Having the car show up would be an improvement. I had a medical appointment, arranged to have the ride through their app and followed their directions very carefully. I received a confirmation. I went out 20 minutes ahead of time to wait for them and no one came to pick me up. It meant that I missed my appointment and I can't get another one for a month. I received no phone call nor any communication whatsoever. I was so angry! There is no phone number on their website or their app. Just a form to fill out. I drive for Uber and Lyft in Asheville and Uber is seriously the WORST. They have no customer support, I filed a claim 2 weeks ago and they've still done nothing about it. The brandnew app doesn't even work, I've been picking up people on Lyft all day who say Uber is broke and won't let them request rides since the update. Seriously, stick with Lyft in Asheville, they even have a phone number to call to talk to an actual customer support human being. read more

Learned a good lesson ! Never trust or ride with any Uber driver in Asheville NC ...Was a perfect weekend planned in this Beautiful city until Uber surge charged an outrageous rate of 189.00 for less than 9 miles...very inexperienced driver told us a shuttle would pick us up at the entrance to the Biltmore House...no such service..! Finally called a local Taxi that was competent in knowledge of the area and gave us a free to the Biltmore House which was another three miles from the front gate...Thank you Bluebird taxi ! We are forever grateful for your service and will highly recommend your company to all our friends and business associates ! Consumer beware..never Uber again , lesson learned . read more
