate us. When we arrived, it was an extremely long wait almost out the door. We weren't acknowledged and werent told about the wait. This review could have gone a very different route, but it was saved by EMILY! EMILY was a star -- she is the only one who acknowledged the crowd, did her best to sit everyone, and also served gracefully. You can tell she was STRESSED but still had a smile on her face and got your order correct. The food itself is delicious. They have AYCE and ala carte available. A lot of marinated choices that make the food flavorful. Emily told us that it was pretty slow and servers were sent home, and after they were sent home they received an influx of orders -- hence the long wait. I initially would rate this 2 stars.
