Very customer service! Tony is the very best, and he is honest about what they can provide. Not a rip off!

Great thing was, I didn't even have to take a bus to get here! This place is conveniently located on State Street, a fitting spot for students who go to UW- Madison. The repair took a few days because they had to order the part but once it came in, the actual replacement only took a couple hours. By the time I got out of class, my laptop was as good as new. I did get a used part (because it was cheaper and I'm not rich) so there were small scratches but not that many (2-3 perhaps) to actually complain about because they aren't distracting let alone an eyesore. I liked that they did have the option to get a used part, though, instead of getting a brand new one for way more. I did wait a few days before submitting this review because I would've jumped on yelp as soon as I got home from the store but I figured I should wait to see if any malfunctions occurred before I start raving about my experience. Lo and behold, it's been almost a week and my computer is still doing great. One thing I'd like to point out is that the people behind the desk have great costumer service. The guy that I communicated with added some additional services that were of no cost like lightly cleaning my keyboard and adding a screen protector which I found to be really nice. I've already recommended my friends to this place and will come back if I ever need their services again (but hopefully not for my sake).

This is so long but worth reading if you are thinking about taking your device in for repair…read more In my 23 years of living, I have never before left a review on anything. Good or bad. But I downloaded yelp just for this. My pc was having problems on Sunday afternoon, I looked up where to get it fixed and this 'ifixfast' place showed up nearby. So I called and explained my issues and eventually came in to drop it off. I was very clear with the manager that I had opened my pc up, cleaned it thoroughly, unplugged most of the components and reinstalled them. Essentially telling him that I did what I could and was at a loss for how to proceed. The manager told they would begin diagnosing my pc the following day (Monday), toward the afternoon and would be in contact with me via phone call within the next 3-4 days for an update. I say "thank you very much sir" and leave. After a 56 hour work week as a commercial electrician I am looking forward to the weekend and enjoying my break. (It's Friday now) I still have not received a call from this business with any update. I just figured they forgot! Not a big deal, I'll just call them. Worker on the phone tells me it's not ready and he has no update for me. Confused, I respond with "have you guys done any work on it" worker responds with "I do not have that information." I say, "do you have some kind of time frame for when it would be done" worker says "no sir at this time I do not" I say "okay" and hang up. I then decided to come into the store to follow up on just what exactly was being done to my pc. I ask the worker if my pc is even being looked at and the worker said "yes it has" I ask what has been done so far and he said-and I quote "that is a good question" then looked in the back for 3 seconds and essentially told me exactly what I already knew, that the pc turns off right after an attempt to boot up. He tells me they have unplugged some components and plugged them back in. And that that is the extent of the work that's been done. I told the worker that I already knew that information and at this point I say "well considering you guys have had it for an entire week and can't give me any information can I just pick it up today and go try somewhere else?" Worker gets the manager on the phone and comes back to tell me I would still have to pay $75 out the $150 diagnosis fee. You're kidding right? I ask again if I could get some kind of an idea as to when my pc would be fixed I got zero information. I try to level with the guy by saying "so you are telling me you guys could have my pc for months? Sir I need some kind of time frame." And he still gives me nothing. After some back and forth with the worker (who honestly deserved no hard time because I could tell he's a good guy with a scum bag manager). I eventually just settle and pay $75 for them to do absolutely nothing to my property. That sucked and was enough for me to download yelp and warn everyone from doing the same as me.

I should have known right from that that this place does not put a high value on customer service. Anyway, the guy (Eric?) told me that they would have it as soon as Thursday, but possibly as late as the following Monday. Desperate and having been misled by the online reviews, I said OK, figuring I'd take my chances. He also promised to email me as soon as he placed the order for the part, to keep me updated on the status of my repair. Then, as I turned the store to leave, he said, "I probably won't make the order until Thursday because I have a half day Wednesday so I won't get many more orders between now and then." So already we've gone from "Thursday" to "Monday" but I gritted my teeth and thought that I'd just chance it, the reviews were good. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday passed and I heard nothing from these guys. Nothing on Monday either. So much for keeping me updated. After work Monday I went down to the store, thinking it would be done. When I got there I complained to the guy that he hadn't emailed me as promised, and got a halfhearted "oh, sorry." He then proceeded to say, "oh yeah, let me check on where that part is..." meaning it hadn't even come in. He told me if I wasn't satisfied I could just take the phone and then seemed almost shocked when I told him, yes, just give me the phone back. As though he was doing me some kind of favor. These guys wasted almost an entire week of my time for nothing and didn't even apologize, and my phone is still broken, so now I have to go through all of this again somewhere else, although I can't imagine anybody else would be this unprofessional. They might be good at fixing phones (I wouldn't know, since mine is still as broken as when I gave it to them) but they absolutely suck at customer service. Wouldn't take my phone back here if it was the last place on earth.

I brought it in and sure enough, even though my phone's glass had been completely shattered into little pieces, Clean Planet completely fixed it!
