I took my phone in to have get a broken screen replaced, said it would take 3-4hrs. I came back later that day and the phone wasn't ready. They said by closing, 7:00PM. Came back the next day after noon, and still not ready. He said another hour or so. I gave him around 2hrs. When I got there no one came to the front to see what I needed. I stuck my head around the back to let them know I was there. He then brought me my phone, said he ran a Samsung diagnostic on it, which he said take 20-30 minutes after having my phone 3 days, and said it failed so they can't fix it. I was under the impression they could fix anything. This was coming out of my pocket not Samsung's. I took it to Best Buy to see what they could do and told them about the diagnostic test and they didn't know what I was talking about. I will not take anything to UBREAKIFIX again. read more

We recently had my daughter's laptop serviced here. Let me start by saying that the technician we had was very pleasant and communicated with us regularly, so I have no complaints with him directly. My main issue is with the owners/management. We were told our daughter's laptop would take 5 days to fix, to which we said please proceed. Mind you, the quote we received was twice the amount of going through Dell directly, but because our daughter was at college with no laptop we were in a hurry to get it fixed...THE only reason we agreed to pay double so we could get it back to her ASAP. The first time, the screen they ordered to replace the screen came in "cracked" so they said they were back to square one and had to reorder it. They told us it would take another week but we really had no choice but to wait. Flash forward a week later, we get a call that this time they ordered the wrong "screen" but it was not their fault because they used a different vendor/supplier that they typically do not use. Long story short, we finally got our daughter's laptop back which took about 3 weeks. The part that I have the BIGGEST problem with is management. When I asked if anything could be done to satisfy us as a customer, as in any kind of discount be given to already the price that was double. The response I received was mindboggling to me saying , "no, I'm afraid not, we already are only making about $20 on this deal from our end because of all the issues that occurred." If you go out to a restaurant and your meal gets messed up, or your steak is overcooked, what typically happens? The restaurant will comp your meal or at the very least give you some kind of discount to maintain your future business. The owner/management of this location basically said we were out of luck, and had the attitude of since it was not their fault directly (in my book, YOU are the ones making the decision on which supplier to use and YOU are the one who is placing the order for the wrong LCD screen) that they were still going to charge us full price (5 day quote turned into over 3 weeks). Shame on you for running your business this way. I am in sales, and even if I don't like it, I will always do the right thing to keep a client happy. A small discount even for our inconvenience and patience would have gone a long way, instead now they get this review and I will be sure to make sure everybody I know that needs a computer repair does not take their business here. read more

I went to get my broken glass on my iPhone repaired, which I was told would be quick. AT&T insurance recommended them. I dropped off my phone. I waited hours, thinking they'd be done soon, but then I received a call to tell me that my glass couldn't be fixed. The representative said "not to worry though, we have restored your phone to exactly how it was before you brought it in." When I went back to the store, the representative kept my wife and I talking and kept my phone on his side of the counter. He finally gave my phone to me when I asked for it, and when I picked it up and tried to activate it, it was stuck on a repair screen. He looked like a deer in headlights, then admitted because he knew the jig was up that they broke my phone. He suggested that I call Apple and that maybe they could help me. Not only was my phone stuck in a mode that made it unusable, and the employee LIED to me, but also THEY LOST ALL OF MY DATA THAT I'VE ACCUMULATED SINCE I BOUGHT MY FIRST iPHONE. The experience literally could not have been worse. They told me they could fix my phone; they broke my phone. Instead of being honest, which I would have respected, the representative lied to me and tried to rush me out the door before I could notice. NEVER GO HERE. There are a ton of places to get your glass replaced, go somewhere else. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Had an absolutely awful experience with this establishment today. I called ahead of time (12PM) to ensure that the repair team had my wifes screen in stock for an emergency same day repair. We are co-owners of our own business so it is crucial that we stay connected. They let me know to come in by 3 or 4pm that day and the repair would be handled. Come to find out when I arrive, due to some Samsung contractual agreement they didn't tell me about on the phone, I had to get the back of my phone replaced ($80 charge). Ok bummer, not a big deal I guess either way I need it done. Team takes the phone and let's me know it will definitely be done by the end of the day and to standby for a phone call. We wait around the area for THREE HOURS to pick the phone up and NEVER GET A CALL. I decide to call the store right before they're about to close at 6:58 because I figured it odd they didn't call. He answered the phone (same young dark hair kid) and let me know that the phone was done. I said "ok I'm on the way" and he let me know they were closing in 2 minutes. I told him that I need that phone and that they never called me but ill be there in 4 minutes as that's what the GPS said. I arrived to a closed store at 7:02PM and no one was there. I live an hour away so now I have to drive back tomorrow to get my phone and my business is put on hold another day. Complete lack of empathy and customer service. That kid would be terminated for negligence if he were my retail employee. read more

This place is a joke! Booked a screen replacement for my daughters iPhone X quoted $209! When she picked it up she was charged $229 and told they were out of the cheaper replacement so it was more expensive. No call to ok a more expensive option. Sales person said more expensive option comes with a $29 screen protector but they were out of stock also but he'd have one tomorrow. Went back "tomorrow" and guess what, still don't have. Asked to speak to Manager and I could hear man in back say I'm really busy what is it about. The employee told me the owner was in back and doesn't handle stuff like this! After several back and Forth with the employee I point blank asked him "the owner Is too busy to talk to a paying customer about a problem" at which he said yes! My iPhone 7 Plus' battery health was down to 57%. I took it into uBreakiFix and for a very reasonable price they replaced the battery. I was in and out within 30 minutes. I would definitely use them again if I needed other service such as replacing a cracked screen. read more

My just over a month old Samsung Galaxy S10+ (purchased directly from Samsung) had a very small chip on the edge of the screen protector. Samsung told me to bring a copy of my invoice to this location, and it would be a warranty claim being less than 8 weeks after the manufacture date. A tech "Isaac" assisted me. He told me that "most are unaware that the phones are shipped with a plastic film that's supposed to be removed", and without my permission, removed said piece of plastic. I was confused because it was my understanding it was a screen protector which came installed from the manufacturer...which is why Samsung advised me to bring it in to this service center....which Isaac said "nope, it's just plastic as part of the shipping, there is no screen protector on these phones". I left and immediately called Samsung to inquire. Long story short Isaac was incorrect. His "fix" caused me more "harm" as he removed the screen protector, making my entire screen unprotected vs. having a tiny chip on the screen protector edge. I called the store and "James", supposedly a store manager explained to me that Isaac was a relatively new tech, it would be a teaching moment for him, he was sorry but Isaac was trying to fix the situation for me by showing me my screen wasn't damaged (which I knew) and that screen protectors are never under warranty. He too is incorrect (I've now had 3 different Samsung reps share with me the warranty policy for the screen protector), which is not relevant rather the worst part is James offered nothing in terms of resolving the larger issue his inexperienced tech created. James would rather give excuses on why Isaac's incompetence is not to blame and apologize for the incorrect assumptions Issac made, verses offering to put another screen protector on the phone, which Samsung said cost $20. Everyone is new at some point and everyone even if experienced makes mistakes; however taking ownership and solving them so not detrimental to the customer, is what true customer service is all about! This place FAILED. read more

Best part is, these guys are Samsung certified so they warranty the repair to be like factory. They thoroughly test the repairs to ensure the device is working properly and still waterproof! They replaced the charging port on my cellphone and during that they messed the screen up, then they tried to convince me screen was wrong since first day (which is totally false). I understand there are accidents, everybody can mistake, what I do not support is the fact to try to evade responsibility. It was to me a really dishonest fact and a very disappointed experience, finally I took my cellphone back without any reparation but with an extra issue caused for them. Worst customer service - worst manager. I really don't care what happened with your employee but if I call and say that we had an insurance claim and that my son should not have had to pay when he picked up his phone, then I expect my insurance claim to be verified and my money refunded. Should take about 10 minutes max. But instead the manager and the employee seem to have not been trained whatsoever in dealing with people. Ended up a 45 minute ordeal and my son having to drive back up to the store. Pay a little better rate and hire people with some common sense. read more

Had a iPad Air 2 I dropped at this location July 13th. Screen replacement. Should be easy. No rush I told them (work iPad). Come around august 12 after I have called the store 3 times 2 voicemails, I was wondering why I hadn't got any calls back about my device. Come to find out it had been ready for weeks. Never called me. Picked up my iPad, missing my charger. Bad service and no one gives you a straight answer. When I asked for my charger back the new guy told me to come back and talk to a manager? How about you just give me my apple charger? I paid $300 and waited a month and you've taken my iPad charger. New guy was happy to tell me that the technician for iPad got terminated. Cool. Some times you get burned trying to support local. Next time I'll just have apple take care of this. read more

I was greeted by a rather unkempt young man who claimed he was the manager, just to be told very rudely, (after I had already maked an appointment and called the day before to confirm) they were short handed that day and it "wasn't gonna happen." I had to drive a couple of hours to even get to this Asurion repair location. He was rude and completely unhelpful. Save yourself the time and trouble and visit the location on 15th Street. I came in because my Iphone wouldnt charge, turns out, there was a bunch of pocket lint in the slot, guy (didnt get his name) told me it would be $40, asked him how long it would take, then he just said to wait in front and he'll be right back. I wait like 5 or so minutes and he comes back with the port cleaned up and good as new, and free of charge! Couldn't recommend them more! I also plan on getting my battery replaced here soon as well. read more

I was under the impression the repair would be covered by the cellhelmet warranty, unfortunately it was not. My warranty had expired 3 months prior and I was unaware, which ultimately is on me I get that. Unfortunately at no time during the conversations with two different employees did anyone mention it had been over a year since the last repair. They knew what my unlock code, I am fairly certain they could see in their files when my last visit was. Even after discussing the length of warranty time as well as how to go about placing a claim still no indication I may want to check the status of my warranty. I feel this was shady and, very poor customer service. Had I known I would not be covered by the warranty, I would have either waited until the damage was intolerable or, purchased a completely new phone. I am extremely disappointed at the lack of transparency and I feel I no longer have trust in the business. In the event of more damage, I will not be having my phone repaired again, it's not worth the hassle . Yes, the phone works well and looks great but, since I don't feel like my best interest is taken into account with repair recommendations--I don't foresee any future visits, especially after my NEW warranty expires. read more

I brought my mid 2015 15" MacBook in with an audibly loose component, after demonstrating the noise to the repairman checked it in and said he'd need a couple days as they were backed up, and if it was something that just needed to be screwed or adhered down he wouldn't charge me so long as I left a good review. He seemed hesitant to check in my MacBook and said they usually work with phones and tablets. 4 days later he said he found the loose screw moving about that was causing the noise and tightened it (the noise was not a screw rustling around it was a component within the device) While on the phone I asked him to pick up the device and tilt it as i'd demonstrated in the store and he then noticed the moving part inside and then he said he'd call me back in 45 minutes. 3 days later without an update I followed up to find out that the screws were now too stripped to open the device a second time, the rep lied saying they'd called me to inform me that they'd have to order screws and drill out the old ones and needed confirmation to move forward - I never received a call or a voicemail. I was told the rep who allegedly opened it the first time didn't leave any notations. Computers seem to be a curveball for this location. Poor communication internal and externally. read more
