This the first laundromat I have been to on the island. But they have reasonable priced machines. The place is clean and well kept the several trips I've been here to wash both clothes, towels/blankets. I feel safe. Adviced to go early morning as after 9-10am, it gets busy. The parking lot has at least 8 stalls. The owner/workers check the cars are overnight parked there. I overheard the worker say there was a car parked overnight but ,not using the facility, he called cops on owner. Be courteous to other customers. read more

Worth the trip over the Pali! I rarely go to a Laundromat but am so thankful I found this one when our washing machine died and I need to wait a week for delivery. Arrived 6pm on a weekday and there's a lot of parking and only 1 other person washing clothes. The main thing for me is cleanliness and safety and good machines. LUCKY for me Yelp was spot on! Aloha, I come to do laundry here around twice a week. It used to be so clean when the two brothers owned it but I know it has changed ownership within the year. I've seen the cleanliness dramatically decline since then. Being a 24 hour laundromat it invites homeless and people that are just looking for a place to hang out not necessarily even doing laundry. I have to come early in the morning around 4:30-5 am to do laundry most mornings because of my work schedule and lately when I've been coming there's been homeless people just hanging out in there, doing pushups going through bags and purses, messing with the machines and just looking way too sketchy for me to walk past their bikes and enter the laundromat by myself while it's dark out and no one else is around. I notice I don't see many people there doing laundry any more in the morning like I used to and I wonder if it's because they too don't want to enter in. The other morning after the sketchy three people left, there was a car muffler, cigarette ashes on counters, random weights on washer, a purse the woman had been digging through and left behind, the laundry cart flipped over, nails in the dryer, and a wrapper from a needle and hair clogging the one sink in the laundromat. The previous owners would be there every morning early around 4:30 am always cleaning, mopping, wiping down the machines. I wonder if the new owner isn't present on island. There's no number to reach him or her but if I owned this laundromat I would want to work on keeping it clean, maybe having an attendant during the hours of midnight to 5 am, or maybe just closing it down between those hours. A lot of us need to wash our clothes here weekly so it would be nice to have it feel safe and clean once again. Mahalo for your time. read more

Has ownership changed ? I would be interested in that because I could not find this on the Business Registration website either as a business or a trade name. In any event, I have been going here for years - off and on. I remember I was in there on March 11, 2011 when the radio gave an announcement that Japan had a huge earthquake and Hawaii was going under a tsunami warning. I left my laundry and raced around the corner to Chevron to fill up gas and then spent the rest of the night in a tsunami shelter. Today, I had this crazy ( big ) mattress pad to wash which goes with my crazy ( big ) bed that you need a step ladder to access. As I was putting it into the dryer it dumped like a bucket of water on the floor. No mop / no bucket and no WET Floor sign. No number to call either. No one to help. Some nice man thanked me for trying to sweep it up with the child size broom and dust pan provided. It was a nightmare. Especially because my 70 + year old neighbor just tripped and fell and cracked her head opened. I was soo worried for the other customers. I get that cameras are watching the place but in case of emergency you need way more than that ! If you want us to take care of problems please provide the equipment at least. We don't usually need to go to a laundromat, but if we need to use one for our comforters and large blankets, this is where we'd go. It's a clean place that gets looked after every few hours. The machines are also well maintained and clean. There is a change machine, as well as a machine offering detergent and softer if needed. There are long folding tables and baskets if you need them. On the folding tables there is also a place to hang your hangers. The machines are pretty large, in a Triple Load we could fit 3 large blankets (not comforters, that could probably fit 2) with a lot of room for it to tumble freely. The dryer has only one setting and that is high. So if you have delicates, I'd suggest hanging them dry. Parking is in the front and if that's all taken, there is street parking available. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! Don't know if it's new owners, but the machines don't work!! It'll take your quarter, but will not register. The coin return doesn't work. I wasn't the only person either. A guy came back and said his quarters were stuck too. The triple loader washer kept beeping because it wanted more quarters - it already ate over $4 worth and stopped. Packed super light on this trip knowing we're going to do laundry. Found this place down the street. Open 24 hours with Samsung front loaders at 3.50 per load. Only needed 1 load. And dryer at .25 for 3 minutes. Not bad. Got out of there with $5 spent and washed and dried 5 towels and clothes for 3 days. Place is clean. And more importantly safe. 34 minute wash. Waited in the car for 32 minutes. In and out in an hour. read more

Okay...because I went here, I got a chance to do a review of Moke's Bed and Breakfast, also. For planning sakes, this is the perfect place to wash clothes if you also want to eat while you wait. Park at the laundry, walk a quarter block to the left, and eat. We use laundermats to wash our really big items. I'll get to the point and say this is the best laundermat on the island!!! Clean. Lots of washers and dryers. There's soap. There's a change machine that takes bills all the way up to a twenty. A thorough wash takes about 40ish minutes but the dryers are super efficient (i.e. quick). I will say, it's a little pricey but I'm not marking it down for that. You get what you pay for. And you get roosters roosting at you for entertainment. Come early, or not on a Friday or Sunday. read more

The best laundromat- I usually use the brand new suite of Electrolux machines handle giant loads easily 40 minute cycle I think it was $7 for a big load. $1 detergent dispenser if you need to buy supplies. We had to call the provided number when the coin machine malfunctioned- got an answer on a Sunday morning and the proprietor showed up within 15 minutes -- provided our change and repaired/reset the machine. Change machine takes $1,5,10,20 bills. I've used several sizes of machines all worked well. Open air but swept out and very tidy. Relax at the picnic table and catch up on the news with the provided Honolulu Star Advertiser or just chill to the local music. I've been early morning and later at night always felt safe and comfortable. read more

There is a detergent dispenser that costs $1 for detergent, $1 for dryer sheets, and $1 for a laundry bag. There are a couple options for each. There is also a coin dispenser that accepts $1, $5, $10, and $20. The small washers cost $3.50, triple loads are $7, and the 50lb giant wash is $9. The large dryers are 2 minutes for $0.25 and the regular dryers are 3 minutes for $0.25. There is also ample seating inside the laundromat. read more

Price I can't really comment on as I don't frequent laundry mats often if at all but the prices aren't on the machines. They are on the wall above a row of machines, but poorly labeled. Just says "Triple load 7.00"; for someone unskilled in the art of washing cloths it makes no sense to me. We were driving to the north shore from Waikiki and decided to stop by the beach in Kailua. We saw that this laundromat had good reviews so we thought we'd throw a load in the wash. It's an open air laundromat that plays Hawai'ian music. The patrons seemed nice (military folks, older people and soccer moms) and it was quiet. A wash was $3.50 and a dry was 3 minutes for $0.25. That seems a little high to me but perhaps I haven't been to a laundromat in a while. The wash was okay. I put enough quarters for a 20 minute dry but when the buzzer sounded my clothes weren't dry. I didn't want to put in more money so we bagged the damp clothes and put them on a chair to dry once we checked in to Turtle Bay. read more

I ended up coming here only because Steve's plumbing screwed up and repair and ended up flooding my place. Those incompetent fools, but that is another review. This establishment is in a great location and there are a lot of GREAT eateries on the same block.
