I bought two Duracell 9 volt and two Duracell 3 volt (CR2032) batteries, total with tax was $28.64. After leaving the store I began to think that was a lot so I walked to the CVS around the corner and priced the exact same batteries... total with tax $20.15. Humm... I finished my errands at Target and again priced the same batteries... total with tax $14.53. Exceptional customer service and fair pricing! I recently upgraded my phone. My old phone had a small crack in the camera lense that really brought down that trade in value. AT&T recommended that I get a repair at the shop down the road from Batteries Plus. That shop did not answer their phones, left me waiting at the shop, and quoted an outrageous price for the repair and also said that they would have to order the part!...this is a shop that supposedly does many of these types of repairs. A 3-second google search brought up Batteries Plus. They picked up the phone when I called and said they could fix the issue. The price was a fraction of what the other store quoted. Batteries Plus was efficient and effective. I had a follow up issue, which the store personnel also quickly addressed. Avoid this place. I brought in my iPad to have a cracked screen replaced. The employee asked me to come back in 24-hours. I returned 26 hours later and another employee went to check on the work. She returned to tell me that the repair would take another 48 hours without explanation. At that point, I asked if the work had even started. Sheepishly, she admitted as much. I asked for my device back and took it to a more reputable place for the repairs. read more

Although it's easy to install, and included when you buy battery, it's in an awkward position, so takes a bit more time. Extremely disappointed in this place. Bought a lemon of a car battery from them and they failed to honor their 3 year guarantee. I'll never buy anything from them again and I'll tell everybody I know to avoid them like the greedy thieving plague that they are. Notice in the picture the date code of the battery 5/20 (May 2020) it's not even May 2022 yet, the battery failed and could not be charged or jumpstarted. Been looking to get a blank key fob programmed and cut, for a 2020 Toyota Corolla, First visit in October 2020, worked with Ken, & since then I have been talking with Julie and Cole, and they were super nice each and every time! Due to scheduling and a miscommunication, leads us to our 4th visit, prior to this, I spoke to Julie, and said that we need to find some type of conclusion to this transaction, and if possible if we could kindly receive a refund and she completely agreed and apologized, and I thanked her for her understanding and time. Our last visit, we finally settled with Ken, that the key was not able to be cut, or programmed, and he gave us several options, to have it be from their own keys and have it sent out, at this point though we wanted to take a break for now, and possibly come back at another time. Well tonight I was driving down north McDowell and rolled my window all the way down took a right onto Washington and my phone was on my dash rolled out of my window and onto the road . I have bought several of the little Torchy flashlights from the Fairfield store, close down on N. Texas St. I went to the Vacaville store off of Monte Vista and the lady there was not very pleasant and said she could even get a replacement battery because there was issues with the battery. I know the Petaluma store at one time was connected to the Fairfield store that closed, so when I call and talk to Julie on the phone who has a total sweetheart and extremely helpful. So when I explained the situation to her, which is very apologetic for the actions of the Vacaville store and she actually resent me a flashlight, which is above beyond what she should've even done. So if you want great customer service and which seems to be great people that care about their customers this is the store to shop at Julie. I went in today with my cellphone to buya battery. I had my business phone with me and asked them to check for any other problems and let me know if there might be something else wrong with it. I went back an hour and a half later to find that the charging port wasn't working and that they had installed the battery without calling me. I came in here to get my watch battery replaced. The lady was very friendly. I asked how much it was and she said $13. I said for the battery or the labor. She said for everything. This is a very good price. I've had watch batteries replaced in the past and they charge you for the labor and the battery. I asked her if I should come back later and pick it up. She said it would be ready in about seven minutes and it was. Good service. They have every type of battery that you could possibly think of. I explained to her my current situation, which was being stuck with a dead battery and waiting on AAA roadside to come give me a jump. Marcy said "What's your location? I can have someone come and replace and install your new battery". Within minutes Eric came. He has an amazing smile and was very warm. Needed a new battery for my minivan, I needed it to get done in a hurry... I wasn't aware that these guys dealt with car batteries, not to mention I truly didn't expect them to also install it! But, I was wrong about both of my assumptions and was very happy to be proven incorrect. Four it was the best car parts buying experience I've ever had in relation to my vehicle! The price was fair, even more so with buying online discount... The battery was ready the next day, and they were ready for me when I arrived and had my new battery installed in my minivan in less than 15 minutes. Again, I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a new battery for their vehicle, or from the looks of their store, a battery for any type of device. Did I mention that they installed the well priced battery for free? They beat the Honda store by over 50% on price, and that was only for the battery itself! On DECEMBER 28th I went in the PETALUMA store to get a spare key for my Honda Accord. As I was reviewing my receipt I noticed an additional charges. He told me that there was an additional programming fee that was $49.99. I handed him my key and he said he needed to order it. It should arrive in 4-5 days. On JANUARY 15th I went back to the store to check the status of my order. He said someone will call you when it arrives. I told him I ordered it almost 3 weeks ago. I asked for a refund. Poor customer service. I should have known. I watched another customer complaining about a refund too. I support small business but can't recommend this store. read more

Had the screen to my iPhone repaired here. The guy who helped me was pretty rude and could not understand my hesitation to provide him with my iPhone passcode. When I asked him why he needed my passcode to repair a screen, he shortly replies "testing," as if that answer should be sufficient. His unsympathetic response to my hesitation was, "it's not like we're going to go through your phone." People keep A LOT of personal and financial information on their phones these days, it should not come as a shock that someone might be hesitant to just hand this info over. There are many better ways this could have been handled - a waiver, have the customer enter the passcode themselves, or at least a heads-up about this procedure when the appointment is made. read more

My small flashlight stopped working and so I stopped by Batteries Plus Bulbs to see if they could fix it. I use this small high beam light to do volunteer bird research for the wetlands of our park areas. Tara and Marci were so kind to look it over and inspect it for me. I had a bad battery a while back and must not have cleaned it as well as I thought, and my batteries appeared OK on my home battery tester. So they cleaned it out much better than I had and tried new fresh batteries. That did the trick. It worked like new again. These two ladies were so patient to try to get it working again, and I am soooo grateful! Now I can inspect the bird houses better on a foggy day and keep the baby birds happy and healthy. 10/10 I am really happy with my experience and the way they handled my phone issue. I have an iPhone XR that is still in pretty good condition it just had a broken screen. Got the screen fixed here. When I got it back something caught my attention, unlocking the phone I got a notification saying that my Face ID was disabled. I brought it to their attention and the people that fixed my phone worked on it a bit more. Assured me they will do everything they can to help. They kept their word and fixed all my iPhone issues for a good price. This will be the last place I shop in the future; wanted to support local business, but with the bad attitude I received here, online shopping is a much more fulfilling experience. Had a car FOB battery replacement. Young woman took the FOB behind the partition, had a problem opening the case, older woman went back to assist. When my FOB returned, there was a deep scratch across the back of the case. I mentioned it to the younger girl, as the older one was checking in the chandelier light bulbs. I know the scratch was not there; the older woman said " could not have done that because the case doesn't open from that area," before the younger one could even respond to my concern. Customer is always wrong, store is never at fault, and I could care less about your concern...is the way this store is going. When in to buy a battery replacement for my car key battery, they then offered to replace the battery for me for a extra payment . I was hesitant and man do I wish I went with my gut . They said it would be a few mins so I walked around the store on call , then when I got back home I found out that they broke the key back (forced it open to replace the key battery ), then a few months later the key battery died already . Definitely do not recommend this place unless you want to pay to get your equipment broken. Then went in to get a whole new key, because the one they broke , and then the key wasn't even programmed to my car so it didn't work , so now I need to make a new appointment with them and wait another 3 days for that appointment . read more

I took my iphonexr in to have the screen replaced. They had replaced a screen on an older phone for me without an issue. However, this time, after the screen was replaced, my phone was glitchy (no FaceID and then some). They put another screen on and same deal. They determined that whoever did the initial replacement had messed up the phone's ability to do FaceID and ordered me a replacement phone. Everyone I dealt with was very pleasant and the manager was apologetic. The replacement phone did not have an Apple battery. Perhaps just a coincidence, but the touch screen became glitchy (as in non-responsive requiring many force restarts) as in non operable. 3 stars for the great employee service. The battery in my Ford Escape kept dying so I decided to have the battery tested to make sure that it was indeed the battery. I originally went to autozone and while I typically have good service there, I was told that they couldn't install the battery because of the placement of the battery mount in the engine compartment - plus the battery was $179...I called batteries plus and spoke with Jeff, I explained the situation and he promptly said that he would be able to give be it a try (the battery is in a seriously inconvenient spot). Plus the battery was only $111...I told him that I was on my way He provided amazing customer service, he didn't seem deterred at all with the task. Both ken and Jeff went above and beyond. I bought halogen replacement bulbs here but had trouble getting them into the light fixture I had, so I went back to the store for help. Tara detected the problem right away. She took the fixture apart, removed the broken part, made a replacement piece and soldered the wires back together. She was amazing! Friendly, smart and very customer service oriented.
