Arrive after work at 3:45p for a 4:00pm pre-schedule appointment. One person in front of me getting helped until after 4:00pm. No problem I waited. Finally get seen, give my phone number and explain the issue (SD card read broke in SD card slot of a 2021 macbook pro. You'd think this be either a simple precision tweezer job OR bottom unscrew cover to pop out the broken sd card tray... Nope...front desk guy take the laptop in back from 10 minutes, I hear him correctly explaining the situation to the tech in back. When he comes back out he explains it's a complex issue that requires many parts removed....ummm ok... I ask him the cost....Well $400 but if I pay for their cancel any time $59 per month service plan it will only be $250 (or $309)..... For an SD card reader plastic to be removed....insane. I'll go buy precision tweezers or macbook pro bits and do the removal myself. I came in here expecting to drop $50-$100 at most but shocked to hear 4x that. read more

Turns out this was 100% false and Asurion repeatedly denied my claim citing "pre-existing condition". I did exactly what I was told and this scam program stuck it to me. Stuck on a merry-go-round for several months and no working laptop, I ended up canceling the plan and demanding a refund for the months they had charged me while giving me the run around! Negative stars if I could!!! This place is such a SCAM! I've spent the last 5 days submitting and resubmitting claims to get my computer fixed and they keep getting denied for the most ridiculous reasons saying the information dosen't match, or they don't cover laptops (which they do). I've submitted 7 times having to call each time to figure out why, only to have it denied AGAIN! It's such a waste of time, keep in mind you have to confirm your identity and fill out a form and send a bunch of pictures EACH time! I'm amazed this place has so many positive reviews.... read more

For the most part this place did a great job. I have a Z flip 5 and the screen protector was slipping off. I already brought the phone to the San Clemente location and they really did not know what they were doing down there. This place looked it up and the San Clemente location was slipping important steps when applying the protector. Avoid the San Clemente location! But this location in Lake Forest did things right and by the book. I had it replaced about a month ago now and it's holding up great! And not only that, but they typically charge less than the San Clemente location. Also they did my repair for free as it was still in the warranty period. The reason I am giving the place 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the lady with the nose ring who works the front desk. She is in a word: awful. They need to get rid of her and I'm not the first reviewer to say so. She's abrasive, has zero customer service skills, and really doesn't seem happy with her job. This location is a "Certified Samsung Technician" and is advertised to fix Samsung phone screens in 2 hours or less. After cracking my phone screen, I was elated to find someplace to fix it so quickly, and booked an appointment directly from Samsung's website for the next day at 10:30am. I showed up early, and was told they didn't have my phone's color in stock and that it would take 3 hours (in both cases: good enough for me!) and to come pick up my phone after 1pm. Here's the problem: when I drove back (at 2pm), I was told the phone wasn't ready. In fact, they hadn't even started working on it. Not only that, but it wouldn't be ready for another hour at least. Furthermore, the price was $150 MORE expensive than the advertised price on Samsung's website. Overall... this was drastically more expensive and time consuming than advertised, even with a scheduled appointment. Also: they bribe their customers for 5-star reviews by offering a free screen protector. Very dishonest. read more

I asked to talk to the store's incarcade person who Adam refused to give me the lady's name. Similarly, Adam did nothing after saying that he was going to check my cellphone and it would take 15 to 20 minutes and I only passed less than minutes, he went out and said that my cellphone had no problem. When I dropped off the PS5 controller to get checked for a drifting analog stick I was quoted $30 to clean the controller in hopes that it would fix the problem. The second step was to replace the analog stick that would cost an additional $79. The cost to buy a new controller is $60. Why would you charge more than the cost to replace an item. The service was also terrible. I dropped it off on a Saturday morning. I was supposed to receive a call within 2 hours. I didn't receive a call that day. I tried to call that afternoon l, but no answer. They are closed on Sunday. So I called again Monday afternoon and my call went unanswered again. So I drove there to get a status on the controller. When I got to the store the door was propped open, lights were off, and no one was manning the front desk. I had to yell for someone to acknowledge I was there. The person that came out was not in a uniform. They came out in a dirty shirt, gym shorts and flip flops. I further found out that my device hadn't even been touched since I dropped it off. read more

I had a broken screen on my phone and Josh(?) and the folks at this store fixed it in less than 1 hour after quoting 2 hours but I do believe that some of their practices are a tad questionable. Allow me to explain... I only had a broken front screen however was told that per Samsungs policy they were required to replace the back of the phone too a $140 charge (but wait there's more)... if I signed up for a $25 a month fixit program I could get the unbroken back replaced for free. Just seems a little shady to be a store that has to replace something that isn't broken especially for a phone that I told them was just going to be returned to the nearby Verizon store as a trade in. The fact that in this day and age they would pull some scheme like that is beyond me. I am only giving it two stars because the person who replaced the screen did so in a very timely manner and was probably just parroting some backwards company policy while being monitored by HQ. I'd give the employees 5 stars for fixing the screen quickly but the company they work for shouldn't try to have customers pay for something that doesn't need to be fixed - plain and simple. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I made an appointment with Verizon a week in advance because my it wasn't keeping a charge long enough. The only female who helped me sent me away because she couldn't find my order. It took quite some time to convince her otherwise and to get the manager out to finally find it. When i returned after 3 hours the not only couldn't fix it but they damaged it more because the screen went blank. and told me I'll receive a replacement the following day via UPS. I didn't get the delivery and called then to ask if they can give me a tracking number. They said it's not their responsibility and to call my carrier so I did and was told by Verizon that Asurion never put an order in and I had to start all over again. What a waste day! They made so many careless mistakes and the female at the desk could care less about me. I watched her treat a mom and her little girl (who couldn't speak English) poorly. She basically didn't care about helping her with her cracked screen and sent her out the door with not a care at all. I've been without a phone for 2 days now and my sibling is in the hospital and I have no way to communicate with my family nor the doctors. Carlos confirmed the warranty was still in effect and said to return in 6 hours to pick up my phone. When I returned I waited an additional hour and Carlos assisted another customer that arrived after me. When he returned my phone the screen protector had some blemishes after it was replaced and he stated he could only try once more but could not guarantee he would do any better. Carlos then tried to charge me for the screen protector and I had to remind him I should not be charged. He asked for my phone back stating he needed to follow up with samsung before he could release the phone to me. I waited another 15 min until he returned my phone. Carlos did not have the common curtousey to take my phone out of maintenance mode when he handed it back to me, I did not realize this until I got home. While I understand he was the only tech there with trainees, I can see why there is such a high turn over at this location based on my experience today. read more

Brought my phone in for an insurance claim to replace a cracked screen. Went back 2 hours later, and I was told they broke the back cover during the repair. They didn't have the black one in stock, so they couldn't replace it and couldn't order it from Samsung as well. They offered if I either wanted the pink or white cover instead.... I declined!!! I asked him what other options I had, and they said I needed to check in with them next week to see if it's in stock. They didn't offer any other resolution. Horrible customer service!!!! He indicated that he had to close the ticket without explanation why. Brushed me off saying he had another person waiting behind me. Told me to contact Samsung for a replacement. Place is a scam. Jorge knew I was on my lunch break and was in a rush. Sprint/Google did a several diagnostic test and told me I had warranty to take it to UBreakIFix and it would be free since it wasn't water damaged, screen wasn't cracked, no scratches ( I had a screen protector AND otter box). Tell me why Jorge told me that the "screen was lifted" that maybe the battery was defected. I couldn't tell the difference but he continued to inspect the phone and didn't mention anything about a crack screen or scratches on the phone. Jorge told me it would take a day or two to diagnose and they would call me when it was ready. Dropped the phone of Tuesday October 22nd around noon. Anyways I sign the receipt without looking "condition notes" and disclosures because I was on my lunch and needed to drive back to Mission Viejo and TRUSTED Jorge since he didn't mention about any visible damage. I get back to work and look at the receipt and look at the condition notes and it mentions " good . Minor amounts of physical damage visible. (Cracked glass for instance). Regular use cosmetic wear (minor scratches, scuffs, dents in more than 5 areas) " WTFFFFFFFF! This is bullshit because I had a screen protector and otter box case sinye day I got it. Not to mention I ONLY had the phone for 3months. Google told me it was probably just defected phone. The reason why I went in to get my phone replaced was because my screen was black. It was still on because I could feel it vibrate. On top of that they wanted to charge me $55. It's Friday and I still don't hear from them. So , I called them around 11am. The person who answered the phone said my phone was ready since Wednesday. Wasn't sure why no one called me. Whatever. I asked what was the problem. He told me that they replaced the screen and that my phone works again. That I had to pay for the screen replacement. EXCUSE ME! First of all I have warranty (SCAM) second, why didn't anyone call me before replacing the screen? What if I didn't have warranty and couldn't pay the $200+tax for the screen? (SCAMMMMMM) He apologized but said he wasn't the person who made the service request. I drive to the location around 1pm. Pick up my phone and told them i wasn't paying for anything since I have warranty. He looked into it and tells me I don't have to pay anything. So ,if I didn't have warranty I would have had to pay $55+over $200= SCAM! THIS IS NOT HOW YOU CONDUCT BUSINESS. Next time I will read the entire receipt since you can't trust them to be honest with their clients. I had a Google phone that was still under warranty and was told by the Google rep my repair would be covered. I made an appointment here and was told that since the screen has a crack in it it is no longer eligible for warranty and I would have to pay $139.99 out of pocket. I went home to think about it and returned the next day. This time I had a $10 off email coupon that I showed them and they said the cost was now $149.99, don't understand how the price went up $10 in one day. They then said they would honor the price from yesterday, but that I couldn't use my $10 off coupon which made no sense to me. Seems kind of like a shady business practice, they even have the offer on their Yelp page but I guess they don't want to honor it. Overall my screen was replaced and my phone was good to go, but just note that you can't use any coupons at this location. My repair was estimated to take 3-4 hours and ended up taking a little over 4 hours. read more

So the next day I traveled about 1 hour and 15 minutes in traffic to be there at 5:40 and I was rudely turned down as soon as I walked 5ft into the store. But he Didn't offer to even take my phone over night and said it would be too much paperwork to do and to bring it back tomorrow... He said to try the Palo alto store I looked it up and its 3 hours away. Homie had sarcastic jokes too. I was completely done with Samsung as I called corporate and not a thing was done... I went to another asurion store in orange they were really cool and nice there too but they didn't have the part for my phone and they said to try lake. Forest and I am glad I did because Josh and Adam took care of business and were friendly.. They closed at 7 and they tried to get my phone back to me before they closed but since I called Samsung and was about to mail it in, and since I had a ticket with mail in they couldn't run diagnostics and had to get it the next day... But they have gone beyond expectations and are best to have this done within a hour technically I will always be a repeat customer here because of them. Before I arrived here though I had given up kinda and I went to the this store just because my girlfriend said just try what do we have to lose.im glad I did... Samsung can thank this store and these gentlemen for keeping me as a Samsung customer because I was done after how I was treated at their store in Glendale. Thank you guys for fixing my screen this phone was given to me as a gift from my father who passed a month after he gave it to me... I don't remember the last time he got me a gift previously but this phone means alot to me Samsung needs to clean house in Glendale and have Josh and Adam train or school their employees... If you can clone these guys and have an army of Joshs and Adam's it will take Samsung to another level.... because damn if that's who represents their company over there in Glendale that clown who claimed he was the manager I can imagine how many more people got done dirty like I did... Brought my Samsung Galaxy zFlip3 for a screen repair. Screen repair went great... But my front camera was damage during repair. I didn't notice the camera was damaged until after I picked it up and moved on with my day. Once I noticed, I contacted the store and after a couple conversations they ultimately rush ordered me a new camera and replaced it the next morning.
