I am sorry UBER but I refuse to throw away my money when you price hike your rides. I have a ton of clients that visit the Anaheim resort area so I often frequent the area. Instead of driving and having to deal with hotel parking I use ride share apps or the Mister drops me off. Tonight the Mister was asleep and I needed to get home. I can clearly see the excessive amount of drivers waiting in the resort area. I checked the app around 11pm and saw the $17.98 rate to go within the same city limits. Less than a hour later the same ride jumped to the high $30s. Why? Because you know Disneyland is closing and people will need rides. Not cool Uber. What else is not cool is taking the Farthest route possible to get home. We don't need to take the freeway. I wish you gave the passenger different options on which route to take. My Uber driver showed up with a beat up car, gas tank door open which I told him on entry and he said that's fine which leads me to believe the door is faulty and never closes- risky. Also, back seat had a pet blanket over it full of dog hairs, and when I pushed it to sit on the actual chair it was just as messy. It was smelly in the car as well and to top it all off, he had a dog in the car on his lap and drove the entire trip without his seatbelt on. The dog was peeking at me from under him arm between the two front seats. Problem is I have allergies so this trip was torture for me. When I reached out to Uber with the complaint I got a response that their drivers are allowed to travel with pets or service animals but that they are expected to let customer know. My driver did NOT advise me of this when I booked the trip. I think this is unfair to customers to let them know when the driver arrives as it wastes time. The same way Uber sends you the name of driver and car details once the trip is booked, there should be an addition of any pets in car information so that the client can reject the booking early and find alternatives. Leaving it up to the driver wastes customer time and I didn't even realize it until I was in and the trip had begun. Some people have a fear of dogs and/or like in my case have allergies. I received several more texts saying a driver was en route, then a text saying the driver had cancelled and I'd need to request another ride. This ride was for a medical procedure and I panicked. I love Uber as a car service. I first used them in New York City, when I could not get a cab at peak hour, and it was freezing cold during the winter. I have older parents and it was not an option having them walk to the nearest subway station, especially during the congested 5:00 rush hour. I keyed in a request for an Uber XL and within 9 minutes I had the car pulling up at the Met. I paid with the app, so no cash is exchanged, and the driver was courteous, and the car was clean and warm. 5 stars there! I have also used them in Washington, DC and had excellent experience as well. ANOTHER reason for the 5 stars is their #UberIceCream day. I used the app to get the Uber Ice Cream car to bring Dippin Dots to my work. Using the Capital One code #SweetDeal I got the delivery for free! There's people who don't trust Uber, and every person has their right. But I travel around the world and there's taxi drivers (even in the US) who are unsavory, and I wouldn't trust those drivers either. Uber is crooked and unethical. At the Orange County Airport, I called for an Uber. I had to look where you wait for the Uber driver, I looked at my watch and it took literally three minutes. I had waited for the three minutes with the quote of $37 to hit the "confirm pick up". When I hit that button, Uber changed the quote to $50. I took an Uber to go to 16305 and the driver brought me to an entirely different address. I said I have an appointment with my doctor and this is not the address. I had to call another Uber driver to take me to my location. He picked me up said said the address we are at is your drop off location. Uh, no. He took me to the correct location as I had to give him directions. When I was ready to be picked up, the first driver went to the wrong address. I said, no, why do drivers keep going to the wrong address? I confirmed the address with the scheduler three times and he repeated it back to me 3x. The first driver declined the pick up. Guess where the second driver went? Yep, the wrong address. I had to give him directions to get to my location. I was almost about to call a taxi because for some reason 16305 is the same address as 15575. As you can see they are very similar. read more

I worked for uber eats it is honestly the worst experience I have ever had. They have terrible support I couldn't get help with an issue during an order, if there was issues regarding the order they would cancel and hang up on me. They make us overwork ourselves extremely hard and our rating never go up it honestly just stays the same. They also make up lies that causes our rating to go down. They also keep your money and tips. When you guys order and we pick up and deliver we don't end up getting paid the amount we are supposed to. They are thieves and terrible. Just now I had an ongoing order and I called support for help and they hung up on me gave me a cancellation rate. They always have hung up on me or transfer me to many different departments and they don't help me. If you guys ever decide to work for them my biggest advice DON'T! I have been an active Uber customer for almost a year now and have had nothing, but positive things to say about their services! Whenever I book a few minutes prior, my Uber drivers always showed up promptly and not once did I ever experienced any issues with them! Her name is Chandelle and she is the best! Very sweet lady! Her and I really get into conversations because she shares about her family which is awesome and this is what makes the atmosphere pleasant! I hope to have her again in the future! She's the best! She even asked me if I wanted her to drop me off near my door and I gave her the okay to do so! Such a sweet and bubbly personality! I got an Uber for my bf this morning and the driver charged me for a "waiting fee." Oh, and my bf didn't keep him waiting at all, the driver was just on the other side of the street. Keep in mind that I messaged him before he got there where my bf will be waiting. As my bf finally located the driver he stated that, "he was lost." If that was the case then it really makes no sense in charging a waiting fee. I decided to check my history and what do you know. A couple of other drivers did the same thing. We called and scheduled an UBER pick up the night before for August 1, 5:30AM to John Wayne Airport. On August 1, at 5:30AM we received a text that the driver was 5 minutes away. When the driver was supposedly 1 minute away, the app stopped giving us updates. AT 5:35AM received a text that no drivers available, and we should try back later. Since we had a 7:00AM boarding time, we could not wait. In order to check baggage and get a boarding pass as soon as possible, we parked in the airport parking lot. Customer service will not only take your proven documents for an issue, they will ask you for all other proof, and after you've done that they will still deny you a refund for charges that are proven to be invalid. I reserved an Uber on a Saturday night for Sunday morning at 6 AM. At 5:50 I watched my Uber driver heading towards my apartments to my pick up location. The Uber driver cancels my ride which I was expecting to pay $69.98 to the airport. I didn't wanna mid my flight so I had to order another Uber, which ended up costing me $185.00. This is not right.
