I came to the store to pick up the box for my wife's newly purchased phone as it had the charging cable and accessories. Before leaving I checked that the materials were in the box. I discovered they weren't, and stated that nothing was in the box. The worker became hostile, and began speaking to me as if i had pocketed the contents and was trying to swindle them for a free additional one. I was quite annoyed and remained in place stating again the box was empty, at this point, his coworker pointed out that the contents of the box were in fact on the desk. Sheepishly the worker who had become hostile said sorry looking down. I am never going back, there are 19 cameras in that place capturing every angle of the store and the worker never acknowledged that they themselves could've made a mistake and immediately assumed i had bad intentions. read more

I came in to buy a new phone in December 2024. My phone was over 6 years old. My phone bill recently went up to about $75 a month. I told the rep that I wanted to keep my phone bill amount the same. She told me if I sign up for auto pay and for AARP. That it would discount my bill back to around $75. I signed up for both options. I make my first payment in January around $75. Next month I get a bill saying I owe $110. I call customer service and I'm told there is a prorated amount I had to pay and next bill is going to be $86 a month for the remaining months. I'm really annoyed that I was lied too when I bought the phone. I will never go back to this AT&T store or any other again. I'm switching over to a new carrier. This company has bad practices. I work in finance and I can't even understand their bill. Such a joke. I'm done with AT&T read more

This store customer service is terrible. My son lost his phone so we got a replacement. When we found his phone, we couldn't use it as they reported it stolen. They also added a phone line we weren't aware of for like 6 months. They also had us paying for 8 insuarance policies for 5 phones. A totsal ri off place. There were more issues they couldn't resolve and blamed me for. I will never go back to this store and am questioning ATT for my cell phones. read more

Well- here we go again. I got the same ol smoke and mirrors service at this AT&T location as I did at Sprint before them. Sprint stole $ from me for too long so I finally took the plunge after 20 years and switched to AT&T. I traded my 8 Plus (which I had just acquired in a little insurance swaparoo action at apple). My new iPhone 12 Pro Max was supposed to have a $700 discount appearing in credits on my bill. My stipulation was that I was not going to raise my phone bill- otherwise I would have kept my sprint service. I ordered my service online and went to this store simply to pick up my order. I know EXACTLY what my bills were supposed to be. Well I just got the first bill and SHOCKER- it's almost $30 above our agreed upon rate. I called the store and asked for Ian Hall, who's name is listed on my service order. I was told there was no Ian there. And then he insisted that I had to come BACK to the store in order for him to help me. I ride a motorcycle and recently had surgery and am neither unable to get there nor want to go there. This is their royal f up, not mine. Unfortunately I don't expect anything different from cell phone stores at this point. Makes me believe that sales and dishonest plan enrollments are motivated more by incentives than what the customer asks for. I'm pissed. On hold now to speak to someone before I cancel the service . There are 2 other AT&T stores in Santa Rosa. I highly recommend going to one of those instead of this one. read more

Ok I stopped by here today just to see if I was eligible for an upgrade, because I have literally no clue how anything having to do with my cell phone works, and Miguel was such an angel! He helped me not only walk out with a new iPhone, he updated some stuff on his end that gave me more discounts. I am canceling AT&T after many years. Why? The last straw was that they were about to double my bill without my authorization! And, beware, new deregulation means it could happen to you, too! I discovered this issue by accident, when I called in May to ask them how I can lower my bill. The gentleman lowered my rate by moving me from a 5gb plan to a 6gb plan. Yeah, no sense, but it dropped my monthly a lot. Well, I received a bill in June that was even lower, and didn't make sense, so I called. The first representative was obviously new and didn't know, so I called back. The woman I spoke with that time was able to explain it, but also noted that my account was set to INCREASE to 12gb and a higher monthly in July! I never authorized that, so asked her to dig into why that was happening. She didn't know, so transferred me to a manager. That person let me know that the "system" automatically changed my program! She was able to stop it this time, but said it could happen again at any time, and I'd need to call back every month to check! Seriously? Is this the result of the end of the FCC's net neutrality that Congress wouldn't act on? They can do anything to us at any time without our authorization? My new plan doesn't even exist anymore, so if I hadn't caught this before the increase went into affect, I'd be stuck with a more expensive plan no matter what! The manager there was candid, telling me that they don't even know how to explain this new policy yet. Enough reason to cancel. While making sure my ATT&T account was canceled, I spoke to another representative who tried to justify their actions by saying it was on the last page of my last bill in the fine print! Really? And who has time to read the fine print every month on every bill? The answer: No One. So beware. I don't know which other companies are taking advantage of the new deregulation, but CHECK YOUR BILLS! And perhaps if enough people leave ATT&T and whoever else tries this, they might wake up. This is the worst public relations move I've seen in a LONG time! read more

TEDDY ROCKS!!! I originally met Teddy at the Rohnert Park store a couple weeks ago. Turns out he is really from the Santa Rosa- Mendocino Ave store. He assisted me with switching out a couple phones & transferring a line. I usually get a mediocre 3 star visit, with a young kid that never seems into his job. Which I guess I get. I was 20 once...back in the olden days anyway. If you're looking for anything, or want to switch. Get ahold of Teddy. He is wonderful. Explains everything, answers questions, and with a killer personality. Future manager maybe? If they are smart, they would capitalize on this guy!! A personality goes a long way in customer service. I would go somewhere else. After receiving an upgrade I purchased at att online, I found a scratch when I opened the box. Called att cust service and was told I could exchange it at this att store. I called and got Carlo. Carlo was rude. interrupting me tells me Not true. I asked so who do I believe. He raised his voice . Said he's right. I asked for manager. His voice was raised as he tells me he is the manager. Then he hung up on me. I had s bad experience at another store in Santa Rosa. I guess that's ok with att. I am retired from att. Went in store to replace Iphone X that stopped working. I was talked into Iphone XI at 1/2 off if I added a new line of service. They said I would receive $10 off per line if I signed up for autopay. They said it was set up but never received discounts on my bills. (They failed to mention you have to stop the paper bill along with signing up for autopay which they didn't do).They also said I could cancel new line of service at any time, not true after I left I read the fine print in the deal said you have to wait 90 days. They totally lie to your face about the promotions and act ignorant when you come back and call them out on the misinformation. I would never deal with this store again, totally dishonest! read more

It's very hard for me to give a company only 1 Star. I give the employee whom helped me today 5 stars but I give the company zero if I could! Although I've been a loyal customer for a decade, I am sadly walking away today and switching to Verizon! It is sad because I know that att is slowing down their service on purpose so that customers like me, who are grandfathered into a plan that is no longer available, are leaving to companies they can rely on but essentially are getting a crappier plan. This way once att has all their towers up and running, they can charge everyone top dollar on their plans! It's sad that the state is rolling out 5G towers everywhere yet the most dominant company cannot provide tip top coverage? It's all a scam! Let's go back to pagers and landlines. read more

I never thought I would be to giving AT&T a five star review. When I entered this location yesterday, I did so with the resolve to get out of my contract no matter what the cost. Instead, I had the great fortune of being served by Grant, the store manager. He was so knowledgeable and helpful that by the time I left I felt like I won the lottery. I have never experienced such amazing and competent customer service, and he set the bar so high that I don't ever expect to again. Thanks to Grant, I now have an affordable family share plan, Internet for my house, and a new iPhone for my wife. Now I know where to go for all of my phone and Internet needs! read more

My husband went in today to buy a NEW iPhone X. Henry, the manager, was the one who helped him. Everything went great until we were driving off and realized someone else's Apple ID was on the phone and there had been recent calls made for the past few days. The contacts were all from someone else that had previously used the phone. This was not a new phone. We went back in and Henry was still there and right away said it was his account and he just needed to log off and we'd be set. But the Apple ID on the phone was not anyone named Henry. We called him out and he tried a few more excuses. When we told him it had recent calls made from two days before, he had nothing to say. It was all bull. We asked for a new phone and he said yes, finally, after all the excuses and stuttering. Will never go to this location again. They sell used phones as new. I can't speak for the rest of the staff but the manager is a liar. read more

I arrived a frantic mess and as soon as I walked in was greeted and felt immediately at ease. When I think of what customer service means, especially during such a difficult time for this community, Carlo and the team nailed it. Avoid these shady sales creeps. Went in to set up a GoPhone since I needed a SIM. They wanted to charge me $25 for the SIM, fair enough - they aren't a corporate store and need to get paid. But then he started telling me he needed to charge me another $25 for an activation fee. No GoPhone has an activation fee, at this point he either doesn't know his business or is just straight lying to rip me off. I clearly told him my needs, which were very minimal but kept trying to sell me stuff I didn't want. Really unfriendly. Walked out, went to an AT&T corporate store and they hooked me up with a free SIM, and no activation fee of course. At least a $50 savings over these shady creeps. Would like to see them go out of a business since there are less informed consumers out there that they can prey on. read more
