I can confidently recommend uBreakiFix. I had a phone repaired this week...and I was provided absolutely amazing service! Alondra and Troy are repair service superheroes! Let me preface by saying that I was worried about coming here. I had seen some reviews for uBreakiFix (this store and others). Some reviews are almost frightening. However, I am very happy to say that I had an amazing experience! In fact, my experience was the antithesis to those other reviews. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted with a smile and care. This seemed quite genuine. The employee, Alondra, spent time listening to my concerns and doing her best to give me the best attention and information that I could. It turns out that I had gone through Samsung (and the Samsung system was not syncing correctly). So, using Alondra's advice, I was able to call Samsung and try to get it squared away. I then called the store and spoke with Troy. Despite Samsung's continued problems with syncing their reservation system, Troy and Alondra were able to figure everything out for me. I was amazed by the empathy that they displayed. I had driven from Palo Alto (which isn't a short drive in traffic). However, the care and attention that was shown actually blew me away! They were able to commence the repair (a complex and defective Samsung Galaxy Z Flip phone) and have it completed very quickly. The store is located in a convenient location with plenty of open parking spaces. It's located on Saich Way (right off of Stevens Creek Blvd) across the street from a Target; however, there was a lot of open, free parking. The store itself is very clean and inviting. It's basically a counter with some seating and a small retail space -- offering things like phone/tablet cases. However, it also provides a lot of information about how uBreakiFix works. All of the magic happens in the work environment areas down the short hall behind the counter. Overall, I am very pleased. It has been a long time since I felt that a business went up-and-beyond for customers like this. I thought that I might be a one-off. However, I watched how Alondra dealt with other customers. Stay far, far away from this phone repair shop - they left me with a phone that has many recurring issues. I took my iPhone in after it broke on a camping trip. It was clicking buttons uncontrollably, making it unable to use. I had first taken it to the Verizon store since they are my carrier, but the representatives there couldn't diagnose the issue. Since Verizon is right across the street from uBreakiFix, I decided to check it out. At first it was very promising. The man at the counter knew what the issue was, claiming it was a "ghost touch" malfunction caused by internal damage. He gave two options - buy the screen and he can do a one time repair, or you can purchase a "protection plan" which was cheaper, and covered 4 other device repairs. It seemed like a no brainer to get the protection plan, so I should have known it was too good to be true. From there he gave two options. Get a cheaper LCD screen, or pay for a premium OLED screen. I opted for the cheaper screen, which was probably a mistake. He repaired my phone and I was able to pick it up the same day - might be the only positive thing about this shop. Immediately when I got it, the colors seemed weird and the brightness was out of wack on the screen. It seemed very dim. I don't necessarily think that's the repair shops fault since I got the cheaper screen. The man at the counter said I can get the more expensive screen if I file a claim after 30 days, so I decided to see what the cheap screen was like. After a few days of use I noticed a few things. The phone got really hot after only a few minutes of use, and the battery drained incredibly fast. I only had ~60% of the original battery life of my phone. Also, my screen would frequently freeze and become unresponsive! That was the exact thing I got it fixed for! When my screen would become unresponsive, I would have to reset it and then it would work again, but it was incredibly inconvenient. 30 days later I went back to file the claim for a new screen. The man helped me file the claim, but instead of filing the claim for the unresponsive screen/overheating he said I should file it for a cracked screen. That seemed weird since it wasn't the issue, but whatever. Guess what - my claim gets rejected! Who would have known filing a claim completely unrelated to your issue would get it rejected! The next day I went back to file another one. I file it for the real issue of overheating/unresponsive screen, and it gets rejected, so I can't get the phone fixed. Now my phone has the issue I first took it in for - random buttons are being pressed on their own and I have no control over the phone. Before my repair at this shop I had a broken phone with a quality screen - now I have a broken phone with a cheap screen, and a waste of repair costs and time. Would definitely stay far, far away from this shop. If you have a phone repair, it would be much more worth it to go to a Apple store. Poor service - they will take your money and leave you with a broken phone!!! read more

My experience with this company was discouraging. My son's i-phone developed "ghost screen" where it was doing its own thing and not sensitive to his finger on the screen. In July 2026 we took it to uBreakiFix in Cupertino. Ghafor there diagnosed it as a microscopic crack in the screen and recommended replacement. He quoted a price for an after-market screen replacement, and then a second price that was actually lower if we included their protection plan. It seemed like a no-brainer, so we purchased the protection plan. Within a week of the repair the phone started malfunctioning again so we took it back to Ghofar and he helped us submit a claim to have the repair re-done to Asurion, which is apparently uBreak's parent company. The next day I received an email from Asurion stating the claim was denied because the information in the claim didn't match the information Ghafor provided when he submitted the application for the protection plan. I called Asurion and they transferred me to 3 different employees who said they could not find the claim. I went back to Ghafor, who called Asurion for me and discovered the "incorrect match" was that he had given Asurion an incorrect phone number as my contact. (At that point I began to get an uneasy feeling about Asurion, because instead of closing my claim they could have contacted me by email to correct the information Ghafor had provided). Asurion said they would start the claim over again. This morning I received another email from Asurion stating they again denied the claim because "the issue with your product happened outside your protection plan's coverage period." That is impossible since I purchased the plan as part of the repair and agreed to a continuing charge to my credit card for the plan. Unfortunately for the amount of money involved I don't have the time or energy to fight about this. I went back to uBreak and a different employee helped me call Asurion to cancel the protection plan. When I showed the uBreak employee the email from Asurion about my claim being outside the coverage period she shrugged sheepishly. The person at Asurion did say that they would refund the remaining balance of this month's protection plan to my credit card and I hope that she was not lying to me about that. So what I think I learned from this loss of time and money is that if something goes wrong with an i-phone it is probably wise to spend the money to have it fixed correctly in the first place by an Apple Store. Asurion will probably continue to get away with these types of claim evasions because the amounts at stake are relatively small, but I hope someday a class action lawsuit will be the "fix." It's also sad that the uBreak staff did not have the integrity simply to re-do their repair that failed, instead steering us into the protection plan. Just be aware their protection plan is definitely not like a vehicle warranty where the garage does the repair and deals with the warranty reimbursement for you. read more

I want to tell you about how I had my laptop repaired at this service by insurance, I'm writing this because this is the fourth time I've been here and it's still broken. 1. Visit After the first repair I arrived and the case was not completely replaced, it had bends and bumps, they thought it was normal. 2. Visit. They repaired the case as needed, but the laptop made postaronnye noises about opening and closing. 3. Visit. I arrived and when I started to check that the laptop was working normally it started to shut down on its own. 4. Today I was finally going to pick it up and it stopped charging. They say something happened to the batteries. Now they are asking me to do a new claim because the old one was closed for some reason. Horrible insurance, horrible service no quality control! I normally don't write bad reviews but the 30-minute wait time for an appointment is simply unacceptable. After 30 mins of wait time, I finally got to talk to a store person. I immediately found out there was no such thing as free diagnostics but the minimum diagnostics charge was $99 and the battery replacement cost was sky high and it was better to do a trade-in for a new phone! read more

The guy at the register opened and closed the computer (took about five seconds--maybe he's The Flash?) and quoted me a price for a trackpad. I asked if I needed to pay anything. He said no. But UBreakiFix shutdown too? So like the stalker I truly am, I call from a *different phone*. They answer on the first ring. Interesting. I ask for an update. After being put on hold, the guy comes back and apologizes because the tech never updated me. Says they're waiting on a new screen. ‍ *Head Scratcher™.* I ask him to rewind because I came in for a **keyboard and trackpad**, not a screen. He apologizes again and tells me the tech accidentally **cut the cord to my screen** while working on the keyboard. This MacBook has maybe seven uses on it. Seven. Single-digit uses. And now it needs a screen because y'all gave my computer a lobotomy. He tells me they'll fix it once the part is in and he'll call me back in about twenty minutes. He never called. **Another week passes** and I call again. Straight to voicemail. Three times. So I use the trusty other phone again. Boom--answered instantly. I explain who I am (again) and get told they've been waiting on parts since the 6th. I correct him--no, you got the part, then *broke my screen*, and now you're waiting on THAT part. Silence. Like he didn't think I knew. He says the manager will be in tomorrow. I plan to call--but shockingly--someone actually calls me first. Only the second call I've gotten from them this entire process. He tells me the part will be in on the 18-20th. I explain that the biggest issue isn't even that they damaged my computer--it's the **complete lack of communication**. I paid for repairs before the repairs even started. Then my computer got damaged. Then silence for TWO WEEKS. I work from home. I rely on my laptop. It's 2025--computers aren't optional. He cuts me off with: "**The screen is free. We already apologized.**" With attitude. Instead of telling him to go to hell, I calmly explained that the apology was BS when the behavior never changed. He says, "**Look, you're not paying for the screen. Do you want your computer fixed or not?**" What did he THINK I dropped it off for? A spa day? So I activated my Karen Card and asked for the manager. Which is strange because... wasn't that who I was supposed to be talking to? Anyway, he promises the manager will call. I was recommended this business by a tech person at Target and I'm glad I stopped in! Excellent customer service and compassion. I went in today because my moto g was super slow to not taking a charge and was losing power by the second. The gentleman who helped me was super kind. Though much couldn't be done about my phone outside of a new phone or battery replacement, the cleaning of the phone port eventually helped me to see a charge during the day and I was able to finish my work day using my phone which was amazing! What I really appreciated was how much he cared and used every problem solving abilty to provide a sound solution for my phone as though I took it to the E.R., lol. Guy in front of me had similar problem--needed a new iPhone screen and actually had been told to come in--but "other stores sometimes take our inventory" and he's sitting there waiting to see if they can make the promised fix. I didn't get my phone repaired here, but they still helped me out as much as they could. My Samsung phone screen was broken and the only place that had the part was this location. I made an appointment through Asurion. When I went there, they told me they couldn't do it because their Samsung support was down for an indefinite amount of time. They apologized and suggested I go to another location nearby. I called that location up and they said that they didn't have the part. The Cupertino location said that they could pick it up at their store, but they said they were too busy to do that. When I told them this, the manager told me that he would send one of his workers to drop off the part to them. He didn't have to, but I really appreciated it. Thank you for helping me out! Do not go here. Waste of time, bad customer service. Hope this place goes out of business. I read the reviews and half are similar to my experience. I had a feeling it would be, but it was close to my school. I made an appointment online, with the description of my xbox disk reader problem, it says free diagnostics. They charged me for a "non refundable" deposit while they looked at it. Well he never looked at it, or opened it. He saw one tiny pincher bug in the frame and said it had cockroaches in it. Well he didnt even open it so I got a refund, was SUPPOSE BE A FREE DIAGNOSTIC ANYWAY The manager said if I clean it up, they would take it. I literally wipe it down and come back after class. Mind you, if I had cockroaches coming out of this thing I would understand. This guy is looking for a reason to not work, or hates their job or whatever. The manager wont even talk to me face to face, just keeps sending a front desk employee back and forth to communicate. This time they said they will take it, that it will be held for about a week while they order the part. No diagnostic has been done, it hasnt been opened TWICE now and the manager is diagnosing what to do with the console AND wanting to charge a non refundable $50 deposit!!!! I am told if they find any bugs I will not be refunded. Again, mind you it was ONE dead pincher bug on the outside. Not wanting to waste any more time with this fool or lose $50, I took my xbox. DO NOT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. WHAT A FREAKING JOKE. I am actually tech savy myselfand was just too lazy and wanted a quick repair drop off in between classes. Why schedule an appointment, have your customers drive 20 minutes to your store, and then decide you're going to close it for the day with NO notice? I arrived on Sunday at noon for my scheduled appointment, only to find the doors locked and a piece of paper on the door that they are closed for 4 days, one of which is today. I call the store with no response. Then I call the manager whose number is listed on the COVID papers and he told me "we told corporate and it's their problem to fix the reservation system." No it's not their problem, it's yours. If you have appointments it's your responsibility to call the customer if you have a change in staffing and will not be able to honor it, rather than have the customer waste an hour of their time coming to you. read more

Came here to fix my s20+ got it back with the front camera unaligned. Technician said "Oh it passed the Samsung test" but did you check the camera and the screen. Probably not... Waited a month to 2 month and so on. Had to get in contact with my phone insurance to send me a whole new phone. Ubreakifixit still owes me a liquid screen protector. Since it was replaced by insurance they did not know what to do with the replacement. Not a professional place, during our phone call all their phones ran out of battery. Wasn't able to get in contact until their phone was charged. Take your business elsewhere. read more
