Stay away! I brought my iPhone in for a back glass repair, and had it replaced at this location. 3 days later it broke in my pocket with normal use. When I got the phone back after the repair, it reeked of epoxy. It also had a lip where the new glass met the body which felt different then the other side. This store and Asurion as a company are in full on denial and blaming me for their poor fix. If you call this company they will dodge you until you give up. They will keep passing you on to different case managers who will promise to call you back then won't. In essence I was scammed out of $160. read more

I will never go back here or recommend them for the way they treated me. My phone broke over a week ago the day before I had to go out of town. The screen was cracked and black, however, it still worked if I connected to the car and it still rang, but I could not answer it. In the interim, I got a temporary unlocked phone from Target. I put the old Sim card in it so people could still call. But my contacts were not in it and it didn't recognize anyone who called, but I was able to call an be called, just didn't know who it was by phone number alone. And no, not everything was backed up by Google - shame on me. When I returned from my short trip, I was able to retrieve all my photos, but not my contacts. I followed what was shown online, but nothing worked - when I hooked up the phone to my desktop with the USB, it always showed that the file was empty. Whatever was saved by Google were only photos, there was not file I could find that said CONTACTS. Verizon in River Forest told me to call UbreakiFix - I called Friday morning and told the man my phone is trashed, but it still turns on, I have my photos but all I want are my contacts so I can put them on my new phone which I had in addition to a temp phone. He told me he could retrieve my contacts. He also told me that he could REPLACE THE SCREEN, but I said I needed to send the phone back to Asurion within 15 days cause they already sent me the replacement. He said "we can help you no problem" So I made a 6:00 P.M. appt for that same Friday night. I drive from Bronzeville to Berwyn in the worst Friday afternoon traffic at 5 o'clock to make a 6 o'clock appt. I walked in at 6:01 only to be greeted by a mean faced short guy who basically looked at the phone and said "we cannot help you if the screen is broken" I said that was NOT what I was told. The Large man heard me from the back office and came out and basically told me I was a liar - he said "you did not tell me the screen was broken!"He kept sayin GOOD BYE SIR HAVE A NICE DAY. BYE SIR! NOT TRUE! If I didn't tell him the screen was broken, WHY DID HE TELL ME THAT HE COULD REPLACE THE SCREEN!!?? I don't need to be called a liar when I'm not, especially by someone I never met before! One thing I've learned is how most, not all, techie people, are much like sociopaths - they have no personality and are very un caring. This place may be good at repairs, but they treated me like crap so here's their first BAD rating, and well deserved! read more

My iPhone 13 has some cracks in the screen. I found them with a quick google search and making an appointment for my phone was easy. But that's where the good ends. I walked in and the guy told me he had to "check if the parts were in stock." I was told they were not and that I could come back in a few days. I calmly asked for him to help me understand why there was no way the system could tell me that when I made the appointment. Manager came out and told me it was my fault for making the appointment in good faith and not calling ahead. It's a poor business strategy to blame the customer. There are lots of places that show you the inventory either in an app or in the process of booking an appointment. After reading the other reviews on quality of service and customer care, I'm glad I did not spend money here. read more

5 stars for doing the work... 1 star for integrity. I called a couple of times to see if they could get a replacement screen for my Pixel 4a. They eventually called back that they had the parts. They don't show up when they make appointments and they have a limited number of things they can fix. I had a terrible experience.

There was no charge to tell me what the problem it was free. But it took 2 weeks to tell me what the problem was.

Took my iPhone 12 in March to get my screen fixed & I'm already starting to have problems with my screen not working at all. And the glue to stick my screen is already coming off. Paid $240 for this cheap quality of screen. Not worth getting it fixed read more

Wonderful people I was going at it with Apple for days because I simply needed them to send me a update for my MacBook but they were constantly telling me there was nothing they could do and kept suggesting I just "get a new one" mind you my MacBook is a 2020 LESS THAN 2 years old I've spent and put so much money into it between cases to software to expanding the storage and Apple is telling me to "get a new one" I called them brought it in the same day and wouldn't you believe it they fixed and updated it same day I had it back within 2 hours there AMAZING ‼‼‼ read more

After calling the location and reading reviews I was a little skeptical about going not just to this company (had not heard of them before) but also to this location but they have a contract with Samsung and I needed my phone repaired a.s.a.p. (especially with this being my only form of communication). When I came in I was approached by Jerry who asked what was going on with my device and I explained to him my issue. After talking to him he explained what could have happened and that the process for repairs normally takes 3 hours to complete and they closed in 2hrs and already had a heavy load. I explained my situation and how I use this phone for everything so he stated he would try to accommodate me. Well needless to say I receive my device with in that timeframe. Jerry and Jay were the associates in the office and I can say that they both were very professional and very knowledgeable about their job. Even at the end Samsung was having an issue closing out my ticket but Jerry was like go head and you will receive your receipt via email tomorrow. If you are like me, you use your phone for everything so to have a LED light to go out on a phone that was purchased a few months prior was devastating to me but Jerry manage to me feel comfortable because of his professionalism and expertise. Thanks Jerry and Jay for your professionalism, expertise and willingness to accommodate me.
