Their card reader wasn't working, so they emailed me an invoice to pay instead. Well, about $600 and over a week later, and I still don't have a working phone. Looks it up, and with a straight face says it's $575+ OR cheaper with their "membership" which is 30 something a month. Huh? Other option is a non-official replacement glass which is still $280+ without a membership, less with. I don't need or want a membership! Hard sell. Finally said okay I'll take the off brand. Goes in the back, then says they are out of those! So my only option is to pay over $575 for a new screen when I KNOW other places charge less than a third of that? Nope. Absolutely useless. I brought in an external hard drive that was no longer powering on. After a week, I called to check in and their answer was "it's not powering on." Sooooo, they asked if they could take the drives out and try them in a different housing. I reminded them that this was exactly what I asked them to do a week prior. Another week and a half goes by and I get a message that my hard drive had been repaired. I show up the next morning and they hand an empty, broken open hard drive housing and two unhoused drives. In a freak accident I dropped my phone and running thru my head of how I am going to box it on top of a packed day. Call around. After a few calls then remembering that I had insurance on my iPhone I went thru my carrier and they sent me to the shop. The young man that helped check me was super kind. Explained in detail to the person a head of me the process of their repair. My turn quick check in. Had my screen ready. Told me it would be about an hour. I walked around a couple shops and came back. It was completed. It was super easy to use Asurion and them being a very quick and convenient shop made this experience became a lot easier. read more

Don't ever come here! They broke my phone, and refused to fix their mistake unless I paid for the repair! I brought my phone in for a manufacturer-authorized battery replacement. My phone had a small crack on the screen, but otherwise worked perfectly. When I checked back in to pick it up, they informed me that an employee had made a mistake when opening up my phone, and shattered the screen. Now, the screen didn't work at all. I asked them to fix it for me, and they refused to fix it unless I paid nearly $200. Obviously, I need my phone in working condition, so I paid just to get them to fix it. But when I came back again to pick it up, I asked the manager, Cassie, to refund the charge. She refused, flat out. This uBreakiFix is staffed by incompetent people who will break your phone and extort you for money to fix their screw-up, and a manager who apparently isn't authorized to reverse that. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Broke my iPhone screen, took it to them for replacement. Charged almost $400 to repair the screen and then in the process broke my phone so it only works on speaker. They told me they were ordering a part and would call me when it came in. No phone call. I went back to see if the part had come in and they didn't know what I was talking about and said they couldn't fix the problem they had created on my phone. I asked about refunding some or all of the nearly $400 and was simply told "we don't do that". While I was there the third time a man came in and said that they had damaged his computer when they fixed it. Don't go here! read more

Only giving 1 star because I am unable to post zero. Took my samsung galaxy tablet to them because it would not charge (after installing a new battery). Was told it needed a new charging port and that this part would take a week to order. Was charged $75. Three weeks later I finally phoned and was first told they could not find my order; then told it was just submitted that day and that they could not repair it. When I went to pick it up I was then told that none of my $75 was refundable because no work order had been issued!! Total Rip off. Subsequently I ordered a new port from Ebay which I installed myself to the tune of $20!!! And yes, my tablet now functions perfectly!! Worst experience ever. This business is dishonest, does poor work, and does not hold staff accountable. I took my Samsung fold 5 in for repairs under warranty. A pixel died on the interior large screen. When I got the phone back, the pixel was fixed, but the outer screen no longer worked. I brought it back immediately and was told sometimes when they remove the small screen to access the inside of the phone for repairs, it doesn't seat right when they put it back on and that they would check for "loose wires." They didn't find anything wrong and told me to bring it back another day and it would be fixed under the warranty with a whole new screen. I brought it back when they said, they in took it, and fixed it, installing a new small screen, but then said Samsung did not approve the repair, so they argued with me and Samsung for 3 hours, then removed the new screen and replaced it with the one that didn't work while they made me wait. Then when I got it back it was missing the sim tray. I went back to the store to pick it up and it was smashed to bits. They accused me of dropping it off like that and refused to fix it. Unbelievable experience. Avoid at all costs. Send your phone in to get repaired. Don't trust this vendor. read more

Having a phone break is so stressful, especially if you rely on it for work and need it repaired ASAP. I had gone to the Best Buy Geek Squad before Asurion who said they couldn't help me as I had an unusual situation with an older phone. Evelin at Asurion was so sweet and helped me solve my situation right away. I dropped in without an appointment and got immediate assistance and solutions from Evelin. They walked me through the whole process, helped me understand my options, was patient with me when I clicked the wrong thing and we had to start over, and got me set-up and on my way quickly. Even though I wasn't able to do the actual "repair" through Asurian (not their fault, an AT&T thing), they still helped me anyway out of the kindness of their heart - all without getting a dime of my business. Took my iPad in with a broken screen and LCD on a Saturday. Was told it could be fixed in 3 days as part needed to be ordered. Wanted it for a trip scheduled the following Saturday. Friday rolls around, no word so I call them and am told part hasn't arrived yet and would be here Monday, with vagueness as to why, but told they'd try to find a way to fix it that day. Hours go by, no call with updates, no word, so I call again twice and am finally told it wouldn't be available till Monday, after I'm out of the country. Worked 12 hours only for that money to go to a phone repair. Long story i dropped my phone and cracked my screen. (Galaxy note20 ultra). I called many shops to get a quote and i got quoted insane numbers from 420-600+. I was hesitant to call them since they were far away from where i lived but when i did the person who answered was very kind and respectful. They charged me a really good price (320). Also they are an official samsung repair shop partner. They fixed up my phone screen. I waited around 3-4 hours. I will surely come back if i need another screen replaced. read more

Beware, your product will lose its water resistance entirely - and Asurion employees won't tell you this! A few months after a great experience and screen repair my Apple watch completely broke when I got in the kids end of the pool. No employee told me this would occur, either before or after the repair. When I called to ask about a fix or refund they said all the dos and donts were emailed to me. We figured out the reason I didn't get the email was because they entered my email was incorrectly. I thought this would allow me to be refunded since I never received the terms and conditions, not true - management instead said I should have seen the water resistance loss on their website for iPhone repairs and connected the dots to all Apple products. Kicking myself for not just spending the extra $60 to buy a brand new Apple Watch that actually is water proof (had I known this, I definitely would have). My mind is blown that Verizon actually recommends them to all customs - I thought the insanely expensive price tag would equate to excellent service & high quality repairs but it definitely does not. Oh my goodness! Please save yourself time and headaches by not going here. I went in today to get my iPad Pro repaired. I had an appointment at 12 noon. I went in and waited ten minutes before being addressed. Then he was juggling me between three other customers and basically forgot about me and was dealing with other walk-in customers. When it was clear he had no time and attention for repairing my iPad, we left after about 35 minutes of waiting. Total waste of a lunch hour and fuel to drive the twenty-mile round trip. Making an "appointment" makes absolutely no difference than a walk-in at this location. Also, the day prior, when I first made the appointment to go in, I specified communication via text only. Less than thirty minutes later, I received a call from a person who truly could not communicate. I thought it was a crank call. Anyway, a total nightmare overall. Took my PS5 in with an obvious HDMI port issue. The lady there swore that there was no issue with the HDMI port and that she was able to play games on it. They "cleaned" my console, slapped me with a 55 dollar fee and said it worked fine. I got it home and tried it with various tvs, HDMI's cables, and power cables but it did not work. I then called them and they said that it works just fine and that it is probably the conditions I put the console in...what conditions??? I tried it on 3 brand new tvs and two monitors, 6 HDMI Cables to no avail. Customer service was no help either. They "do not give refunds for repairs",but they didn't even repair anything. The customer service line also kept saying they needed to place me on a brief hold while they checked something and then they'd transfer me to some other department that had nothing to do with the issue. The day before our appointment, I called and followed the voice prompts for a quote. It was a local number, but apparently the person who answered is at a central office. After I told them the model, they quoted $185, with a $15 coupon making it $170. So we went. When we got there, they said they didn't have the cheaper part, so it was going to cost $230. I talked to both people at the store, and called the phone number again. After a long hold and two escalations, they said they could give me $30 off. I don't write many reviews, but I believe their business practices and terrible internal communication make them not worth spending your time or money. Save both and go over to Batteries and Bulbs in San Rafael, where they are fast, efficient and less expensive. They fixed the phone in 30 minutes for $159. read more
