    After at least 20 calls and a couple of hours spent trying to get someone to resolve my issue, they finally refunded the roughly $20. A business model like this seems destined to lose customers. It's probably by design that they don't have a dedicated customer service phone line...so I ended up having to call their Safety Helpline instead.

    Uber Driver, RZA - I've requested Uber ride at around 7:50am at the LA port on 10/31/2025. The Uber app says the driver will pick me up at 8:04am and guarantees a wait time of no more than 5 minutes. I kept checking to app to make sure. First, it says the driver will arrive in 7 minutes and then 10 minutes. Comes 8:10am and no driver. I checked my Uber app to see what is going on, and it seems like the app was being updated; the screen does not have all the information like before. Then my phone rang, and the 1st driver, who is now late, is here. I got into his car. He drove out of the parking lot and pulled over. He said the ride is canceled. I said What do you mean, canceled? He said, "No problem, you just pay me directly via Zelle, Vemo, or Credit Card." I said no, I would like to use the Uber app for my ride. He said, "You will have to request a new ride, and you will have to wait longer." I said, that is fine, just take me back to where I was waiting for the ride before." The driver, RZA said "I will give you a receipt, you just pay me directly." I continue to say no. The driver said then "I drop you off here" which was at the side of a traffic road. I said, "no, you take me back to where I was waiting for a ride." Driver RZA said, I will have to go around 2 miles to get back to the place you are waiting. I said "why? You just make a left at the front stop sign." I live in California most of my life. I know LA and I've driven myself to the LA port before. He was trying to lie to me. He refuse to take me back to where I was previously waiting for a ride. He opened his mini van trunk, took my luggage out. He forced me out of his car. I told him I will report him. I said that is fine. I went in front of his car to take a photo of his license plate and him. He used his car to hit me, so I couldn't capture his license plate. The first time, he hit my knees. I tried to move to capture his license plate again and AGAIN, he used his car to hit me the 2nd time, harder. He drove away with his trunk still open. I was able to capture a close-up of his car license plate. This photo was captured right before he used his car to physically hit me. I had to carry my heavy luggage while walking back to where I was waiting for an Uber ride. I saw a police car there and told him what happened. He provided me with some good information. He also told me about a few "very bad" stories about Uber drivers. No only did this person tried to use Uber name for his own financial earnings to cut out Uber portion of earnings by knowing to deliberately be late for 6-7 minutes, worst yet, he is physically dangerous! The Uber app would assign another driver. Now, there is no recording of me as a customer so the driver, RZA will not have to share the earnings with Uber. The criminal action of this driver to physically harm a person by deliberately using his car to hit me TWICE! This person should be jailed and heavily fined for his actions!

    40% offer $15 booking fee

    False advertising of 40% discount beware. I used Uber based on an email ad sent to me for promo of 40% off up to $10. The initial trip showed $22 dollars then I accepted the ride which said 40% discount will be applied. The bill then added a $15 booking fee? The trip was less the 7 miles about 20 minutes and I would not have used Uber if a booking fee the same amount as my trip was applied. No more Uber for me

    Illegal charges they made to my bank account.

    On January 17th, 2026 at 4:57pm my daughter and got lost somewhere Rowland Heights area to get to our destination Chubby Mart Restaurant. So I had to call Uber rides to pick us up from this address 17760 Rowland St, City of Industry, CA 91748 cost me $15.98 including tip of $4.00. Then after we finished eating at Chubby Mart Restaurant I called Uber rides again to pick us up to take us to home cost me $64.90 including tip of 15%. Then, in the morning I checked my bank account to find out all the charges I spent, I found out that Uber rides were doing some illegal charges to my account so I had to call my bank and told them I only used Uber rides two times but not eight times. So my bank at least was aware of it and declined all the illegal charges they made to my bank account. I just want to complaint about their illegal charges they attempted to my bank account to make sure it will not happen to other customers. Hopefully, they will investigate this matter to make their customer happy.

    Requested a special assistance ride for my diabled mom and myself in Santa Monica on 1/14 and when the driver arrived she stated her trunk was not available. Where did she think the wheelchair was going to be stored for the ride ??? I used the Lyft app (which was cheaper, faster, nicer vehicle, and way more professional and considerate than Uber) which will be my new "go to" app since Uber is clearly not up to the task of providing transportation services for disabled customers. Great for Lyft which I highly recommend.

    I was charged a $10 "booking fee" yesterday and it was not shown or mentioned prior to booking this trip. I'll be sticking to Lyft from now

Uber car seat didn't seem to be a reliable option and ride hailing services required a super far transfer to another pickup location. The bus was also triple the time to our destination near the cruise port. Go Ride was very clear about their pricing and they were detailed when answering a follow up question I had about pickup time which was fortunate as our flight ended up getting in 30 mins earlier than scheduled. Our driver, Oscar, arrived early to pick us up - I received an iMessage from him before landing using my airline's in-flight wifi - I was able to send him updates as we got off the plane and got our bags. He pulled up within 5 mins of my last message when we had our bags conveniently right outside the terminal. It was so easy I didn't even need to rent the $8 USD luggage cart and my kids didn't have enough time to complain about any wait. Oscar was really helpful with our bags and had all the car seats already installed correctly! All seats were facing the correct direction, solid, tight and the only adjustment needed was for the actual seat belts themselves to secure the kids. Oscar offered us bottles of water and we were off to the hotel. On the way we had a nice chat and he was totally OK with the youngest child crying for a bit while navigating LA's notorious traffic (he said it was light but to me it was busy). Drop off at the hotel was smooth and we tipped in cash for great service - he impressed us! Definitely would recommend to anyone especially families looking for a smooth experience getting anywhere from LAX airport. I will be using them again for future travel. Pricing: reasonable and competitive for door to door private car service with car seats. Communication: from booking to actual day of it was the right amount of detail Quality: car and car seats were super clean Safety: our driver Oscar was safe while navigating LA's freeway and street traffic. Car seats were properly installed and well maintained. Convenience: Door to door service was amazing and easy - I had bags but didn't require a luggage cart at all.
