My boyfriend was having problems with his phone battery and took it here. He had a clear phone case with valuable pictures in the back of family members, memories etc. He received his phone back and he saw that the pictures were no longer in the back of his phone case. He asked the employees if they had them only to find out the employees THREW THEM AWAY. When he asked for them to check the trash cans, the employee then said that they just took the trash out. Very unprofessional as they could've told him to take the photos out before they worked on it or even set them aside. At least tell the customers they need to take something out or do something before doing a service. Let alone throwing personal belongings away. read more

I would give it zero stars if I could. I was quoted $239 for (2) iPhone 12 mini screen replacements. I decide to only fix one because the other one was still operational. I was give an estimate for that phone on a receipt for $159. Went to pick the phone up after waiting over 2 weeks. The bill is now $260 to fix one phone. The phone has scratches on it from them trying to get the screen out. Horribly unprofessional. I will definitely never return and I'll be speaking with the attorney general about their business practices. read more

Phone still hasn't been fixed, even after 2 trips to the store. I was told it would take 48-72 hours. It took 6 days and they didn't even bother to call me when it was complete, I had to keep calling to check and every time they said, "oh yeah, we had to order another part for it" or "oh it's on Chris's desk in pieces, it'll be another day or so." I have zero faith that they actually did anything because I got it back and its STILL not fixed. DO NOT USE THIS STORE they are disorganized, non-communicative, act like they care, but in the end, as one of them told me, they prioritize Asurion customers, so if you're not one of them, be prepared to be unsatisfied. DO NOT GO HERE. i took my device here thinking itll be convenient and easy to get it fixed, but I've waited two weeks expecting a call back or something for something they said it'll take 7-10 to do. I tried calling the store but their number is disconnected and have no way in getting in contact with them. I drove to the store to ask what's the status was and they told me they hadn't even started or even ordered the part. when I asked for device back they supposedly had misplaced it or the employee was confused on where it was and told me to get in touch with the manager the following day. Took a tablet in for a simple cracked screen (no other issues). They ran diagnostic and confirmed no other problems. Same day service took 2.5 weeks and tablet now is glitching and faulty. When I took it in for warranty, the meth head tweaker woman managing the location said it was my fault and told me to leave. They will be out of business soon so seek a better option. read more

Horrible Store Management- Amber, Horrible Employees- MJ and Horrible Escalation Team Customer Service . DO NOT SELECT FAIRFIELD LOCATION- contact me directly and I'll give you $100 towards apple store repairs out of my pocket. Took my Apple MacBook Pro for a simple speaker replacement and now my MacBook isn't functional. My MacBook was fully functional despite 1 blown speaker and mint condition when originally dropped off. Ubreakifix is not an Apple authorized dealer for any repairs- BEWARE. I had the laptop overseen by APPLE store tonight and they were disgusted on how this MacBook was handled internally. Lots of internal pictures were taken as proof. Very sloppy work and mismatch speakers installed. My memory ram was destroyed and tampered with. My HDMI outlets were physically destroyed and damaged. My LCD screen was tampered with and doesn't work any longer. They didn't even install the screws on the bottom of the laptop but left pieces of scotch tape on all 4 corners to hold together. Original service date was 10/23/21 and finally picked up on 3/8/2022 after multiple attempts on fixing and constant lies on order status. Customer Service escalation Department is such a Joke and very helpless. Every single customer review about Fairfield location in 2022 is 100% accurate and I'm frustrated that I didn't check this before getting any service done myself. . My MacBook keyboard and trackpad stopped working and I took it to this UBreakiFix location and they were confident they could fix it within a couple days. After two weeks I got a call that it was unrepairable and I should sign up for the Asurion Home+ service. So I did and they said I would have to wait 30 days 2 full payments of $25 to file a claim and then pay $100 deductible to get my laptop completely replaced for a new one. Seemed to good to be true but spoke with multiple people that worked there asking questions to ensure I understand correctly. 30 days later I bring the laptop in and file the claim. Next day I get an email saying the claim was denied. I call UBreakiFix to find out why and they said because the laptop had previous damage the claim was denied. The laptop didn't have any previous damage though the keyboard and track pad was the first issue I ever had with it and it never had damage. The representative I spoke with then said that they denied the claim because I reported it had damage which I never did. Then he clarified that when I brought it in for repairs last month for the keyboard and track pad not working that when they put in the system the attempt to repair Asurion was able to see that and claimed that was previous damage. So they just scammed me out of an extra $50 and over a month without a working laptop. Not only that but the laptop won't even turn on now and it turned on when I took it in initially. I usually take pretty good care of my phone but one day I dropped it in the toilet. :-/ How does that happen? Anyway I took it to the Ubreakifix by my house in Fairfield to try and get it fixed. This guy Joe Theisler was there when I stopped by and wasn't really pleasant to deal with. He acted like he really didn't want to be there, let alone help me out with my broken phone. I don't know if he just doesn't like people of my ethnicity or what. So he said they could fix it the same day since they had parts for my phone in stock. I came back a few hours later and it still wasn't fixed. The same guy was there (with the same attitude) and told me they couldn't fix it and that it would be the next day. So I go back the next day and its still not fixed. Don't over-promise and then under-deliver, that's not cool! Plus that Joe guy's attitude just made it that much worse. I received great service at uBreakiFix. I took my laptop to uBreakiFix because the charger wasn't powering the computer. They opened up my laptop and found that a ground had come lose; and soldered the wire back fixing my computer. And they didn't charge me a thing. I'll be a repeat customer. read more
