On 08/20/24 at approximately 3:30pm I brought my iPhone 14 Pro Max in for water damage repair at 11550 Gulf Freeway, Houston, TX 77034. I was told the cost of repair was $150.00 (with proof) and agreed to the repair. Approximately an hour later, I was told the fee was $250.00. I declined the service after being told there was no guarantee it would work and it would take two plus days to service. By contrast, I visited the the Kirby Drive location at 5318 Kirby Drive Houston, TX 77005 at approximately 6:50 pm and they provided a more transparent and customer-friendly service, starting with a $40.00 diagnostic, which was a stark contrast to the Gulf Freeway location's approach. However, after speaking with Brandon K. at the Kirby location, it appears that the technician at the Gulf Freeway location (Pete R.) deliberately and intentionally damaged my screen even further so that it wouldn't turn on; he disconnected the Face ID cord; and neglected to add screws to the phone. Brandon K. from the Kirby store confirmed these malpractices via internal notes. Moreover, the initial repair cost of $150.00 has now escalated to $450.00 due to the technician's unlawful actions, placing an unexpected and significant financial burden on me. Given the severity of the situation, I hope for a prompt response to address this matter and prevent further escalation. This store is 100 percent liable for the damages they caused to my phone as confirmed by all of the employees at the UbreakIfix location on Kirby Drive. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would . They aren't reliable and they don't have real techs working there , there was something wrong with my software on my phone and I the customer had to explain to them how to connect it to itunes to downgrade the software . They are very unprofessional and they have no ideas what they are doing . They don't call you unless you call them for the status or an update or anything. I dropped my phone earlier this week and cracked the screen. I decided to go here on the whim and didn't expect such fast and quality service. Victor was able to get my screen fixed under 50 minutes while I did some holiday shopping around the area. Took about 7 hours to not fix my phone properly, when I pointed out my screen is defective she suggested I leave it another hour right before closing to swap the screen. I go back right before closing and they tell me I have to leave it overnight when originally she said it would only take one hour and a half to fix even though I was the first customer they had that morning. I declined and asked for my phone back and they didn't want to return it. Eventually she gave it back and the tech hadn't even started on it. I will never go back there again. There was other customers complaining as well. I suggest for them to be honest about wait times. Very frustrating, I only came back to write this review because I keep getting emails on how it takes 45 min to an hour to fix a device, which is not true. This is specifically for the location on gulf freeway, they need better customer service. read more

Very unreliable, I got my iPhone 8+ to get a simple screen replacement, everything was fine and it wasn't even a big dent I just thought why not repair it. Anyways they replaced the screen but then they took out my audio sensor? I couldn't hear anything when people called me. I took it back to the store and fixed it but then my phone kept hard booting the apple logo and the phone wouldn't turn on longer than 20 seconds. I asked for a refund and compensation and they told me I couldn't do it, I had to go to another location which was way farther and they told me I was eligible for a refund and I should be compensated too because they messed up. So I had to go back to the original store and they finally gave me a refund but had to talk to corporate about compensation. I was done with that unprofessional rip off of a company. Definitely don't recommend for any repair jobs because there's always a chance they can leave your electronics useless. read more

They cleaned my charging port in under two minutes when I thought I had to replace the whole thing. Both times I've been here, I've received fast service and prices that are well worth it considering the quality of parts they use.
